I am getting ready to drive tomorrow, morning.

Yesterday I had a great meeting with Lysa and Pastor Jym at Calvary Chapel, Ft. Laud. Fl. They ask asked some questions and then I asked them and we are pretty much on the same page. We will see what our Lord has in His plans.
Later on I had a chance to have some time with a good friend,Rose. We went to my favor place Char Hut, got somewhat caught up a lot of tings that has happen in this last year. After a nice hamburger and onion rings and drink, we went to the movies. The movie What IF???? It really was a good and clean movie. If you want to see God's hand on someone live, CHECK this movie out. It really tugged on my heart and all the tings He has asked me to do, What IF? The real sad part was there was only one more other couple there in this big theater. We went to the Saw Grass. Man I have never been to the movies there. Big place. 14 showing places. Like I said pas this on to your friends about this movie, by looking I really don't think it will last to long in the theater. Go and see it!!!!!
Got back to the place I am staying at. Got to bed and just had a lot of trouble sleeping. I got up at 4am showered and went a 24 hour Laundry. My clothes are all clean again. I only brought a couple of shorts and t shirts. I have bought used clothes at, Good Will and Faith Farms. The picture above is a shirt I got at FF. Only a $1.00.
This morning I went to a Bible study and it was good. Pastor Jym taught on James 4:7, I don't have my Bible right now. I will read about what we talked about later.
Today I get a chance to have lunch with a couple I have know for many years. Missy and John.
Tomorrow I will be driving to Tampa to see my family. I really am looking forward in seeing them.

Monday, August 30, 2010

These are a couple of things I have been doing.

The first picture is a old friends, Charlie, Julie and Louse. I have known these friends for over 14 years. I was part of their Bible study and we use to do a lot of things together. I spent Sunday after noon just sitting around and getting caught up a little. They are doing well and it sure was nice to just talk to them.
The next pictures you see are at a park in Coconut Creek Park. Look at the sign above, It saids no animals aloud in park. You see just in ten mintues sitting there two families with dog walked right by the sign and not even think about what it said.
Then the last of pictures are of the guys I work along side at Adventure Learning Centre. Ed is the one on the left side, Andrew next to him. Ed is the one that set this up to tile the floor in our Media Centre. It sure is going to be nice at the end. We have had carpet in that room since they started this place. The carpet so worn out. So this tile is a blessing and will be easy to take care of it.
Okay I am here in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I have been staying at Dennis and Donna's home in Deerfeild Beach, Fl. I am sorry but I don't think about pictures when we are just sitting around and talking or even watching TV. I promise I will get one or two before I leave.
Now my plan is to drive up to Tampa on Wednesday morning and spend some time with my cousins. I really am looking forward in seeing them. It has been since my dad's funeral (2002) I have seen them.

hey here are some pictures not sure what one is first.

I Refuse to BE Discourageed

I refuse to be discouraged,
To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted,
And here's the reason why...

I have a God who's mighty,
Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me,
And I am on His team.

He is all-wise and powerful,
Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable,
My God remains the same,

My God knows all that's happening;
Beginning to the end,
His presence is my comfort,
He is my dearest friend.

When sickness comes to weaken me,
To bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God;
Into His arms I go.

When circumstances threaten
To rob me from my peace;
He draws me close unto His breast,
Where all my strivings cease.

And when my heart melts within me,
And weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms,
He soothes my heart and soul.

The great "I AM" is with me,
My life is in His hand,
The "Son of God" is my hope,
It's in His strength I stand.

I refuse to be defeated,
My eyes are on my God
He has promised to be with me,
As through this life I trod.

I'm looking past all my circumstances,
To Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God,
I'm resting in His love.

I give God thanks in everything,
My eyes are on His face;
The battle's His, the victory's mine;
He'll help me win the race.

Priest's Retirement Dinner

A Priest was being honoured at his retirement dinner after 25 years in the parish. A leading local politician and member of the congregation was chosen to make the presentation and to give a little speech at the dinner.

