Now this is a Star Trek, FAN

This is a young lady, we have done some work in her home. As you can see she is a Star Trek fan. She has been collecting things like this for many years now. 

This is a rag on her floor. 

This is her bed spread. I know I have never meet anyone that has been a fan like her. My cousin, Greg loves Star Trek. But he is not even close to what she has.   

She is very easy going an friendly and just a good customer. 

Well folks my little girl is doing better with the vertigo. We went to see a doctor yesterday and he did some test. She has vertigo. The doctor told her to sit up all the time. Don't turn her neck at all. While sleeping she needs to sit in a up right chair and keep her head straight ahead, Really not easy to do. But she is trying very hard. My heart goes out to her for all that is going on in her body. I just not sure why this is happening ? 

All I know is she is not feeling good, and that is really not her desire. 

On Tuesday (Aug 3rd) we go in to the out patient department at Lawnwood Hospital. Here we will get Jeanne all signed up and have all the paperwork done for her, for Thursday Aug 5th) morning operation. 

I really wish we didn't have to have this brain aneurysm procedure done. But her doctor told us that it is something that needs to be repaired. Her brain aneurysms are 3mm and 7mm. So they need to be repaired as soon as possible. 

Hey my family and friends, I really am asking for prayer for my little girl, during this week ahead. The reason is I know she is a little scared and I am too. 

You are talking about a brain aneurysms. It is a out patient procedure, but still asking Our Lord for His strengthen and wisdom for the doctor and his staff, and for her and I. 

I love my little girl very much and I want her to get better and be able to live her life to the fullness. 

IT IS IN HIS HANDS. PRAISE HIM TODAY. 

 

 

Have some good news.

 Good day my friends and family. Jeanne is back home now. She is still having some trouble with walking. But she is feeling better. Today she went to work this morning. As we have been walking around this morning, she feels like there wouldn't be problem. She did call a friend last night, asking if she could just walk along side her as she goes to the meetings, today. So we meet her and her hubby this morning at school. They promised me they will keep a eye on her. I believe they will take good care of her. 

Okay on about the brain aneurysms. She has appointment next Thursday, to have a stents put in the veins. We will be meeting the doctor next week to see what his plan is. 

Folks I have only one request, please keep her in your prayers. We are not out of the woods yet? 

As Jeanne and I have been trying to figure out WHY? is she having so many problems NOW. Well she had not started having troubles until after her fall last year in Aug. Which is crazy. She fell and since then. She had shoulder surgery (right). Pains each and everyday. She needs her hip surgery, next. She goes to therapy for her right shoulder, then the next time her hip. Now she has vertigo. She has been to therapy for that. Now the vertigo is still a problem. That is why she is having someone walk along side her today. Plus now she has a brain aneurysms? Wow, I really am thinking this fall was all relayed.  

BUT WE ALL KNOW WHO IS IN CONTROL. OUR LORD JESUS CHRSIT.

PLEASE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS. I WANT MY FAITH TO BE STRONG FOR HER AND MYSELF. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THEM.  

My little girl needs your PRAYERS.

Well last week Jeanne, was having some trouble walking. They think it was Vertigo. As the week went on, she started feeling much better. But Saturday she woke up and felt bad again. While sitting around the house that morning. She kept saying something is not right. We talked about it and I asked her a couple of times, would you like to go to the hospital? Or walk in clinic? 

So around 11am. She told me to take her to the hospital, emergency room. We got there around 11:30am. Talked to some of the nurses and sat down. I was not aloud to stay with her. So I sat out in the car. Praying and asking Our Lord what is going on? Well we both just sat around and texted back and forth. They gave her a EKG. Sat around even more. I got her something to eat and myself too. 

I kept going in an out and just wanting to stay with her, in the waiting room. The shift changed with security. The young lady that was watching the door, left for the day. So I just walked in and sat down near my baby. Until the nurse came in and told us she was staying over night. They were working on getting a room for her. 

Meanwhile Jeanne texted her niece and works there and she was trying to get her a private room for her. Which she did get it. Jeanne was taken up to it and I ran home for things for her stay. 

She was brought into her room and still feeling bad.  So when I got up to her room, I stayed as long as I could. 8pm is visitors end their stay. 

I kissed her good night and got home. Got something to eat and went to bed. Now it is Sunday morning. Got up and drove over and got in there around 6am.

Mean while she really was feeling any better. She had a cat scan done and the doctor came in and told us, she has BRAIN ANEURYSM. Not just one, but two. There is one in the middle of her head. The other ones are behind her right eye. Okay what do we do next?

The doctor told us, he really can not do anything until they find out why she is so unstable. 

So we sat around all day yesterday, So at 12:30pm she had her lunch and now she can not have anything to eat until after she has a MRI. and ultrasound, The ultrasound is schedule for 9pm. While I was still there, she had her MRI. that was done on her neck area. I had to leave at 8pm again. She got her ultrasound doen at 9pm last. We texted back and forth. She wa very tried and I was too. 

Okay it is Monday morning and I will be on my way up to see here right after I am don here.

