Spring Forward!
A Full Classroom of Fun
Although it has been a warm winter, things are heating up all the more as we move into spring. With 30 percent more children than last year at this point, we've seen a substantial increase in program bookings. Many days we have been at full capacity with up to 150 students visiting. It is a blessing to have up to six classes on site while children are in the petting farm, the wetlands, on the train and in the planetarium. Ministry is happening as children are being loved and the good news of Jesus Christ is shared.
I am doing a new thing..
We need your help to finish the camp bath house before summer. $85,859 is needed to finish. As we approach summer, completing the work is vital to making the camp comfortable for large groups. Currently up to 70 campers have to share 4 showers and toilets. When a group comes back from a full day of ministry, the old bath house can be a bottleneck for further ministry. There is less time for an evening planetarium show, a camp fire testimony time or the Feast of Nations dinner. Please help us finish the project by sending a generous donation to Adventure Learning Missions at the below address.
Taking Teachers for a Ride!
In February we hosted 40 teachers and staff from EP Roberts Primary as they came for a teachers work day. Well, it was hardly work as they experienced two exciting educational programs in the planetarium and in the petting farm. We missed the shot, but the Principal even took a slide down the super-slide. Most importantly the gospel was presented with the opportunity to make a life changing commitment. As a result we expect to see more EP Roberts students at the ALC and more of the staff to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Judson students "in the Son"
A great group of college students from Judson University spent their spring break blessing us as they shined their light on Bahamian students and the ALC staff. They painted, cleaned, assisted us with program and gave our buses a facelift as they spent the first week of March differently from most "spring breakers". We are grateful for groups that come along side us to serve our Savior here at the ALC. If you know any church group that would like to come to help, we have several opportunities to serve. A week just became available to help with summer camp from July 15th to the 21st. Contact us for further information.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