However, he was delayed, so the Priest decided to say his own few words while they waited:

'I got my first impression of the parish from the first confession I heard here. I thought I had been assigned to a terrible place. The very first person who entered my confessional told me he had stolen a television set and, when questioned by the police, was able to lie his way out of it. He had stolen money from his parents, embezzled from his employer, had an affair with his boss's wife, taken illegal drugs, and sold his sister's jewelery to buy a gun. I was appalled.

But as the days went on I learned that my people were not all like that and I had, indeed, come to a fine parish full of good and loving people.'....

Just as the Priest finished his talk, the politician arrived full of apologies at being late. He immediately began to make the presentation and gave his talk:

'I'll never forget the first day our parish Priest arrived,' said the politician. 'In fact, I had the honour of being the first person to go to him for confession.'

Moral : Never, Never, Never Be Late....

I just received this form a friend Please take the time asnd read it.

Found it! Isn't this shocking?

WELCOME TO AMERICA.

Sent out first by a former NYPD SWAT team member.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE - IT IS HAPPENING!!!

This is an accurate picture of every Friday afternoon in several
locations throughout NYC where there are mosques with a large
number of Muslims that cannot fit into the mosque - They fill the
surrounding streets, facing east for a couple of hours between
about 2 & 4 p.m. - Besides this one at 42nd St & Madison Ave,
there is another, even larger group, at 94th St & 3rd Ave, etc.,
etc. - Also, I presume, you are aware of the dispute over building
another "high rise" Mosque a few blocks from "ground zero" -
With regard to that one, the "Imam" refuses to disclose where the
$110 million dollars to build it is coming from and there is a lawsuit
filed to force disclosure of that information.

This is in New York City on Madison Avenue, not in
France or the Middle East or Yemen or Kenya.

It sure has been a busy week around here.

I am not sure why but our Cable Bahamas goes out almost every other day here at the Centre. This is our main inter net user. That is why for the last week I have not been able to log in the put up some pictures and stories. You know how much I enjoy doing that.
Okay first tings first, The sign below is just a reminder about our tongue. It sure can praise our Lord BUT in the same breath we curse Him. The tongue talked about in the Book of James in the Bible. I believe this Book is my favor of all of the great Books that have been written, in the Bible. I sometimes don't realize how easy it is to gossip about others, Then how do we response when someone calls us out on the carpet. Just think before you speak next time.
Yes Thursday didn't start out to good. I was drive down the road and looked right into this guys eyes and said I don't think he see me? So right after that I felt this bump in the back end. This name is John Bain, really seems like a nice guy. We went down and did all the paper work at the police station. Boy that was a time to reflex and say help Lord. We were there for over a hour or so. Afterward Mr Bain called his friend that runs a body shop here on the island. He came out and said no problem, just have to find a tail light first. Well that afternoon I called around, no tail light on this island. I will be going over to Ft.Laud this Thursday so I can pick one up.
The next picture is a old friend named Frankin Garderen. I have know him for many years while here. We went for a drive on Saturday and visit some family members. The picture shows this is his sister, Pearl. Every time we have been there to visit she has always come out the stand there and they get caught up a little on all that has been going on in the rest of the family.

This is just one to the signs that you see around this place.

I had a fender bender, Thursday

This is Pearl and Frankin Gardener.

This is a story about a gentlemen that lives at the All Saints Camp, here in Nassau

