On Saturday morning.

On Wednesday afternoon, I got a call from Debbie across the street from us. Asking if I know anyone that would like a refrigerator? She told me that everything works on it. Jeanne overheard the conversion. She told me that we need that frig. So afterwards we talked about it and it makes since. The one in back is smaller. We need more room for bait (freezer) and for drinks. (Pop), So, Kaden was sitting in the living room and I asked him for his help. So, we climber into the Ranger and drove over to Chris's house first. I needed to pour this Copper Sulfate (chemical) into the septic tank there. There is a bunch of roots in the tank and causing the system to back up. So, this Cooper Sulfate I guess eat up the roots and there are no more. Then we went over to Debbie' house and picked up the refrigerator. I backed up and pushed it into the Ranger. Came home and let is sit there until I take it to the scrape yard.

We all went out for dinner on Saturday evening. Went to a place called Chuck's Seafood. This place is very nice but the cost is there too. If you look closely, See MARKET PRICE on a lot of items here.

Kerry and her hubby (Mark) wanted to take us out for dinner. So, Jeanne and her were talking and they came up with this place.
Hey, if anyone out there know me, food is good even at Burger King. So, I got Atlantic Sea Scallops. Jeanne asked how much? $40,00. I am okay I will get Shrimp Parmesan $28.00. Then Jake spoke up and said Tom loves scallops. So, I had no choice but to get them. They really were not as good as they could have been. It's okay, Mark and Kerry were very happy to pay for our dinner.
Okay, after eating Kerry invited Nathen and his son. They wanted to take a family picture. Plus, they asked Jake to come too. But he had something else to do.

We got the pictures done and Nathen and his son had to go back over to other family member's home.
Jeanne and I went to bed. I think Kerry and her family stayed up pretty much the whole evening. Kerry told me that she doesn't sleep well before their trip home.

Jeanne went in to wake up Rachel and Mason.

Jeanne, Kerry and Mark sat out back and had some breakfast and went and packed the car and ready to rock and roll. We said our goodbyes and they were on their way home now.

Saturday said our goodbyes to Kerry and her family. They are on their way home (Iowa). they got home on Sunday evening, safely.

I loaded up my little truck, the refrigerator was already in there. I just went out and back and found some other items that we really don't need to save.

I pulled up and dropped off all the items and refreg. too. It came out of the truck standing up. That was funny. When I started pulling, the guy in the backhoe asked if I needed help? I told him that is why I used my smaller truck, made so much easier to fill and pull off.

Now that is a strong electric magnet. It really was kind of neat to watch it just pick it up and drop it on top of the pile.
I must have dropped the receipt they gave me for the pay off. I got $28. + I think it was 400 pounds+
Over all I got rit of some stuff and paid for some (spotlights) bulbs we need to the back yard.
Well folks it is now start of Christmas Season.
We got the Christmas lights and stuff up and looking pretty good, I think. I will share pictures the next time. The sad part is this one was so long I started it on Nov. 26th at 8am. But finished it up this morning 11/27th at 11am.
I really hope and pray you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and weekend.

Okay, Thanksgiving has started. Tuesday evening. Nov. 21st.

Okay we got together for Thanksgiving Dinner here at our home. The food was pretty much left over from the Teachers Thanksgiving Luncheon. But it sure was nice to see the kids and just enjoy a nice meal.

Left to right, Me, Jeanne, Kaden, Cashlin, Christa and Jake. The kids and Christa are going to a friend's home for Thanksgiving Dinner and hanging with them for the weekend.  Jake has to work on Thanksgiving Day.

On Wednesday morning I had to take some of the food that was left, back to the school to store it there. The reason is our refrigerators are full already. Plus needed to bring some things back for our Korean luncheon. We had a Korean Dinner really. After Kerry, Mark, Rachel and Mason got here. They came in from Iowa and staying here with us until Saturday, It's nice when family come to stay and just hang out.

This is Alex, Kaden and Racheal, they are making Egg Rolls for Thanksgiving Day.

