Just think of how Satan is out there.

The Duck and the Devil

There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods; but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed back for dinner. As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head and killed it. He was shocked and grieved! In a panic, he hid the duck in the wood pile; only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said nothing. After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes" But Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen." Then she whispered to him,” Remember the duck?" So Johnny did the dishes. Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper.” Sally just smiled and said, "Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to help." She whispered again, "Remember the duck?" So Sally went fishing and Johnny stayed to help. After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's; he finally couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug and said, "Sweetheart, I know.” You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing. But because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you would let Sally make a slave of you.” Thought for the day and every day thereafter: Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done... the devil keeps throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt, fear, bad habits, hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.)...whatever it is...You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the whole thing. He has seen your whole life. He wants you to know that He loves you and that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness; He not only forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are saved. Go ahead and make the difference in someone's life today. Share this with a friend and always remember: God is at the window! When Jesus died on the cross; he was thinking of you!

These are my good friends, The Roths'

Helo to all of my family and freinds

I have someone special to tell you about. Their names are Dan, Natalie, Hannah and Danny. This family has been serving here at the ALC for the last four (4) years. They came from the west part of Florida and believed called the Islands of the Bahamas. They first went to Cat Island to help out the Halls. The Halls were running a Christian orphanage. While there Dan heard about ALC and came over to check it out. While here he fell in love and pulled his family together and decided to serve here after their time on Cat Island. So this place has been very blessed and thankful for his time and all that his family put into here at the ALC. So now he believes they are called to go to Hungry and serve there now. They left here Friday May 28, 2007. Their plans are to stay in Florida for a little while and then go up north to PA.,where they are from. They will stay there until their flight leaves for Hungry in first part of Aug. So at this time I just want everyone know how our Lord uses people for a season and then they are called out to another one. THANK YOU Dan and family for all you guys have done and I know we all will miss you very much. So folks if you think of them keep them in prayer and I know God will use them mightily.

Check this out.

All these examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap;
it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are....
You will be really shocked by the last one!!!!
(At least, I was.)
Compared with Gasoline......
Think a gallon of gas is expensive?
This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 ... $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ........$9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 .... $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 . $33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ... $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ....... . $25.42 per gallon Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .....$84.48 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER...Evian water 9 oz $1.49. $21.19 per gallon! $21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source.
(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)
Ever wonder why printers are so cheap?
So they have you hooked for the ink. Someone calculated the cost of the ink at you won't believe it....but it is true......$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)
So, the next time you're at the pump,
be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil
or God forbid, Printer Ink!!!!!
Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump...
And - If you don't pass this along to at least one person,
your muffler will fall off!!

Do you know anyone that might need a car ??

Hey our neighbors dropped by.

I am sorry to say, yes they have been back. They broke out the front windshield and went through the glove box last week. So this week was the need for a radio and the (both ) side mirrors. Folks I really not sure what we need to do to stop them. The police came and took finger prints and pictures. This problem is starting to get out of hand. It is the question what will be next? We as a staff have talked about cameras, guard dogs and even hire a security company. This all takes money that we don't have to spend. The cameras go for $2000. 00, the dog could cost $ 1500.00, then the guard would be even more. I have talked with other people that have had the same problems. Everyone said about the same. The things you are loosing, are they worth putting that kind of money into it. I believe maybe the cameras are the best idea. The dog could be poisoned, the guard way too much money. So if anyone out there has a idea, please pass it on to me so we can stop it now. We all know prayer is the main focus and He can do it all. Thank you again.

I have found away around getting pictues to my blog

It sure is some more work, but now I can send pictures to my blog. The only way is to e mail them to myself and use someone else computer to down load them too and then send them to my blog. I really not sure why my computer is not working right. I have sent three e mails to the people that over see the picture area. They have told me they just are not sure why I can not do it. So for now this is my only way. I pray you have a wonderful day and may He be praise in your life.

Hey folks I am sorry for not writing sooner. This last week has been a busy one. You might not all know this, but Pastor Dan, my boss, has decide to move to Hungry (spelling) So this last week I have been on my own. We got our self a new roommate and then Sunday two guys from Pa. came in. The roommate name is Edward. He is from New Jersey. Really nice guy and loves the Lord. Gray and Garnette from Pa. they came in to work on our new bath house, plus another famly home. With needed to be redone. The plumber before now just didn't have a clue on what we wanted and did his own thing. So we needed to tare out the old pipe and relay it. Boy it sure was a big job and the neat thing is it even looks like the plains show. Is that not some good news. I wish I could send some pictures but my computer is not letting me do that. I have asked for help from the people that do the picture thing. They have told me to do this and that. But sorry to say still no go. So maybe by next week we can send them. I know that it is a big thing you all love to see. I know it is not my writing you look for. Pictures are so good in showing what I am trying to say. So pray that I can start sending pictures again next week. Okay I need to get going now and I will keep you all in the loop. May our Lord bless your weekend and just have some fun. Bye.

Hey you guys, will not beleive this one????

Last Saturday night, a group of us from the ALC staff. We all went to a place called the Rainforest. At this place we had a chance to listen to an orchestra. The name of them is The Bahamas Concert Orchestra. They performed, ‘The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace’. I really did enjoy the time to relax and just listen to some great works. We actual had a couple of friends performing in it. Laura Dannek played a French horn. Violin II was played by three s that go to Calvary Bible and even play there during services. I was very impress with all that was taken place. I really enjoyed this woman named Martine Cardinal (Violin Leader) she was having a lot of fun. Just by watching her, if she was standing I believe she would have been dancing while playing. She was incredible. I would love to get one of her cds to listen to one of these days. So don’t laugh, it was a great night and I felt right at home getting dressed up a little. I am looking forward to hear them perform in Aug. 2007.
Sorry to say I am having trouble sending pictures again to this blog.

Hey remember I told you I would tell you about the Unity Home?

Hi, these are some the people that live here at the Unity House. I have the honor each and every Thursday to go in and do a Bible study. It is so neat to be able to read to them and ask questions. At first I use to read a chapter, example, Book of James. I would read a couple of verses and then go to other places of the Bible where the you can relate to what he was saying. Example: In verse 1 James is calling himself a Bond servant. So you go to Deuteronomy 15:16. Which this area is talking about what a slave that has gotten free from his master and he would love to stay and still work for him. So now by doing this he has become a bond servant. While doing it this way I was loose them and they just would listen but never ask questions. I was talking over their heads. So now I use this Children Bible (with pictures) and read one area and then ask questions. It has been a learning excepts for me.
The sad part about all this is, they sit under this carport all day long. There is no TV, they have a stero now. But most of the time they just sit and sleep around on the sofas. So I am asking for prayer, that more people would come and visit them and even take some of them out for a ride or whatever. Well I need to get going now. Bye

Brothers in Christ working together.

Hello all. About three weeks ago we started working on this roof at the Untiy House. By looking at the first picture you can see how much water damage there was. But we at Calvary Bible got together and decided to come in and repair their roof. By God grace and moneys we got the job done. There is a still some other work needed there, but adleast we finished the carport that they sit under each and everyday of the week. I will be sending other pictures on the people next time. Please enjoy this day and reflex on all the things we have and the ones that don't.

This is before we came in and did the repair.

We have a new look at the Camp

About three weeks ago, the students of Patmos and staff here worked on a neat project. We were to fix up the area that is in front of the cabins and the job went well. By looking at the old cabin area and the new. It is amazing what a little grass and rock can do to change a look. So when you guys get over here, I think you will really enjoy the new look. There are other things that are going on too. I will show you those picture the next time. Please keep us in prayer.

Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
