You can see it is moved out. Bob and the Bob Cat did most of the work. Now have to clean up the plate. You can see in the first picture how dirty it is. See they used some kind of roofing tar or like to hold the plate down. So Bob tried to use a putty knife to clean it up. But it was taking to long. I got the pressure washer out and boy that sure works great, doesn't? Plus I washed the seats too. Okay Dr. Bob had to do a couple welds on the seats. There really is a couple that need to be replaced. The steel is rusted out. So I had three under the maintenance trailer. Got them out, they were from the old second trolley we had when I first got here. That was rusted beyond repair. I took that to the dump right after I got here. But I did save a couple of items from it, seats (3), tyres too.
Okay now how are we going to pick this plate up and get it in place? Ask for some help. Tim and Mr Bob came over and we got it in with just a little trouble. Dr. Bob had to cut one end a little, to tight.
Today we should be able to set the seats in place and bolt them down. There is a lot of drilling needed too. Remember the steel under carriage is all new. No holes in it. Hopefully get the fiber glass seat in too.
