By looking at my calendar, I see this is the 18th of March.

We got up early and went over to the Camp office and saw Miss Tika. She has been here for many years. I am not sure if she left and came back or what. But she is still a cute as a button. She always has a beautiful smile and greets you with a big hug and how are you doing? She was one of our counselors. She would take the students on the train rides, walk around the petting farm. She pretty much did everything she was asked. She has been helping out at the Camp with Eldora and Camille since they don't have any children to give classes.

Jeanne and I started out heading south towards Lyford Cay. We stopped first at Coral Harbor. This a community, with beautiful homes and water in their back yards. They are like canals. Plus, the Bahamas Defense Force. They have a base down here too. The headquarters is in Nassau.
So, Jeanne and I walked down here and walk along the shore.

We stooped into a small store to see if they knew somewhere around her to eat breakfast. We just got a couple of waters and were on our way again.

Now while driving I saw a sign driving south again. Adelaide. This is where Tim and Felica used to live. They just renting a town house there. So, Jeanne asked if we could stop and walk along the beach again? Sure, we can.

My little girl found all kinds of driftwood and shells along the shore and even some in the water.
We stayed here for about hour or so. Then my baby picked up all kinds of things to bring home.

Now all these pieces of art were not all from this area. Jeanne and I got many pieces here, but these are things we found throughout our trip.
Hey just a heads up, Going to the airport, please make sure you check your bags that have shells in. The reason is these could be weapons on the plane. The sad part is, I never knew that and I guess my Lord was watching over me while I flew back and forward to and from the Bahamas. I know I never brought back these many pieces before. But it's okay, we had pay for carry-on bag to be checked in and put under the plane luggage.

The land you see here is Lyford Cay. Very rich and famous people live here. This is called Jaws Beach. I am not sure, but I think they filed some scenes here for one of the movies (JAWS)

I took these pictures earlier in the day. Before we left to go back to the camp. It was full of people.

Now this area is where the electric company is BEC. Bahamas Electric Company.

These old houses use to be used by slaves and their homes.

I have been visited here before while I lived here. You can walk around and see different thing here. Plus, they had a small restaurant and souvenirs for sale too. When I was part of the church plays, I used to walk around here and rehearse my lines. The last play I was in, I played a grandfather and I sad part is that is all I remember. I do remember the child that played my grandson was helping me with my lines back then.

This is Clifton Sacred Space. That is what that sign is saying. If I remember correctly, here is tree figures that look like the people that lived here, and it is a special tribute to them.

This is where the oil tankers and cement tankers come in and dock on these pontoons. Hook up their hoses and pump whatever they have brought here. I know back during I was here. The electric company used diesel #3. So here is how the fuels come and get to the contaminators hold it.

Driving back towards Jaws beach.

SEE JAWS BEACH IS REAL.

This is on Carmicheal going towards the north part of the island. Bacardi's had a Rum Factory down the road on the right-hand side. I think there is a fruit drink factory there now.
Well today was a very enjoyable time. We went to three or maybe four beaches today.
Just think we are only halfway thru our vacation. Many more places to visit.
I have been reading 1 Samuel this last weekend. Started out with chapter 16, This chapter is when Samuel Anoints David as King. Chapter 17 is When David kills Goliath. Chapter 18 is about how Saul becomes Jealous of David. King Saul has David marry his daughter. Saul has David kill and get the foreskins of 100 Philistines Chapter 19 is when Saul tries to kill David with his spear. Michal David wife saves him form Saul's men. Then after that King Saul is trying to kill him. Thinking David wants him dead. But not all. He knows God has made Saul King over Israel.  David runs away from King Saul. I will keep you all in the loop.
Folks while at church yesterday. Pastor Jim in in the book of Ephesians chapter 5:15 to 20. Right off the bat, be careful how you live, not as fools but aa those who are wise. (16) Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days. (17)  Don't act thoughtlessly but try to understand what the Lord wants you to do. (18)  Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the Holy Spirit fill and control you. (19) Then you will sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the Lord in your hearts. (20) And you always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Well i have shared many words of wisdom with you and pray you are listening to what He has to say.
I know there is a lot here, but Jesus Christ loves you and wants to talk with you.