PLEASE FOLKS KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS AND LET THEM FIND THE PROBLEM WITH HER UNSTABLENESS. SO THEN AFTER THAT SHE CAN GET THE BRAIN ANEURYSM TAKEN CARE OF. 

PLEASE PRAY FOR HER. 

I LOVE HER VERY MUCH AND WANT HER TO BE AORUND SO WE CAN BOTH GROW OLD TOGETHER. 

 

Look at all the mold, it is from a shower door not closing, correctly. I guess?

The last blog I wrote about this customer. She had a bad wire going to her dryer? Well while I was there, she asked me to take a look at the master bathroom. Which I did. I just took up a couple of plastic tiles. We put those down about two years ago. So I picked up one and saw mold and a soft spot in the flooring. So I told we would come back and see what we can do for her. 

So on Thursday, Roy and I went over there and started taking up the tiles. At first we were thinking, maybe the toilet itself was leaking from underneath. Like the wax ring was not doing it job 

But as you can see the wax ring was okay. 

So as we got the tiles up, in front of the shower. You can see more water damage and mold is there. So thinking it is the shower  doors that are leaking. 

Okay so we got the tiles up and told her to let is dry up and then use the stuff to kill the mold. Which the day before , she was telling me about this chemical she has for mold. She has been seeing mold at different places in her house. So when she does see it. She cleans it up, then sprays it with a couple items she as used before. Then seals it with Kilz paint. Which will seal it in and not let it run any farther. 

So we left her, and she did her thing. So we came back the next day to replace the flooring and put the room back together again. I will share that tomorrow. 

So today is Saturday and we are not sure what we are going to do, or not? The reason is my little girl is not feeling to good.

If you think of her today, say a prayer for her. She has been having some trouble of Vertigo. I know last week, she had some trouble then too. So please keep her in your prayers.

Folks I know Our Lord is right here with us and He is the GREAT HEALER.

Remember this, He is the ONE THAT MADE EACH AND EVERYONE OF US. 

Praise this day too. 

 

Looking at a small job yesterday.

I got a call on Monday to come on over to Cindy's house to clean out her dryer vent. Plus look at her bathroom flooring. 

I pulled the dryer out and took apart the vent tube. Cleaned it all out and saw that her wiring on the dryer was like dry rotted. I showed her and she asked if I could just put some electric tape around the wire? I told yes, but I really think you need to replace the wire? 

So while taking the screws out that hold the wire in place. I heard something kept dropping in the dryer back. I took the wire off and saw this. WOW, this is the worst problem I have ever seen with a dryer wire. I didn't strip these wires at al. They are bare. I am so happy I found this and will replace it. 

Now the real search begins. Will Home Depot have it? I left there and went home for a couple of minutes. Then drove over to Home Depot, They have the replacement.  It did cost $25.00 +.

I bought some other things to do the job this morning. I will share more tomorrow. 

I thank my Lord each day. He is watching over us each and everyday we are on this earth.   

 

Have been having some troubles with my little truck, Ranger.

About two weeks ago, I noticed my Ranger was not turning  over as fast it did before. Let me see if I can explain better? 

Many years ago, like 1960's to 1980's Most car and trucks had a distributors. These devices were used to cause the spark plug to fire at the correct  time. That is why it was called a distributor. So you can change the timing on your engine, by rotating the distributor left or right, this would advance the timing and the other way would retire the timing.  That way your engine would run to the fullest. 

Well As I was saying about troubles, my engine was acting like it was out of time. All cars and trucks don't have the distributor in the engines any more. All computers now. So I checked the battery (Ok). Now what I know it have been a year or so, since I have changed out the spark plugs and wires? Maybe this will help? So, on Saturday I went out and bought new plugs and wires, plus a new air cleaner too. Just trying to make her run again. I started out wearing gloves. But after a couple of times trying to feel where the spark plug goes into. I took them off and you can see, my engine as oil and grease all over it. Guess what I really don't care. I need to fix the truck and that is how I do it. 

These are the old parts I took out. You can see one of the spark plug wires broke off. So that was a challenge, but I got it off. Plus there were a couple of spark plugs that were very tight to loosen. 

All in all, got them changed out and new air filter too. I tried to start it. Still very hard to turn over. 

I jumped the battery, still will not turn over fast enough to start up. 

Okay, hopefully it is not the engine itself? Thinking maybe it is internal? Prayerfully it is NOT??? 

So I asked my lovely wife to help me tow the truck over to Cason's Auto Repair? She told me, she can do that. So I hooked up the tow line and we towed it to Cason's. About three miles down the road. Got there and his place is on a hill. So Jeanne pulled me in as far as she could. Then I put Ranger in park. Undid the tow line and ask Jeanne to get into the truck and see it I can push it up to the door? I tried and failed. To much of a hill. Pulled the F150 around the back of Ranger. Then pulled up to see if the bumpers line up? Great they do. So Jeanne was driving Ranger. I pushed her up into ta parking space. All is well, now let us see what Damon will have to say? 

I stopped by the next day to see if he had a chance to look at it? No sorry he told me in a couple of days, he is short a few guys. 

