We had a car show here back in March.

Hey another friend sent me another joke. Enjoy

Holy Mail......

One day God was looking down at Earth and saw all of the rascally
behavior that was going on. So He called one of His angels and sent the
angel to Earth for a time.
When the angel returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are
misbehaving and only 5% are not.
God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a
second angel to get another opinion.'
So God called another angel and sent him to Earth for a time.
When that angel returned she went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true. The
Earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good.'
God was not pleased. So He decided to e-mail the 5% that were good,
because he wanted to encourage them, and give them a little something
to help them keep going.
Do you know what the e-mail said?
Okay. I was just wondering. I didn't get one either.

Enjoy, I get these and just love to laugh.

This about how to deal with LIFE, ENJOY

CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS ...

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus .'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33 Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
'If God is for us, who can be against us?'
(Romans 8:31)

This is a picture taken last year.

It is just I saying Hello.

This last week I have been battling the flue or something like it. It is no fun just lying around and sleeping. I have found for myself when I get this way, all I need to rest. Plus some orange juice and a couple cans of chicken soup. Hey I am not all the way as of today. But in His stenght I can do all things.
Okay let me tell you a little story about what is going on here. If you have read any of my blog in the last month or so. You know I have been praying about what is next in my future. This is what has happen since Thursday night. I received a call from my niece, Kathy, she was down in Boca to visit with her grandma, my step mom. During her time here Mom was taken to the hospital, reason is still not clear. Mom told me that she had a mild stork. Mean while during all that week no one called me to let me know. So now Kathy is on her way back to Rochester, NY. So she thought I should know about it. I called Florence, Mom, to ask her what happen, she just said she believes she had a mild stork and she is in nursing home now. Then she ask if my time here is up or not? I told her I was not sure. Now I called my sister Betsy, she tells me she needs to stay in that home for a couple of weeks. Then we can make plains on what can be done.
Now Friday morning, I was talking with David about what he thinks God is doing in his family lives now. He thinks his time here is done and they might go back to Pa and do something else there. He telling me about how God had to take all their things away, so they can be ready to move when He tells them to. Remember I told you all about how David and his family sold everything and move here with just a small amount of things.
Okay so NOW what is going on??????
I believe I am to stay here and just do my thing in maintenance and see what happens down the road. I just want you all to know how much I THANK YOU for your prayers and the ride of my life with Him.

This is one that is called Cabbage Beach.

Just stopping bye to say hello.

A couple of days ago, I received a note from a friend about what kids say adout how they remember what they learn in Sunday School. It sure was funny. This is just one that I got yesterday. I thought to pass it on to you guys.
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE . God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.
A child had written a note, "Take all you want. God is watching the apples."
Life is sooooooo short, I am asking each one out there to pray for someone today, parent, friend, a family member. Just do it and see what He does for them. Enjoy your day and just have a wonderful smile to share with others.

Last nights get together./ These are the ones helping.

Good afternoon all,

This is little things as us men did last night. We were all invited to Kinson's home for a little get together. Which that pretty much was it in a nut shell. We all got there and had some great food and then the talking started. They pretty much love talking about the PLP and FNM. These are the parties here that run this nation. Right now the FNM is in control for the next 4 and half years. I have talked about how and how the Bahamians people love these parties. But the guys came up with the junk that is going on now with the customs department. There is a small problem with some one changing the duty on some things and the Minister that is over seeing it has a family member in the mix. So it is some great talking and debating. But the evening ended well. All leaving to go home and just drop the talk like that.
Then this morning we all got together at the church for a Saturday Men's Bible study. Good turn out, not as many as last week, (20). But the guys that came out did their best. After that time some of us went out to the house we have been painting and cleaning since three months ago. I had a miss hap. I knock over two and half gallons of Off white paint on the brown carpet in one of the bedrooms. By God grace and friend willing to help we got it all up. Plus a shop vac from David my partner at the Centre. I have some GREAT NEWS, to all that have been out to help us. IT IS FINISHED. That is RIGHT IT IS FINISHED. Thank you so much for all that have been out to help us. I hope we take a break now until the next one. Enjoy your day and I hope all of you out there are doing well. Please let me know. I would love to hear from you.

These are the things I get to see each day!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to tell my friends and family.

