Remember about to weeks ago?

I was telling you about a great buy I found, on line? Well during this last Sunday, Home Depot had the same weed eater and blower on sale for $49.88. I thought I got a great deal for $79.99. Which I still believe it is. But I saw this, I asked the young lady at the service desk about a refund? She said bring your receipt in and it should work. So I drove back home (20 minutes) Then drove back. She looked at the receipt and told me it was a different SKU number.
Okay what do I need to do now? She told me to go on line and talk with someone about it and it should work. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes waiting for a answer. The lady I talked with was trying to call the store to see if they have any in stock, still? Well I told her the store was closed already. Well she still tried. No answer. So I asked to speak with her boss. Steve got on the line and he told me that they will call the store in the morning and see what happens.
Well I already knew the SKU number doesn't match the one I bought. Hey what do I have to lose?
Still waiting a the answer.
I still enjoy my new toys.

I pray you all had a wonderful Memorial Day!!!!

Well I took a small bike ride down to the Navy Seal's Museum. My real plan was to be able to watch their presentation. You know honoring the men and women that have served our country. Well I was a little late for all that. I found out that all of those things happen early in the morning, 8 am. I was thinking it was at 11 or so? Oh well. Thinking why not check this place out? I even heard they did a show on the beach earlier too.

As you walk around this place, there are many things to see.

When I saw this helicopter, I thought of my old friend Charlie (Ft.Laud) He use to fly this kind of ship, during the Vietnam War. I even texted him a couple of pictures.

If you look up and see the signs above, It really makes you think wow.
The ONLY easy day was yesterday.

Over all this place is very well set up and displaces many settings.
But this is the monument hit me hard.
Thought out the whole walk thru it talks of
NO MAN IS LEFT BEHIND.
I really pray you had a wonderful Memorial Day. I know I did, remembering our men and women that have served and are serving.
Praise the Lord.
As I am reading through the Bible, I am starting the Book of Joshua, (his morning) . Which shows, he was a great warrior himself.

I had a chance to go back to Pastor Dave's church at Archie's

I came in a little late, so not sure all that happen, earlier? The reason I say that is I see by their flyer here, Reach Church is celebrating their 12th year.

This is Pastor Dave Sheil. He pretty much goes over the teaching that Pastor Bob taught this morning. You know, hits the high points and what the message was all about.

This be Pastor Bob. Like I said I came in late, so I am not sure what book we are in now? But I sat and just enjoying hearing God's Word.

If you look around you can see this place still is pulling people in each and every Sunday.
Praise our Lord for how we get to hear His Word and just enjoy fellow shipping.

My cuz Debbie and her hubby Jon, new home.

You can see that the sign behind them tells me who is who.
Hey these two have been living in a park model motor home, for many years. That means there living space was very very, small. But as our other cousin has bought a larger home in this area. They have been debating if they should expanse their living space? So they bit the bullet and they are very very happy they did.

This is most of my family. As we are all aging and getting up there. It sure good to know we still are together.

As our day was winding down we all decided to stop at Golden Corral for lunch. Hey how do you do wrong with that,
Well these are my cousins. Joyce, Mark and Debbie. They are brother and sisters,

These two guys are Greg (cousin) Jon, Debbie's hubby. And you all ready know that is Joyce on the end.

I am very blessed to be able to call these folks my family and enjoy their company too. As we were about to split, asked a young lady standing at the door way to take a couple of pictures.
I love these guys and gals very much.
I hope my dad is looking down from heaven and saying. This is what we use to do on Memorial Week-end when we lived in Webster, New York.
Every Memorial week-end, Sunday we would get together and have a family Reunion. That would start out our summers. Then on the 4th of Judy and last day of summer, (Labor Day) we would all meet at Greg's dad's (Uncle Wally)  home in Tonawanda,New York.
I pray you all have wonderful memories of your family and lives on this week-end.

Coming back home, LOVE BUGS EVERY WHERE.

I stopped at Walmart to buy some things. Looking at the front end, wow. I got to get these bugs off FAST. Remember this is all new paint on here. I have not waxed it YET.
Plus I have not put the Edge decal on.
First things first, wash the truck and get the decal on. Then wax time.

Afterwards she sure looks good to me.

