Not sure what all this is about?

As Roy and I were driving south on US 1. We stopped to see what is going on. A couple of days ago I drove by here and saw this large GE package sitting on this crane.

There was a couple of guys painting the crane. So I asked what was in the large package. He told me it was a generator.  Where is it going? He told me down the road.

That package sure must be pretty heavy?

As we were driving to go over the Hutchinson Island bridge. Saw these other packages. So I guess they shipped these in and using them some where? Maybe even in Vero beach. The power plant was sold to FPL a while back. Maybe they are going to use them there?
There is a main power plant on Hutchinson Island too. Maybe there?
Hey when I find out I will let you know.

Just enjoying a Sunday morning.

As Janice and I went to church at Archie's. We took a walk along the Jetty, you can see it is pretty winding down there.

We drove over to Pepper Park Beach. Here is is free and the beach is as beautiful as the one you pay to get into. As walking up you can see someone is having fun. We went into the water and boy it was chilly. Janice told me afterwards that the temp of the water was only 74 degrees. Well as we were in it it sure was cold for me.

I know it was over cast. But it still was a pretty day.

This family next to us were having a ball with that Toucan (blow up). As we sat there watching them. I think the dads were having more fun than the kids. It really was a wonderful day.

I have not done this for a while.

I rode up to Vero Beach area. There are two bridges over to the island. I went over the first from my house. I think it is called the 17th Street Bridge. This was a little high up than I remember the last time. But by His grace I made it up and over. But still had to take a couple of pictures.

I now my beautiful face doesn't always make it to the blog. So this is a selfy in front of Mulligan's Restaurant on Vero Beach.

During the Hurricane named Matthew did a lot of damage to this board walk up here. It looks like it is all fixed up and ready for the Snowbirds.
I rode around in a park called Riverside. It is east of the Merril P Barber Bridge.

While there I just took a walk out to look at the boats going by. Then I turn around and saw this Ford pickup being pulled in by this guys' boat. I am not sure what happen. But I think he left it in neutral. So as he was gunning his engine to get off of the trailer. He pulled his truck into the water.

As people watched as I did, I felt helpless. All three of these truck didn't have a tow line to help this guy out. If I had my truck I have one of those in my tool box. I am sorry but as I am riding my bicycle. I really was no help.

Now going over this bridge was a little bit easier. I got over and rode to the Dollar Tree. This place I always stop to get a ice tea and maybe a snack too.

Okay I can help my potassium. These are bananas and chocolate. You know riding a long way, my legs sometimes get a little tight. Looking at the picture, they sure look good.

But as I open them up.Not looking that good at all. Hey it is $1.00. I ate a couple and throw the rest out. The ice tea hit the spot. Rode back home. It really was enjoyable ride.

Doing a small project in the park here.

Last week I got a phone call from Wayne. He asked if I could look at his window unit. So that day Roy and I stopped and took a look. Wayne was telling us that there was water (condensation) coming from the unit, on the inside of the Florida Room. Well I looked at it and it was hanging down enough for it to drain out. So I made a suggestion. Maybe just drilling a small hole in the bottom of the unit will help it drain better. Well I drilled into a place that was rusty, thinking it would be easier to drill plus it was the lowest part. I did and I heard air rushing out of the unit. I must have hit a freon line? The next morning we went over to see if the unit was still working. NOT. I guess that night Wayne and his wife found a used unit and bought it. So I told Wayne, we would put the new (used) unit it for free.

As we were winding down. Roy and I went out to Home Depot to find some brown spray paint. Which I think we hit it on the head. I matched so well. Pus the unit even works.

Mean while Wayne asked for us to put up some wire rack shelves in his shed. Which you can see, we did and they came out looking pretty good too.

I think this was the next day? Roy's gutters are full of leaves and stuff. So we got Jimmy's latter out and climbed up and you can see they are full of leaves and whatever else. Got my pressure washer out and cleaned them out.

There still was some stuff in them. But Roy told me that it was okay. The rain will wash the rest out.

Roy noticed that this drain was full to the top. So he pulled it down.

In the bottom of it was full of roots. So we just cut it off an cleaned the rest of the drain out. So we hope this will flow better and maybe check it more often. .

Trying out my new toy. Electric lawn mower.

About two weeks ago I bought this electric lawn mower on line at Home Depot. As I have been very busy doing thing s around the park plus traveling away. I have not had a chance to try this beast out.

So you can see it really works. It only cost me $49.99 plus tax. Free shipping too. So it does a pretty good job.

As my grass has not been cut for a week and half there was plenty of clippings. I filled up a large garbage bag. That was only the front yard. The rest of the yard I just cut without the catch bag. But I am happy to see it does work.

The morning before, on Wednesday. I gave myself a hair cut. While doing it, I heard a different sound as I cut. I realize the cutting head came off. You know the comb. Now my hair looks like the kids that pay for those kinda lines on their heads. It funny thing was, I could not find the comb head. As I cut my hair outside, most of the time early in the morning. It is still dark outside. So I looked ad least four or maybe five times to find it. It was in the plant.
Hair will grow back and all will well okay.

On our way back to our homes.

I saw picture on the wall and thought it was kinda neat.

As we were heading back north. Janice was driving and she asked if I would like to see the swimming hole? Sure why not? So she drove down this side road and as we were pulling in, we saw this young lady throwing a ball in the water.

Her dogs really enjoyed swimming after it. Then coming back to the shore so she can do it again. Pretty dog too.

This is the swimming hole. The rock on the right hand side. That is the jumping rock. Janice told me that it drops off there and it is deep.
So we are on our way back to our homes.

As we were driving over the Seven Mile Bridge. You can see this tree standing there. Well as I was staying in Cudjoe Key, Janice told me a story about this tree.

He has his own Facebook page too.
I guess during Christmas time some people go out there and decoration him. I just thought that was kinda neat to share with you all.
If you don't know this, but there are two Seven Mile bridges.

As Sunday was winding down.

Janice saw a sign about a open house happening down the road were traveled. So we stopped and took a look. First of all There was no way I could even afford anything here. But as we walked around and checked it out. It was beautiful. The house was set up like a duplex. But has only on entrance. You walk up the steps and you are in, like a foyer. We walked around on the inside and everything was a mirror image on both sides.
So I asked Realtor if this is called a duplex? He told no, the reason was there is only one electric meter and water meter. Plus one entrance too.
Oh well I felt like I was wasting his time and mine. Which we were. But it was very nice.

Not sure if you saw the price on it????

Our last full day here on Cudjoe Key.

We started out on a trail. Then we saw this road called Blimp Road. So we rode on down.

This is why they call this Blimp Road. If you look you will see a white blimp. His name is Fat Albert. That is correct. Fat Albert.

This side road is the road to Fat Albert home.

Now as we rode off I turned around and saw His smaller brother. He doesn't have a name yet. But he is about 2/3 the size of Fat Albert. Now these two blimps are for the Air Force. The web page below might explain more?

We saw this on a guys mail box. Not sure what this is about?

So at the end of the trail there is this sign explaining the State Road 4 A is.

As we were riding back we saw this young lady riding a horse. She told us that she has a friend down that road that has horses. So it was kinda neat to see.

As we rode down US 1 a little way, saw this tug boat.
That was fun ride and I was not even tried out at all.
To the pool next.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
