I know my pictures didn't come out that great. But ad least you can see we have bees again. Yesterday morning a guy named Mr. Barrows, came in early and set us up with a new hive and a young queen. So during the afternoon we (Mark, Tim and I) went over to see what is happening? It really was good to see them in there, I know that there is just a small amount now, but we were told they will come. I know Mark has been trying for many times to get someone to set us up again. It really is neat to see them in there again. The sad part is when I first got here in 2005. There a large rum barrel in the show case. Well after some time, Mark talked with this guy here (someone else), he said we need to take the barrel out and put in a man made hive. So we did and after a year or so,the hive got dirt and the bees left.We have not had bees for about two or more years. It sure good to have them back. The glass case every one looks into it and ask what is in here, then we would have to explain, we use to have bees in there.
WE HAVE BEES AGAIN.