I am very blessed to have a wonderful looking truck and she rides good too. Friday morning we will be heading out again. Driving over to Largo, Florida. That is where two of my cousins live now.
Happy Trails again.
About selling her, well I have gotten a couple of calls but I believe the price is on the high side? So I guess I will just keep driving her. That is okay, The right buyer will come around one of these days. Then I know this is God's idea.

I have not been back here in almost 40 years.

I remember my first trip here. (1980?) This really has not changed that much. But as  I am driving around and seeing so much more development. There seems to be still a lot of open land. But it sure has many places to go.

Well the reason I am here. As hanging out with Tim and his mom. He asked if I would like to see Tim and Debbie? I have known them for many years now. They come over and help out at the ALC and All Saint Camp too.
The hotel they are staying at it is the Wyndham.

This was my over night pass to park in the lot of the hotel. I guess I could have stayed until the 26th, as I look at the pass. I guess Tim and Debbie are here until then.

This is their view from the rooms. It is up on the 12 floor. and is a long way down. I really don't like high places.
Thinking while taking these pictures, wondering if you jump, would you hit the pool?
I know that is a crazy thought.

Not sure how many hotels are just in this area, but they sure look like some beautiful ones.

Debbie is Tim's wife, she is the one that took this picture. It is Tim, me, Tim and Tim's mom, Mrs Ryan. .

Debbie, Tim, me and Tim Ryan.
Okay had a nice stay and even went swimming in the pool and checked out the hot tub too. But need to head back home and make some money, so I can travel and see other friends and family.
It sure was good to see everyone and just get some what caught up on their lives.
Tim Ryan flies out today, so please if you think of him say a prayer or two.
I am very blessed to have friends like these guys.

My buddy and his son from the Bahamas, stopped by Winter Gardens, (Orlando area)

That is correct, Tim and his son Shadow came to the states again. Shadow is still playing soccer. As I wrote about him about two months ago. Tim and his son live in Nassau, Bahamas. Shadow is part of a inter national soccer team. So as they had a chance to fly over here and stay in Winter Gardens. I drove on over to have a visit. Short ride, 2 hours.Well as the last game started Shadow was the goalie (he is in orange/green)  during the whole game. He really did well blocking many shots. Plus he worked well with the team itself.

This is Shadow's coach. Mike (I think) he really has helped this team become one and over all they walked away with their heads high and knowing they did their best.
I am very proud to say they are from Nassau and I saw a lot of good foot work and team playing.
Well as this was their last game. Tim and his mom said their good byes to Shadow. The team flew out on Sunday night. But Tim and mom are staying at his sister home in Winter Haven until Wednesday (I think)
Mean while Tim and his mom stayed at another place on Saturday night. The Wyndham in Walt Disney in Orlando. As we were sitting down having lunch, Tim asked if we would like to stay a night at the hotel, they stayed at on Saturday night? I said sure. Tim called the other Tim and his wife Debbie to see if it would work with them? They said sure, come on over.
I will share pictures of that time tomorrow.

What GREAT DEAL?

During last year around Father's Day I saw these kit. I was thinking, if I ever buy a home, this would do the trick. Hey a weed trimmer and blower????
Well I was on line a couple of days ago and saw this. I guess it is my time to buy something for the house? I ordered it on line and it only took two days to get here, plus the shipping was free.
While out buying base board for a friend of mine on Wednesday. Well, I saw they had them in the store too. The neat thing is a battery and charger come with them too. $79.99 plus tax.
Hey it works for me.

Since I have been living here in Spanish Lakes, they do cut the grass, but not always when it is needed. So I was thinking, why not give this weed trimmer a test?
I trimmed all the way around the house and driveway. Then started cutting the front lawn. Now I am not using the battery that came with the kit.

I bought two larger batteries at Home Depot about two (2) weeks ago. They were on sale, two (2) for $99.99. I thinking I use my Ryobi power tools pretty much everyday I have a job to do. I need the extra batteries. I got them. I will  not turn back and use the smaller ones. I have them for, just in case?
On one (1) battery I trimmed and cut half of the front lawn.

If you go on line to Home Depot and look up reviews on this kit, you will see I was the first one to write about it. Tombahamas.

I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.

It has been a while since I have trimmed and cleaned out her gutters too.  Oh, the reason I am here now is because Jeanne and her sisters pl...
