Yes it came out nice. It took me about three or four days to make this happen.

These were dry wall anchors. Thye reason I used them was, there are no wood studs in this wall. I did try to find out what in the wall here. I think it is a medal pole. I tried to drill a small hole in the pole Then screwed in lag bolt. It just would not hold .
This side of the wall is where I put up a board with a hole in it and put a slide bolt on the gate to keep it in place.
I filled in the holes and sanded to wall down. Then after about hour or so? I painted it with some paint I bought at Home Depot. They sure can match the color well.
I did this on this side too.
Over all I have a call into Julian to ask him what he would like for me to do? The reason I say this is, it was his idea to put up gate. he was just trying to stop the students from coming into the offices area, until the Dean is ready for them.
Well folks today is Friday and looking forward in just enjoying our time together this week-end.