Now this is Thanksgiving Day. This picture is some of the Egg Rolls the kids rolled Wednesday evening.

Okay, now my baby made these Thanksgiving Cupcakes for breakfast. These are the following, Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Mac and Cheese. Plus, a marshmallow on top. There are Turkey Cupcakes too. Turkey, Mash Potatoes, dressing and Cranberry Sauce on top. Jeanne's niece, Micheal gave her this idea. They were sure GOOD.

After breakfast, Jeanne, Racheal and I went to the school to cook (Fry) the Egg Rolls. I think we ended up with 120? Might have been more?

We came in 1 hour late, but the family waited for us. that sure was nice of them to do that. We all gathered together and grabbed hands and prayed. Asking our Lord to bless the food plus, bless our families here and one that could not make it here, and the food.

I didn't take any pictures of the food, my bad. But we all ate, and everything was wonderful.

After eating and just hanging out, everyone was doing something. Playing cornhole, sitting next to the campfire, or playing with the dogs.
As the evening was winding down, it was time for us to get going. We had to stop by the school and clean up our mess from before.
Folks I really hope and pray you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Hey, we even watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade on T.V.
Hey, I really want to wish each and every one out there, God's blessings on all of you. I know He has been very good to me and my wife each and every day. Just to be part of her life. We all have things we are dealing with, but I try to keep bringing them back to HIM.
Please take the time to ad least text your family members. THAT YOU LOVE THEM.

These are a couple of things we did this last week.

I have known these guys (my brothers in SLCC)
From left to right, Billy, Bobby, Roy and Fred. They all live the Spanish Lake Country Club. Roy has been my friend for over 6 years. He is my helper whenever we do jobs.  Well, this is Wednesday (Nov. 15th 2023) I came over to help clean a little more out of Fred's house. He moved in a while back and now is trying to get things in order. So, the brothers came to his rescue. We sat and had some good and tasty donuts and then did some work around the house.
These guys are real brothers, the Kurth's. I am very blessed to have friends like these guys.
Now back to real work. I need to go back to Westwood and help my wife, fixings food for the students and teachers.

I think this day is Friday. We are feeding the teachers Thanksgiving Dinner (lunch really)

There sure is plenty of food. Feeding around 150 people.

This is where the meal will be served. At the school there are three lunches so the teachers. eat on the same schedule.

Well, I think everything went well. Everyone enjoyed it and afterwards there was a desert contest.
So, these are the judges. The really funny part is my baby won first place with her Bread Pudding. Some of the teachers thought that she should have not entered, she is a CHEF.
BUT SHE WON ANYWAY.

This is Saturday morning and starting to clean up the rose garden. Needs weeding very much so. Before we can put out the Christmas Decorations.

These are just the outside ones. Well, we need to get ready to go to go to a birthday party.

It's really funny, how folks from the Islands are always late to any kind of party. Mr. Wilks is having a birthday party and it started at 7pm. I think he showed up at 8:30pm. But the folks were coming and going during the party.

This is my baby with Mr. Wilks. He's from Jamaca. That is what I was talking about being late to parties. But at the end of our evening, we did have some fun. We even got up on the 360 dance floor and took a video of us dancing. I sent it to Jeanne's Facebook page and now I cannot find it.
I think we left around 9:30.
We got home and crashed.

I guess this was Sunday evening. I switched the light bulbs on the house. Since we have lived here, I have tried to keep up with the different holidays. Like 4th of July, I put in Red, White and Blue bulbs to celebrate the holiday. So, this evening I put in Red, White and Green ones. Okay why did I take this picture. Well, I just finish putting the lights in, and I saw my little friend just hanging out.

I guess the bugs are hanging out too.
Folks today is THANKSGIVING DAY. My prayer is that we all take the time to
THANK OUR LORD FOR ALL HE HAS GIVING US.
Remember He is the one that has giving everything we have just because HE LOVES US.
THANKGIVING DAY.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
