Well I tried to fix this?

This is the pump from the power house. This is the one that went down last week. I dropped it off to Mr Knowels on Wednesday? But by Friday he still has not touched it. So I stopped by his shop and picked it back up. Thinking how hard can this be? Well I cleaned it up an said, let us try. I started out with the small rod. It didn't seam to be holding. I welded and then hit it with the hammer and it just fell off. So I got the heavier rod out. That too just fell off. So you can see I made it worster. I know that is not a word, but I took it back to him and told the guys there please ask him to try to get welded up by Monday? Please. Right now we are using city water. That is running about 16 pounds pressure. That means no O R unit. That needs ad least 90 pounds of pressure. Plus I know there is not enough for a shower for Eric? Hopefully today I will go get it and it will be fixed.
The pump that we tried last week to hook up, still not working. I have Ron's Electric coming g out this week. Hopefully today?

Singles last night.

Not sure why the pictures are blurry? You can see the last shot is not. Oh well, we started out our new year for Singles at Calvary Bible. It was a small gathering but that okay. Veda as been dealing with a some health things lately. So the month came and went by very fast. We usually meet on the third Saturday of the month. That went by and well she e mailed everyone and people have made other plans. This meeting was more about what are we going to do this year? In Oct we will meet like normal at Calvary. But in November we will have a nice Thanksgiving at Veda's mom home. Then in December we will all be going over to Locklyn's home again. That was where we did our Christmas dinner last year. It really was a nice quit time. Sitting around and singing Christmas songs and eating some great food too.
As driving home, you can see I was following someone. It is so funny to see how people just stack tings on the back of a truck and drive down the road.

Just a day to clean everything.

I have not washed my truck in many months. The reason is I keep saying one of these days I will finish fixing it up and repaint it. I just don't the drive right now. May be in the winter time. You know cooler out side and easier to work out there.
Okay I replace the seat covers on my truck too. You can see how a simple t shirt can protect your seats. You know me, I get into all kinds of junk on my clothes. You can see how much dirt was on the last one. Thanks to my buddy at Paint Place, Harri, he gave me a couple of there shirts. I am not sure if this was the reason? But now every one that walks by my truck or when they see the front seat, Paint Place is the place for paint.
After cleaning up the truck, I said. I need to keep going. I cleaned up my place too. This way I don't have to do it before I go to church. That is when I usually do it. Plus I have people ask about where I live. So now here are a couple of pictures. I know it is not much, but it is my place and I really do enjoy it. It is small enough to keep clean and that is all I need. Plus you can see my kitchen too. (the porch).
Now after all that I took Scooby to the beach. Goodman's. He rode in the back. It was pretty rough out there yesterday. Scooby was not in the mood to go into the water. I understand, even for me it was to rough. But driving around you can see how the Baha Mar is coming along too. It is going to be a really nice place.

Guess what I did yesterday?

I had a chance to do a whole bunch of tings. First of all I had to clean off a spot for the Break machine. I put it up on the top run of where the pipes are now. It is up there nice and safe area. I even put a tarp over it to protect it.
Then I said, okay now I need to get this trolley over next to the trailer. This way we can see how really bad it really is. Which by looking at it it really doesn't that good. I talked with Mark about it, he told me if we have to spend some money, go for it. I have asked a guy that welds to come out and look at this next week. We will see what happens. Tim Seely and I were talking and he said maybe take the seats off of this and put them on the other trailer? That sounds pretty good to me. But we will see what happens.

What is a MISSIONARY?

I got this from Shepard's Staff. This is the ministry that funds are sent to so I can do what I do. Being a missionary is something I believe He has called to do His work. Everyday I see His hand around each and every project I do. I know some people look at what I do here as. man he has it made! Over all I do, by His grace and love. I have been here now over 8 years and the funds I get each month don't always cover all I need. I just would like the world to know I am here because He has called me here. I will stay as long as He wants me to. Folks I have look on to see how other missionaries live and I am very blessed to live where I do. I have never been with out a meal or never had to look for a place to stay. He has always provide. But has I look at this video below, I think  of the ones that do have to look and seek for food and a place to stay. I thank Him each and every day for what I have and do here. I am blessed to be called a missionary. I really hope and pray you look at this video and think of all that is going on all over the world. The ones that really do have it rough an need your support in PRAYER and FUNDS. Thank you for reading this and hope God is tugging on your heart to help. OR maybe you need to do what He has called. EVERYONE IS A MISSIONARY. Show love to others and share His WORD.

Why don't my plans work?

Well first of all, I was going to work on another flat tyre this morning, Toyota van. While just straighening the trailer, I hear Sean. Tom the well pump is making a lot of noise. I walked over and hear it wining. I shut it off and found that the pump itself is leaking. The front of it is all rusted out. Okay I guess I need to get water so here goes. First turn on the city water, Okay now let me take the old pump out. Oh that right I need another valve to be able to do that. I went looking for one in the trailer, NONE. Go to CBS. This is a hard ware store that we have account with. Now that is another story next time.
Okay back cut the pipe along the wall. Pushing the pipe down to make sure it is tight. I broke another pipe. Now I need another valve. Go to another store, Wright's. Buy the valve plus some t's. Okay back, cut the old pipe out and now we are set. Close off all the valves and now we have city water.
Okay now Eric and I took the old pump out. then put the other one in. This is the one I have tried ad least three times before. It doesn't build up pressure. Before I have taken is back to Ron's Electric. He showed me that the pump works great. So Eric and I put in all new plumbing parts and still doesn't build up pressure. I video taped it and today I will show it to Ron.
Why does my days have to be so hard?

Oh the altanter on the train is shot too. Taking that in today to get repaired hopefully.
When down loading these pictures I had them in order. Not sure what happen?
Like I said maybe day is a hard one too?

Well today is my Monday

That right it really is Tuesday, but as we all took off on Monday, due to the FUN DAY. Hey like I said another day of fixing tyres. That is what my day was full of. First I knew one the rear tyres on the Solar Bus was flat. Looked at it and found it had a slice in the side. So I went to the trailer and found the last tyre I saved had a slice too. So guess what? We had to buy a new used tyre. I went to my old friend Batty's Tyre. They sold me one for $150.00. The real sad part is these are the tyres people in the states throw out for new ones.
Okay Now got that fixes. Now the train tyre. That one too has a slice in the side. The reason was our staff as been using the larger trailer since the old one went down. So on the gates there are U bolts that stick out and that is what put a slice in this tyre. So I tried to buy a new used one. No one has it. The guy at this shop told me he can fix it for me. He patched the side wall. Then put a boot inside of it. Then a tube. Man it worked. Hopefully this morning it is still up full of air. I will be going over there in a little while. The bolts are cut off now.
The nice thing about having to go drive around. I try to take Scooby with me. I know he loves to ride around.
Oh did you see the sign about the air. It really is funny. I remember when the gas stations in the states started charging for air. Crazy, it is air.

This is our 20th Anniversary Booket.

These booklets were handed out at the Donation Dinner on Thursday night. Then again on Friday morning during the celebration happening. While looking at this, you an see many peoples that have been part of us over the years. Plus how the Bahamian people look at us too. It really is a honour for me to be part of this ministry and for as many years. Looking back through this booklet, I have meet many of these people and some are still part of our group. Over all I need to say thank you to Mark and Kim Wallace for all they have done and all that has happen during this time. I know Mark some days looks on and saids, how can I keep this place going? All he has to do in ask OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS WILL.
Looking back in what has happen here, there is no way any one can say they have not seen Christ in this place. So thank you for taking the time to look this over and would love to hear what you think of all that has happen at the ALC.
