I dropped Kevin off at Star Bucks and I went for a ride.

Last night I dropped Kevin of at Star Bucks. The reason was Richard from Camp Bahamas had a small gathering. Just to see how the campers are doing and have some games and fun together.
During that time I could not see myself driving back home and then back to pick him up. So I drove down Sherlly Street and saw this sign, that has been here since I have been: Protect Ya Ting. Then just went down to a beach where the ships coming into port. Sat there and relaxed and just enjoyed watching the small waves come in and people swimming.
I am so blessed to be able to work all day and then take a ride a couple of miles away and see this. I thank my Lord each day. So many people come here and spend big buck to see what I can see every day of the year.

Hey get a chance take a look about a month ago how small these guys were.

Most of the lambs and baby goats have little horns now.
Now the last picture is my son, he doesn't have any horns? My prayer is He will not ever get them.
These pictures were took on Sunday morning while we are feeding them all. I just look at them and say wow they are getting so big now.

Take a look at how fast these guys are growing up

Money we did't think we would have to spend this again?

Yes the air compressor on the Media Centre air cond unit. Yes back in June of 2010 we had this replace for $1200.00 then. This one was still $1200.00 again. The guy that was working on it (owner of the company) told me that there could be many reasons why the unit burned out. He tested it out and found nothing really wrong with electric or any thing else. I guess there really is nothing else to do but replace it. The reason is school starts up on Sept 3, next week.
We need it and it is working great again.

All is well here in the Nassau Bahamas

Hey if you have been watching any thing about the storm Isaac. You might have thought that we got hit a little. We are still feeling the wind gust (20 miles) but over all really nothing more than that. Yesterday Kevin and I went to church. It was not raining that hard. But our church was about a third full. I know Bahamains are not to keen on rain. You know mess up your hair or some thing like that.
Over all while Kevin and I were feeling the animals yesterday morning, really didn't see any problems. Limbs down, but over all pretty good shape.
I have heard that there are two more storms out there as I write. Our Lord has blessed us over and over again. Please keep us in prayer if they start moving towards us. Remember we are only a island. .

The reason you have not seen that much on my blog is. The last couple of weeks we really have not done that much work. You know repair this or that. But no really projects happening. I hope to just work around ALC property today and get a couple of items fixed.
This two weeks we start training the new staff and get ready for the school to open up. It quit this time of the year. Trying to get the schools signed up. Plus school will not open until Sept 3rd. So this week is just figuring out what we  need to do to be ready.
I was talking with Mark last week and he wants to build a new stage for the puppets. He has this idea to build a tree fort and use the limbs for the puppets to talk from. It sounds like a great idea. Now we need to figure out how to build it and just go with it.

I would love to hear what every one think as to say about the new blog lay out. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think. I like it because you can go to any picture and see what happen that day. This way if you have not been watching this much. You can go back and see this or that.

Please take a minute and read this

Why me God?

Just a great reminder that God knows what He's doing.  There are so many miracles every day that we don't see.  We just need to trust Him.

This is PRECIOUS!!!!!...short and sweet...

A different perspective can be such a blessing.

God, can I ask you a question?

God: Sure.

Me: Promise you won't get mad.

God: I promise.

Me: Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do you mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late.

God: Yes.

Me: My car took forever to start.

God: Okay.

Me: At lunch they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait.

God: Huummm.

Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call.

God: All right.

Me: And on top of it all, when I got home I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massager and relax, but it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning and I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.

Me: (humbled): OH...

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.

Me: (embarrassed): Ok...

God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false information, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me: (softly) I see God.

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I'm sorry God.

God: Don't be sorry, just learn to trust me.....in all things, the good and the bad.

Me: I will trust you.

God: And don't doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your  plan.

Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.

God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God, and I love looking after my children.

Resend if you believe in HIM. May God Bless and Keep You Safe

Had a big water problem in the Camp house.

During the Summer months I kept hearing the pump run on and on. I really wa not sure where the water was going? The reason I say that is, we had campers here and every one was using the water.
So after the that last campers left. I just turned off the water every where and found the Camp house was the problem. Now where was it leaking? Mark, Tim and myself came up with replacing the cold side. That is what Tim and I did yesterday. It works great. No more pump running on and on. Plus it does not look that bad. Today i need to finish it up. You know strap the pipes down and just clean up..

