I rode up to Vero Beach area. There are two bridges over to the island. I went over the first from my house. I think it is called the 17th Street Bridge. This was a little high up than I remember the last time. But by His grace I made it up and over. But still had to take a couple of pictures.
I now my beautiful face doesn't always make it to the blog. So this is a selfy in front of Mulligan's Restaurant on Vero Beach.
During the Hurricane named Matthew did a lot of damage to this board walk up here. It looks like it is all fixed up and ready for the Snowbirds.
I rode around in a park called Riverside. It is east of the Merril P Barber Bridge.
While there I just took a walk out to look at the boats going by. Then I turn around and saw this Ford pickup being pulled in by this guys' boat. I am not sure what happen. But I think he left it in neutral. So as he was gunning his engine to get off of the trailer. He pulled his truck into the water.
As people watched as I did, I felt helpless. All three of these truck didn't have a tow line to help this guy out. If I had my truck I have one of those in my tool box. I am sorry but as I am riding my bicycle. I really was no help.
Now going over this bridge was a little bit easier. I got over and rode to the Dollar Tree. This place I always stop to get a ice tea and maybe a snack too.
Okay I can help my potassium. These are bananas and chocolate. You know riding a long way, my legs sometimes get a little tight. Looking at the picture, they sure look good.
But as I open them up.Not looking that good at all. Hey it is $1.00. I ate a couple and throw the rest out. The ice tea hit the spot. Rode back home. It really was enjoyable ride.