I received this poem that is below today. These are just a couple of things I am trying to show and tell my friends. Life is SHORT and our time is running out. I just want you all to know that we need each other and the older you get how much more we need Jesus Christ. I have been dealing with idea that my time here is coming to a close, but He has not open any other doors. So I will seek His face and keep in prayer about it.
This is just one verse that I read this morning, Jame 3:17 - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (16) Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
So at this time I just want you all know that His Wisdom is needed in my heart and I will keep trying to seek it more each day.

This Poem is from a friend, Pass it on.

Around the corner I have a friend, In this great city that has no end, Yet the days go by and weeks rush on, And before I know it, a year is gone. And I never see my old friends face, For life is a swift and terrible race, He knows I like him just as well, As in the days when I rang his bell. And he rang mine but we were younger then, And now we are busy, tired men. Tired of playing a foolish game, Tired of trying to make a name. Tomorrow' I say! 'I will call on Jim Just to show that I'm thinking of him.' But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes, And distance between us grows and grows. Around the corner, yet miles away, Here's a telegram sir,' ' Jim died today.' And that's what we get and deserve in the end. Around the corner, a vanished friend. Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone, tell them. Don't be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when you decide that it is the right time it might be too late.
Seize the day. Never have regrets And most importantly, stay close to your friends and family, for they have helped make you the person that you are today.

This is the first thing I saw when I came that day.

It is just so neat to be here.

Some days I look at the things I am doing here and wonder why. I go back into my files of pictures and just remember. The picture that is above is just one. I love taking pictures and just remembering I am here and this is my home for now. I thank Him each day and just reflex back. Just to let you all know I have been here now almost three (3) years ago, June 2 2005. The only reason I remember the date is, it was Fun Day, Water Mania. The day before I flew in and the next one was driving a truck around filling up large water containers. I knew that day I was right where I was to be.
So now I am wondering if my time here is coming to a end or not. I still love doing the things I am doing. But some days I believe He is calling me out of here. He has not said anything to me, but just to trust Him and walk in His ways.
Last night we had a time of called, After Glow. Pastor Jeff Buck over saw it. What is a After Glow Service you ask? It is a time to praise our Lord and sing songs of joyful noise. Then ask if there is any one that has a verse to share. Well it seem like every one up there had some thing to share. It really was a good time. The verse that came to my mind was Isaiah 61:1 to 4. These verses were given to me 9 years ago. They talk about how He is with us and how we need to do what he wants from us. I will share more next time.
I just want what he wants.

This is just one day in His courts.

Looking at this place it is as big as it looks.

Hey I am trying to put the counter back on.

I long time ago I use to have a counter on my blog just to see if anyone was checking it out. So I have tried a couple of ways to get it back on. Now I have it but it is not where I want it to be. So for now this is where it will stay until I figure it out or someone can show me how to move it.
This last week end was a good time of resting and just chilling out. Saturday had the men's study. there was 20 guys there. Boy this is so exciting to see all these guys. You s out there just don't understand, you get together and pray and talk and just fellowship. To get guys to come together is very rare. Most the time is during sports or doing something. To get 20 guys in one room to study God's Word!!!!!!!. That is one for the books. We are going through a book about, How to control your mind. You all can just imagine how many troubles we have as men about this. Then after the study 5 guys went out to the house we have been working at for the last two and half months. Painting and fixing up. We are all pretty much tried for working on this place. So this next Saturday we have decided this should be the last one. I know I have told you all this before and but every time we go out. We see more things to repair. I hope to share some pictures this coming week on all that has been done.

It sure is neat to see the Body come togther.

There is a sister that is in need here.

Last week Susan and David, maint, gave me a ticket for a cook out. I know they told me that it would cost them to much to pay for all of their family to eat there. So they thought of me and just gave it to me. I went there yesterday to collect my food. I ask the people there what was this for? One woman told me that a young lady, Michel Russel was in a car miss hap back in 2005. She needed a lot of things repaired in her little body. So the cost have been going through the roof for doctors and bills. So they decide to have a cook out and try to raise some money. The way it was going while I was there was neat. People just kept on coming and going. The food was great, chicken and your chose of side orders. It was really some good food. I just want to pass this on to all of you about how many people in this world are trying to make ends meet. Please keep her in your prayers and let us see how GOOD OUR LORD IS.