BY A 15 yr. OLD SCHOOL KID who got an A+ for this entry

(TOTALLY AWESOME)!
Since the Pledge of Allegiance
And
The Lord's Prayer
Are not allowed in most
Public schools anymore
Because the word 'God' is mentioned.....
A kid in Arizona wrote the attached
NEW School prayer:
"New Pledge of Allegiance"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene..
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all..
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks...
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong..
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles..
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen
If you aren't ashamed to do this, Please pass this on..
Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'
I had a wonderful day yesterday, went half way around the island of Nassau
Thursday morning I left my place around 9am. Started out riding from ALC to Goodman Bay. Then rode on to down town Nassau. You can see I took a lot of pictures. It is so neat to see the way I do as I ride. Plus you can see how the cars like to come close to you while riding a 18 speed bicycle. It sometimes get a little scarey. The reason is drivers are not always watching out for you. One example yesterday. Getting ready to enter a round about. The girl didn't look my way. If I didn't stop. she would have rode over the top of me.
From Goodman Bay, riding down Bay Street, seeing the stores and the New Straw market, plus a horse cart too. Then going along you can see Paradise Island on your left. Then Potter's Cay. I stopped at Harbor Bay Shopping Centre for a sub at Bahamas's Sub Shop. From there went in the area of Fort Montagu, pass the fish vendors along Eastern Road and Village. You get going along and just enjoy the sites of the homes and the shore lines. Got all the way out to Eastern Point, around the the corner of McPherson's Bend. There is a lovely cove there, where Bahamians go swimming. Now you are on Yamacraw road. Still riding along you can see the Fox Hill Prison on your right hand side. Just keep on going and now I was on Joe Farrington Road. Now in Sea Breeze. Looking a map I see there is no road signs, so I call this area Pinewood. I am getting closer home, about three miles away.
I got back home in 2 hours and 20 minutes. It was a great time to pray and ask God different questions. I was ready to lay down and take a nap after all that. I have checked out how many miles this ride is, 26.5 miles. I was hopping to go the other way this morning, but the leggs are some what sore. Maybe next week?
So please take a minute and check out the pictures below. It really is a nice ride.
Guess what I have more below pictures
Stiil more pictures
Part of my ride yesterday
There is many pictures I took yesterday ride
Noah and the Flood story below.
Noah's Ark : Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark .
ONE
: Don't miss the boat.
TWO
: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE
: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR
: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE
: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX:
Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN
: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT
: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE
: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN
: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN
: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
Please pass this on to people you want to be blessed.
Give it! Don't just get it!
Most people walk in and out of your life,
but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart.
Monday afternoon we had a little get together, Kevin's family
It is so nice to be able to have a little get together. This is part of Kevin's family. He has five sisters and four of them make it out on Monday afternoon. Kevin made up some chicken souse, Johnny cake. They really like it, it was gone at the end. I pretty much just ate with them and left them a lone. All I see was the computers come out and every one did their own ting. But the next day I asked Kevin how did it go? He said it was a good time. Then I said to him, why did every one start out on the computers? He said after a while they really did talk and ask questions about how every one was doing? The reason I asked that is why get together if all you do is computer tings?
 I look back at my time with family. We really sit and talk and ask each other different questions on how are you doing and what have you been up too?
Over all Kevin said it went well and his sister enjoyed their time here. I guess you can not ask for any thing more then that?
Had a nice quit evening at Tim and Felicia's home
While over there Kevin, Shadow and Rachel went swimming before dinner. You know you can't go swimming after eating. You would have to wait ad least ONE HOUR. Remember that when you were a kid.
So during dinner we had a chance to share on what has been going on in other lives. Kevin had a chance to share about Camp Bahamas. I am very proud how he did during the camp. We had a some (GREAT) potato salid.hammburgers. veggie plate and then for dessert. Felicia had made Kevin a cheese cake. It was his birth back in March and she promise him one then. So we ate and ate and just had a nice time.
After dinner we sat down and watched some TV. It was very relaxing and just good time with some family.
If you see shadow laying down there, he had a head ache from swimming a week ago. I guess while swimming he went down deeper than he should have. Felicia has been trying find out things on the computer, how to make him well? Kevin shared a story about how he has problems swimming in deep water before. So that is why Shadow is laying down. Please after reading this, say a prayer or two for him. It realy looked like he was in pain.
I just want to say thank you to Tim and family for letting us to come over and have some good old fun.
Just a small note I have figured out how to put words with pictures now. The bolg company has changed tings around and I just figure it out. that is why before you would see pictures with out stories attached.Now I got it.
Jeanne saw this place and had to stop.
This restaurant in on Rt. 60 heading from 95 to downtown Vero Beach. Autumn's Crab .  Walked in and sat down. Really kind of quiet for b...