Well friends, back from another amazing week in the Bahamas. Our team of 23 was stretched in many ways, but most important, there were 3 new converts and 5 baptisms. Heaven is having a party!!!!
I wanted to share with you all something that I took home with me the 2 weeks I was there.
My family of 5 arrived in Nassau on July 29. We had a special date set aside that Friday to take out one of the residents to the beach. Garvin Ward had been waiting for this day for a few months. He has not been to the beach in over a year and he was really looking forward to this day. We were all so excited to have him out and about.
We went to his room that morning and he was ready and waiting in his swim trunks. He kicked his legs around and gave a smile that could outshine the brightest star. Let's go to Goodmans Bay he said. We picked him up and wheeled him out to the car, and off we went. He was laughing and smiling the whole way. Michael Jackson's song Human Nature was on the radio and Garvin kept singing why why all the way down Gladstone road. We were all entertained. I thought he sung it way better than Michael.
We arrived at the beach and put Garvin in his chair. I turned to grab sun block for him and within 15 seconds, Garvin slipped off the chair and fell almost under water. We were all scared including Garvin. We picked him up and wheeled him out to the water in his wheelchair. He could not sit up in his beach chair, but the wheelchair seemed to work for him.
Though this was only a split second, Garvin showed that he was stressed. He was scared that he could have drowned, and he did not look like he was having a good time at that moment.
During this time I sat with Garvin and tried to calm things down for him, and wouldn't you know, God had sent an angel to do just that. A seven year old girl walked up to us and stared at Garvin. She was looking at him and wondering why his body was disfigured the way it was. She then asked.......why is he like that? I started to speak, but Garvin wanted to answer the question. He said .....I have Cerebral Palsy. The little girl was sent from God. She said to Garvin...You were made perfect. God is going to make a miracle in your life. I know it because He just told me so. Garvin smiled and said to the little girl........you just made my day, what is your name? The little girl said, my name is Candy, and I am going to church this week to pray just for you.
This little girl named Candy made a huge impact on our day. Just when Garvin needed a touch from God, He sent Candy, and gave Garvin just what he needed to get through the rest of his day.
I imagine that God sends people like Candy our way each day. Are we listening, or are we missing our blessing?
God is so good!!! Look for your Candy that God is sending each and every day.

Love and blessings,

Colleen Colella

I am so excedied to see below.

This last summer two guys came over here to video tape our place. While here they video ALC and ALC Camp, plus a shot of All Saints Camp too, The woman holding up her hands to praise Jesus is Miss Moxey. She has been at the ASC now for many years. Every time I go over that way, I have to stop in and see her. She has no way of getting around, except a wheel chair, but every time she is saying praises to God and Jesus Christ. I look at her and ask God when I feel alone or upset about anything, PLEASE let Your Name be praised, just like Miss Moxey.
I so glad to be able to show now to my friends and family all we do here at the ALC. I know my picture was not in there, but there were a lot of people that have worked so hard and their pictures were not in there ether.
I am so blessed to say and be part of this ministry. We have been told that this video will be shown on our TV stations here in the Bahamas. So my prayer is we can get more folks out here to help us and be blessed too.
Starting this fall we will be short many staff members. The reason is we all have been called to service Him and when our time is up. We move on to the next step that He wants. So maybe God has been tugging on your heart to be a missionary???????

ALC PROMO FINAL REVIEW COPY

Monday, August 09, 2010

You have to love this doctor's ways.

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it like saying you extend life of car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take nap.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that mean they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Bottom up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have body and you have fat, your ratio one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No pain...good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food are fried these day in vegetable oil. In fact, they permeated by it. How could getting more vegetable be bad for you?!?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only be doing sit-up if you want bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy?!? HEL-LO-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable! It best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for your figure, explain whale to me..

Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!
Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

And remember:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

AND.....

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans..

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Remember being 6 years old? No I don't

1stgrade school teacher had twenty-six students
in her class. She presented each child in her
classroom the 1st half of a well-known proverb and
asked them to come up with the remainder of the
proverb. It's
hard to believe these were actually done by first
graders. Their insight may surprise you.
While reading, keep
in mind that
these are first-graders,
6-year-olds, because
the last one is a classic!

The Brick Please read this and think about how God does love us.

Read this today and don't delete it even if you are too busy!! You'll see..
A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.. He was
watching for kids darting out from between parked
cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.
As his car passed, no children appeared.Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.
The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting,
'What was that all about and who are you? Just what
the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why
did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic.
'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't
know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the
brick because no one else would stop....' With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth
pointed to a spot just around a parked car.. 'It's my
brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell
out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help
me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and
he's too heavy for me.'
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling
lump in his throat.. He hurriedly lifted the
handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took
out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless
you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too
shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy!
push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk
toward their home..
It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very
noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair
the dented side door. He kept the dent there to
remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life
so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and
speaks to our hearts Sometimes when we don't have
time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's
our choice to listen or
not.
Thought for the
Day:
If God had a
refrigerator, your picture would be on
it. If He had a wallet,
your photo would be in
it.
He sends you flowers
every spring.
He sends you a sunrise
every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about
you!
God didn't promise
days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun
without rain, but He did promise strength for the
day, comfort for the tears, and light for the
way.

