The kitchen floor is tiled and grouted.

Okay once you start you are commented.

Okay the straight tiles are down and ready. I finished the cut on the next day. Sunday was cutting day. Roy was a big help too. He used the straight tile cutter, I bought on Friday. It really did make the job a little easier.

Yesterday was a challange. Trying to find a door way board that would work. The ones you buy at Lowes were to short. So we came up with this set up and I really pray it will work. Thinking maybe down the road it would be a trip hazard. Only time will tell.
I am very happy I am almost out of tile. That means my tiling is done for now.
My knees really need a break.

This really was a close call. The refrigerator just fits????
Praise our Lord.

Okay kitchen time.

I have enough tile to tile the kitchen. Look on the side of the cabinets. I guess why put sides on if the stove and refrigerator covers them up? .

Okay the wonder board is down and next step will be to put tile set and tile down. This was Thursday afternoon I got this done.

Well on Sunday my day ended great.

Pretty much everything on my truck has been bought by Billy or Tim. These are items that are hard to find over in the Bahamas, or the cost is outrageous.
I am very blessed to be able to use my home to be a waiting area to help them out. I am not living in the Bahamas any more, but I can still be part of my family there.

It really is neat to see how things work after you ask our Lord for some help. That is correct, I got everything on my truck in one load. You can see is is loaded up to the hills.
So as for the large ladder (14 foot)  hanging off the back, I asked my neighbor Jim if he would follow behind me. It is only about 7 miles away. But I felt much better after we got to Harbortown Marina.

This ship belongs to Captain Bruce and his wife, Sheila. They live up in South Carolina. Every year they get a crew and sail south to here. As for this trip I had a chance to be part of bring them some supplies and other items that their friends and mine, for the Bahamas.

As I showed up Captain Bruce was talking with a guy about buying this little skiff. So I guess Captain Bruce got a good deal and bought it. He got everyone off of his ship and and we picked up the skiff and carried it from the parking lot over a couple of cars and dropped it the water off of the dock.

It really looks like a lot of fun to be able to be part of Captain Bruce;s crew. But not this time. Maybe next time I will sail over to the Bahamas with him?
Hey the real neat thing is, everything made it to the ship and they should have sailed out the next morning.(Monday)  But he was telling me he had to go north first and then sail over to the Bahamas this week.
Prayerfully everyone and things make it over there and they start out their year bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a mission ship and I know He is being glorified.
Just praise HIM.

I had a wonderful week-end.

All these students are from Nassau, Bahamas. They flew in on Friday afternoon. They are here to take part of International Soccer Tournament. It is so good how our Lord makes things happen. The reason I say that is I am only hour ride away and I drove down to PGA Blvd. and went to pick up my old friend Tim. He stayed with me me during week-end. Shallow, his son, stayed with the team. Hey the place they were staying was called the Double Tree. It looked like a beautiful place.

My old friends from Nassau, Bahamas. This is Shadow and his dad Tim. So I drove down on Friday and picked Tim up and took him back to my place. There we sat around and got some what caught up. Then went to the the car rental place in Fort Pierce and picked up his rental. This way as I am working he can come and go where ever he needs to. So Saturday we got up and drove south to exit #101. Sorry don't remember the name of the road. But got to the field and the students were already out there warming up.

I know I need a zoom lens. It okay for me. If you look the guy in the orange uniform is Shadow, as goalie. He blocked, I think three (3) shots. But as the game went on the team was not up for the challenge. As the game started out, Nassau was up by 2 scores (points). But after the half the team didn't have enough push to finish well. The final was Nassau 2 and the other team 4. Oh well it is not a life changing event. It is only opportunity to show who is the better team.

The shaking of hands, I think shows the respect of each team mate.

As for Sunday I had to work. So Tim drove down and sent the morning with his son and his mom and sister came over to watch the game. They drove from Winter Haven. It was a two (2) and half hour ride. But they had a wonderful time just hanging out and enjoying the the time together.
So on Monday I had a chance to go on back and watch their last game. Plus Tim and I did a little more shopping. Then I dropped him off at the hotel and said out good byes.

I am very blessed to call these guys my family and just love seeing them and spending time together. But as all good things have to come to a end, so out time did too.
As for the rest of my day was a little more work.
Captain Bruce will be sailing in this after noon. So my friends will be on their way to the airport in Fort Lauderdale. We really were hoping to be able to load my truck before they left. But it just didn't work out that way. NO BIGGIE. So I will have to load my truck and take it down to the dock that night.Hey is all worked out great and I will share tomorrow or Saturday those pictures.

Well another project is done.

It really does feel good to look on and say wow it came out looking pretty good. The real neat thing is I only spent around $60.00 to do it.
The next project is the floor in the kitchen. I hope to start on that this next week. Hey there is no rush so we will see when?

Why not tile the second bathroom?

Looking at my other bathroom, saying I have the tile. Sure I can do it.

Roy (my neighbor) came over and gave me some advise. Look it turned pretty good.

This folks is the hard part. Getting up and down and trying to keep everything straight.

I am very happy to see it came out pretty good.

It really is amazing how dirty a floor gets.

I have been doing some work around the house and thinking I need to really clean this wood floor. So talking with Roy nexts doors. he was telling me how nice these work. Thinking what do I have to loose?

You can see really how well they worked. It took three pads to make the floor look pretty good. At the end they really worked.

Sometimes you get a great deal?

\
\I was at Good Will about a month or so. I bought this shower head set. Thinking why not give it a shot? Thinking maybe use it in the guest bathroom? Got home and open the package and no head???

I was at another Good Will this last week and just saw this shower head sitting there. Thinking maybe I can buy this one for the other hose? I asked the girl how much and said told me, she would put a price on it. $.59. Thinking not to bad. The girl at the front desk gave it to me for $.11. Even better. Still have not hooked it up yet.

How can you go wrong on Harbor Freight. Free stuff.

I received a beautiful gift a couple of days ago.

My neighbor Roy gave me his grill. Hey since I have been living here, I have been wanting a grill to do some out side cooking. So as I talk with Roy and his wife Pat, they told me that they don't grill any more and I am more than welcome to take it off their hands. So now I have one and I love it.
My first thing cooked on it was some good old fashion hot dogs. Their were good too.

On my other side of my home, is Brenda

Back in Oct. Brenda and I were talking about the tree in back of our yards. Thinking this tree is dead. So she wrote a letter to the park management, asking if they would remove the tree? Back then they said it was not their problem. She would have to have a tree guy come in and take it down.

Mean while this last week one side of the tree broke off and hit her roof. There really was no big damage. But there was some. So the park came out and repaired her roof. Then the next couple of days a couple of guys came out and cut it down.

It really is nice to live here and see how easy life can be. '
Praise HIM.