Okay on Tuesday we needed some keys out of the Ranger, so we stopped by and Damon told me that, all I need is a starter replace and charge up the battery. That is GREAT NEWWS. Go for it. Last evening he called me and told me, it is up and running again. $200.00. Praise Our Lord. 

That is great news, so I stopped by and paid and we pick it up last night after all the running around we needed to do. Drove her home and there is a small problem now in the right hand side of the front end. I believe it is, when we towed and I tried to pull it all the way up to the parking space at Cason's and maybe put a flat spot on the front right tire? All will be okay. I will take it back to Damon today or tomorrow and have him check it out. 

Hey I am so happy that she it running again and I don't have to do more on the engine. 

Folks a few years ago, I would have gotten under the truck and checked the starter? But I believe, I can afford someone like Damon and his crew to do this kind a of work. 

I still want to work on top of the engine, but not under any more.

I believe Our Lord has given me wisdom and the funds to have someone else deal with problems like that. 

 

Time is running out.

Well you can see, we need to empty this shed out. The reason is, (today 20th) we are closing on this house. We sold it on June 20th. Remember the auction? 

Well on that day we sold Jeanne's  property. Okay I started loading things up on Monday (12th) 

I just loaded up the back of the truck and brought it home.

We have a shed in back and I just started filling that one up. 

I got to this stage on Thursday. Looking good. 

In this corner is the recycling things. On Friday that was my day to sell all the steel. We got around $63.00 for that.

Next was the aluminum, cooper, and stainless steel. I think I got around $48.00? 

At the end of the day made $111.00. Not bad for throwing things out, plus making some money too. 

Looking around and see this is emptied out, it is a beautiful thing. 

Now I need to work on selling the things we saved.

Over all everything is working out. 

The real neat thing is, now we only have one house to worry about. 

We are so blessed to be able to save up some money and not have to be concern about fixing this and that and hurricane is coming, putting up shutter. Just a beautiful felling to know.

Our Lord has been blessing us over and over again.

So at the end of this day, somewhat relieved. 

Praise Him and I thank Him for these blesses. 

 

This was Saturday July 17th. I am hopping around a little.

Hello again, walking around the Flea Market in Fort Pierce, Florida. It really was kind of quiet. But we still enjoyed it.  

It is funny, I have a good friend (Don) he lives in Baltimore, Md. So when I walk by here I am thinking about him and his family. So this time I sent him a picture of this tent here. Thinking he would be kind a surprised to see here in Florida? 

Now I was surprised by the prices, CRAZY/How can they charge this much for a Crab cake sandwich???? 

Afterwards we walked over to a new store in town. Don't remember the name. It is like a Whole Foods. Very much upper scale. Prices are too. 

We did buy something here. It was a sauce for cooking vegetables in. It really did taste good. Had that the following Tuesday night for dinner. 

We were invited to go out for lunch at this place. It was was Christa and Jake's treat. I have been wanting to stop by here an get something to eat a while now. But have not taken the time to do so. 

So we meet them here and had a nice time. 

This reminded me of sports bar back in Buffalo, New York. 

This is what I have been wanting to get. So I ordered it and it came out just like I thought it would. 

A heavy amount of salt on this Kummel wick bun. The sandwich was great. 

Sorry to say the potato salad was not that good. I did even finish it. 

This is the horse radish sauce. It was very tasty and even on the hot side. 

This is what Christa got, fried chicken. She didn't like the breading on it. It had  like a burnt taste. 

Jake enjoyed his Hamburg and fries. Now the fries were really good. he gave me a couple. Next I come Beef on Kummel wick and fries. 

My baby had a the steak and potatoes She told me she really did enjoyed it. 

Well after this we left and went to another shopping center. Jeanne wanted some food from the Asia Store on the way home. 

We have plains this night to go to Michael's birthday party. Which I wrote about last week. The one on Jeanne making a cake and all the fun we had. 

Well folks I just can not believe it's Monday morning already. Wow, time flying by and trying to keep up is a stain. 

But as we heard yesterday message from Pastor Craig. I know Who is at the controls.  

OUR LORD JESUS. 

 

Okay Richey, need some help.

On July 9th Roy an I went over to his brother's house. He has some trouble with a couple of outlets an light switches. So you can see these are pretty much the old (original) Well you can see there are three (3) sets of 12 gauge wire coming into this box. The wire itself is a pain. It is to heavy to bend around inside the box. So I put a jumper on it. This way I can get the wire in and hook up the outlet. 

These are the outlets we redid. There was one more, that was behind the sofa. Got that all done and did a repair on his floor too. But at the end all is good and he is happy and we made a few bucks. 

This whole week, Jeanne and I worked on emptying the shed at 2709. So as it is Sunday morning, it is finished. . 

I will be sharing pictures this next week on all that we got done. 

It really is a good feeling to be out of the old house and shed and just concern about the one we are living in now. 

This is just because we are trusting Our Lord Jesus and leaning on Him to make it all happen. 

I pray that each and everyone out there takes the time today to thank HIM for this last week and all that went on. It might not have a good week, but today we can say Monday is around the corner and we get another shot at it. It is all about His Grace and love He has for US.