If God brings you to
it, He will bring you through
it.

So you think being a missionary is BORING

Just take a look below and see all the neat tings God does in my life each week. Some times not the greatess. But over all I have a ball here. I can work all week long and at the end of the day I crash in bed by 8pm, after, our news here. I thank my God each and every day I am still on this earth. I have told you this before. When I go to bed I lay my head down and I know I can say I have done my best that day. I sleep so well, except when I got to get up and visit that other room a couple of times during the night, (bathroom) I am so blessed to live on this island and to work during the week and say I am taking Saturday off and going for a bike ride. Plus if I do have a rough day I drive down to the beach and look around and say thank you Lord for letting me be here and enjoy this place you have made for us. Like you can see below how some things just are a pain, (flat tyres) But I can get back home and relax and just chill. Yesterday I promised a young lady to help her out. After the ride and feeding the animals I really was not in the mood to do some work. I took shower and drove over to her home and picked her and then picked up another young lady and then I went to Star Bucks for a kick. I got one and boy did that make my day. We spend the day doing some shopping and then picked up her daughter and had pizza. Just turned out to be a great and wonderful day with friend ship and just knowing I have friends like them. God has taking me a long ways and He is still is working me through it all.

Nice bike ride, but had two (2) FLATS.Not that good.

A real rough Friday. Our phone system went out all day long.

Just a quit story.

Like I was talking about Harri below. He has a full time job over seeing a paint store here, called The Paint Place. I would see Harri at church and he told me a while back if I needed his help on any thing, give him a shout. Which I did a while back. So Harri has been a really blessing for me and just to have someone to talk with during the hot part of the day is SOOOOO neat. You know he could just stay home and do some thing around is house or even just chill. But he comes out and works are along side me, Fridays.
Harri's wife Carol is going in couple of weeks to get her wrist work on, so please if you think of her, say a pray or two.

I am sooooo BLESSED to have agood friend named Harri

We sure have been having a lot of trouble with our traffic lights here

Smart woman and very smart woman.

A: Excuse me sir, may I talk to you?

B: Sure, come on in. What can I do for you?

A: Well sir, as you know, I have been an employee of this prestigious firm for over ten years.

B: Yes.

A: I won't beat around the bush. Sir, I would like a raise. I currently have four companies
after me and so I decided to talk to you first.

B: A raise? I would love to give you a raise, but this is just not the right time.

A: I understand your position, and I know that the current economic downturn has had a negative impact on sales, but you must also take into consideration my hard work, pro- activeness and loyalty to this company for over a decade.

B: Taking into account these factors, and considering I don't want to start a brain drain, I'm willing to offer you a ten percent raise and an extra five days of vacation time. How does that sound?

A: Great! It's a deal! Thank you, sir!

B: Before you go, just out of curiosity, what companies were after you?

A: Oh, the Electric Company, Gas Company, Water Company and the Mortgage Company!

Go Gitcha Momma

A redneck family from the hills was visiting the city and they were in a

mall for the first time in their lives. The father and son were

strolling around while the wife shopped. They were amazed by almost

everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that

could move apart and then slide back together again.

The boy asked, 'Paw, what's at?' The father (never having seen an

elevator) responded, 'Son, I dunno. I ain't never seen anything like

that in my whole life, I ain't got no idea'r what it is.

While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old

lady in a wheel chair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a

button. The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small

room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small

circular number above the walls light up sequentially. They continued to

watch until it reached the last number and then the numbers began to

light in the reverse order. Then the walls opened up again and a

gorgeous, voluptuous 24 year-old blonde woman stepped out.

The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his

son..........

'Boy...................go gitcha Momma............. ?

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.

This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