Just a small note.

The Logos II left for the Camen Islands yesterday. I was sitting home last night after our church service, up in the barn. Wondering how far they are. I was told it will take about three (3) days to get there. The ship can only go about 4 to 6 knots. I am missing them already. Please keep them in prayer and if you want to hear about them here is their web page.
Please feel free to check out all they do. Plus most of all is keep them in prayer.

These are some more pictures of the ship Logos II

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

A lot of things are arding us today to rob us of our peace. If we turn on the news on TV or open up the newspaper, it's easy to become afraid and get into a panic mode.So how do we fight that fear? With faith. Romans 12:3 says that God has given every person a measure of faith. We are either going to believe something positive or something negative. If we believe we are going to go under, guess where we are going? Under! But if we put our faith in positive things, then there is hope for a positive outcome. In Mark 11:22 Jesus said, Have faith. But He didn't stop there. He said, Have faith in God. That means we have a choice: we can either put our faith in the world's message of fear or in God's words of hope.Faith is an energy to be used. So what are you using your faith for? Are you using it to reinforce the idea that awful things are bound to happen? Or are you taking that energy and using it to believe that good things are ahead?Instead of allowing yourself to be consumed with worry about what's going on in the world, choose to mentally take a posture of faith and stand on this one tiny Scripture which says, Have faith in God. It's only four little words, but the power of Jesus Christ backs up every one of those words!
My Declaration of Faith for Today
I refuse to let fear overtake me; instead, I believe that God has good things in store for me.

What a GREAT gift IDEA....

Rick was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary.

His wife was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning,

I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less than 10 seconds, AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!"

The next morning Rick got up early and left for work

When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.

Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Rick has been missing since Friday. Please pray for him--____________________________________________________________

This is just one part of the book store.

This my friend that I am talking about below.

Hey everyone,

Well my friends from the Logos II will be leaving this port and heading south. I really do want to say thank you very much to all of the crew. Every time I went on the ship I felt the love of Christ and the fellowship that He brings to family. These students and staff and even crew have a lot on their plates. I will just share a small story about two nights ago. I got the ship around 6pm and walked around up stairs in the book store. I looked and the place looked like a went off. There was books pretty much every where they don't belong. I looked a little more and I asked God to give me a easy job that night. Reason I have been straightening the books out each night and just trying to stay ahead of the consumers. But that night I was very tried. By reading the blog under this one you can see all we worked on the last couple of days at the Centre. So my God showed up and one of the staff ask me to help a young lady out that was working the gang plank. That is the place people come a board and then depart on the same stairs. So I had a great time helping her out. I know I am spelling her name wrong, she can correct me if she reads this. I called her Raychel. She has such a great smile and you can see it right above here. She is one of the crew that over sees the paper work and things that need to get done on the ship. Just the time we had I really did enjoy. I know our Lord has been using her and He will bless her. I really do want to say thank you again Lord for this time and just ask that He will bless this crew.
I hope to keep in touch with them and I will keep you all in the loop.

Hello and hello to everyone.

I am so glad you guys stop by to say hello and checking out my blog. I just want to share this week-end with you all. Hey Friday was a day I could have stayed home and did nothing. Reason is things just didn't go well at all. David and I tried to get some things done. The back hoe stopped running, reason the fuel line was plugged up with some junk. So we took it apart and tried to put it back together again. During that time we ran into a problem, the brass treads on the tank were striped and just would not stop leaking. So that day was shot. Notice one of the train wheels, there was only one stud holding the wheel on. There is using 6 studs. So that was out service too.
Saturday I ran around and got the parts we needed.
Came in Monday morning and saw the Jungle bus parked in the grass area, it was towed in Sunday. It stopped running. Okay, then Jen Mingo came up and told us the World Bus had a flat tyre. So now we come and by His grace we have the will and strenght to do His work here. Got the Jungle bus running again, ran out of fuel, the gauge was not working. Then we started out with the back hoe. Repaired, the the World bus flat, fixed. The train done. Then we had some time left and we put up the wall that Pastor Chet wanted done three months ago. That to Him be the GLORY and in Him we can do IT ALL. Thank you LORD for this day and look forward in seeing today ventures. I pray that you all have a wonderful day and MAY HE BLESS YOU TOOOOOOOOO.
