I am very blessed, I have another chance to fly over to Nassau, Bahamas.

Yes, we are stopping again for some breakfast. But this time we are taking it to go. Joe wants to get over there and try to get most of the work done today.
We have a new passenger, his name is Pastor Yves. He is lives in Port Saint Lucie. He has been friends of Joe's for a while now. He wants to see what the Adventure Learning Centre does over there in Nassau. Oh, we are getting gas too for the plane. $6,68 a gallon.

This was my breakfast. Egg, bacon croissant. It was okay, needed mayonnaise.

What a beautiful day to fly.

You can see we over the ocean and boy how blue it is.

We had to circle the runway a few times. So, Joe went over a couple of the other islands.

We landed and put the cover over the windows. I am not sure why? I need to ask Joe one of these days.

We walked in and had everything checked in by Customs and Mark was there to pay for everything we brought over. It was all kinds of Christmas lights and other things that the ALC needs. Oh, Mike and Joe before doing this trip. They went shopping for oil and fuel filters and fan belts and all kinds of different things that we will be working on while here.

This was one thing that they should have gotten. It a socket for the oil pressure sensor. After landing my job was to find one here in Nassau Bahamas. I went to four different auto parts stores to try to find one. I ended up buying a 1 1/16 1/2 drive socket. Plus, some brake fluid too.
I got back to the ALC and the socket was not long enough. So, Mike ended up breaking the old sensor off and then used it to pull the body out of the engine.
So, those guys did buy an oil pressure sensor, BUT we went thru everything we brought aboard the plane. Couldn't find it at all.

I know we all complain about prices here in the states. BUT blow these pictures up and see what
Bahamians have to pay for this oil.
Remember everything that they have needs to be shipped in and pay these kind of prices.

These are the oil pressure senor we need.

You can see the streets are filling up with rain water. This is normal during raining season.

Folks whenever you drive anywhere, it always takes 45 minutes.
Remember this island is only 22 mile wide and 7 miles tall. Nut there is always traffic backed up. Like this time just sitting in line here it took me 25 minutes to go 3 miles.
But I still love this place, You, just need to pray and ask our Lord Jesus Christ for the ability to just stay focused on HIM.

This was one of our dinners we had at Erawaki Cay. Conch fritters and Conch Salad.

This is our Polit Joe, Mechanic Mike and Pastor Yves
Joe had the hamburger plate, Mike had chick wings and Pastor had the seafood plater.

Not sure why I can't write under the next picture, but Lefthand side is Mike, Joe Mark (ALC Planetarium Director) Me and then Pastor Yves.

We are bringing some stuff back. Oil filter and other things that they don't need at this time.
The sad part is Mark paid the duty when we brought it in. But leaving sorry no refunds.

I just love Joes way he does things, these latches on a plane are very DELICATE. So, whenever he opens the doors on anything, he tells us all, PLEASE LET HIM CLOSE THEM.
Just think, if we are up in the sky and open of these doors open up????
I really don't want to ever worry about something like that.

We are getting ready to take off and head back to Saint Lucie Airport to check in at Customs and then head back to Fort Pierce.

We are about 1/2 mile away from Joe's landing strip, Here, is a OLD FOLKS, APE RETIREMENT ISLANDS. It is right down around the corner from Joes place, but it's not open to the public. But each have their own island and gym and shelter. It really looks like and nice place and very peaceful and beatiful too

I am not sure why there is so much water in the fields, maybe a rice patties.

We are landed and putting the plane back into the hanger and saying our goodbyes and till the next time.
Hey just last Monday Oct 26th I went back over to his hanger and helped Mike and him do a oil/filter change on both engines. It really was kind of fun. It took us about 6 hours and boy at the end Joe was very happy to see how everything went. He asked us to come back in Jam. To do a full inspection. That might take us a couple of days to do???
Here a couple of more pictures.

At first, I needed to get Jeanne set for this next week in the kitchen.
It's a crazy week. Tuesday morning feeding District Officers, breakfast. pretty much scampered eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and croissants. Coffee and orange juice.
I share more next blog. BUSY WEEK AHEAD.

Folks I really enjoy working long side with guys. These guys are very easy to work with and no follow mouth and just nice guys.
Like I was saying I will be back and whatever Joe calls me I will try to be there for him.
Joe as has flowing over to the Bahamas many times before, but this year alone, three different times with me. He has never asked for a dime form me. That is not why I go, I just first of all, enjoy his company and he has a missionary heart to help others. Folks if you know anything about me. Just love to try to help others and GLORIFY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
He has been so good to me and I am very honored to be one of His servants.
PRAISE HIM EACH AND EVERYDAY WE ON STILL BREATHING.

Yes, General Elections are happening.

The sad part this year, we DID NOT GET THIS IN OUR MAILBOX.  Oh, maybe because I have this flying in my front  It's a flag, saying  JESU...
