What to do on Saturday? Why not go shopping?

Plus get a free lunch too. 

It really is impressive how big and beautiful this place is on the inside. Our salesmen was Ed. He moved up this way to get away from the craziest like I did. In Fort Lauderdale. As we were talking I found out him and his wife live in Spanish Lakes Fairways. That is the one next to 95. He told me it takes him about ten to fifteen minutes to get to work now. 

As looking at these, do you see these are Mercedes Benz. That is correct. Now look at the prices. You can buy a Class C, R.V. for less money than a car. I think this one was $78,000. 

It really is neat to see all the goodies you get when you buy one of these. 

Each RV as it own generator built inside. 

This one I asked Ed where is the drain for the shower? He told me that there is one, but not sure where? Hey how big of w bathroom do you need? I guess I could live with this one? 

Hey like I told Ed. we are here for some lunch and just hanging out. The lunch was very good. The potato  salad was from Sam's Club. It really tasted good. Plus the hamburg we good too. 

Now this was a Class A and it cost $300,000. 

But look at all you get. It really was beautiful. Inside and out. 

This is the last row on the inside. Like I said these are the big boys. $100,000 and up. 

At the end we walked around and saw some nice looking RV. Had a good lunch and went home. Now I want to buy one and travel around the USA and see everything. These really were impressive.

 But at the end, they are used cars. You drive them off the lot and the prices drop by many dollars. But they are still pretty. 

Maybe when I retire I will buy a used one and travel then??? 

Me retire, not a change.

Today is Tuesday and Roy and I get to take apart a bathroom. Then make is look great again. 

It is all by His power and wisdom we are able to do this. Praise HIM. 

Taking a ride on Friday afternoon.

I have driven by this place many times. Always wondering how nice it is inside. They have a gate and as I was driving south I saw it was open and they are bring in many mobile homes. So I drove around and checked it out. I talked a guy that just moved there about 8 months ago. He was telling me how he enjoys it here and the prices, The one he owns was $64000. But the lot rent is cheap. I think he said less than $300.00. 

It really was nice looking place. They are planing on a sale I guess. There are (I think) 12 new homes just came in? 

Over all the park is very clean and nice. But not as nice as ours is. 

I am still blessed to live where I do. 

I just love this store. UP.

I think this is Friday afternoon. Roy and I went up Vero Beach and checked out . Well there are two stores. One carries the say hard items. Like toys,tools,lawn stuff. You can see I bought two boxes of tissues ($.59 each) and a sleeve of tennis balls, ($1.99) same as Walmart) But I always forget to buy them there. Then there is the food store. 

Walked in and the place was packed, people and food. 

The two packs of drink (Naked) was $1,99 for TWO 8 packs.  I know for a fact they sell these in Walmart for $2.00 each bottle. Pineapple $.79. Folks it is a blessing to be able to walk in here and buy pretty much anything for less than half or more off. 

At the end of the day, I was very happy to get such a good deal on things. 

Over all this week was fantastic. Made some money and even played some tennis too. 

This is Gloria and George's home. They saw the carport across the street, want the same.

Okay we will be building a lattice fence along the poles here. 

This is Gloria and George (brother to her) They are out here asking about this and that. At the end we all decided to just put up the fence along the poles and a gate in back. 

It took us about 6 hours to build this and walk away and saying I think it looks great. Now the question is. Does Gloria and George like it? They both told us they are very happy and like everyone else. That is all that counts. 

I can walk away and say Thank you LORD again. 

Tuesday afternoon we have some work to do.

This is Bobby and Michelle's home. They asked us to pull the old carpet and padding up. Then take it away. Which turned out to be a fairy good job. 

There are two bedrooms to do. So Roy and I got them done. The truck is full and ready for the dump. 

I had a HOA meeting I needed to be there 3pm. So all there was the closet needed the carpet strips pulled out and what ever staples too. Roy got it all cleaned out and I came back and noticed the time and the land fill closes at 5 pm. So we put a trap on the back of the truck an stored it under my carport until Wednesday morning. 

We had two loads for the land fill. The real neat thing is the young lady at the scales didn't charge us a dime. Both loads were under the weight, I guess? 

Over all it is finished. 

Now we went over to Home Depot to buy the things we need to do another carport enclosure. Like the one we did the week before?

 Well while in Home Depot I got a call from Linda, the enclosure we did last week. She was telling me that the park manger asked questions about this not having a permit to do the work. So Roy and I had the cart filled up and ready to pay for it and got that call. So we unloaded it and came back to Linda;s home and talk with her and her hubby about the work we did last week. I went over tot he young lady that wanted us to do the carport just like Linda's She went down to the office and got it approved. So that is what we did on Thursday. I will share more tomorrow. 

I am so blessed the phone keeps ringing. Monday is happening.

This is at Beverley home. She asked for us to enclose her air conditioner. She already had the wood frame up. Just had to put the medal and lattice over the wood. Then paint it. 

Here we just put in the drywall anchors and they worked great. 

She wanted some kind of support to get into the house. Used the anchors here too. 

Painted along the top next to the roof. Then hung this art piece up and she was very happy/ Got a call on Sunday night form Darlene. She was telling that the wax ring on her guess toilet is leaking. So after fixing up Beverley's home,went over to see what is going on. 

When we got there, flushed the toilet and water was coming around the bowl on the floor. But checking closer, noticed the water really is coming form the bottom of the tank. The washers that hold th tank in place were pretty much rotten. Went down to out favor store Home Depot and got a new toilet. Piece of cake. 

Got the higher one and elongated. She was very happy and we were too. 

By looking at the week we should be pretty busy again

 Like I have been saying, BLESSED and Highly favored. 

Well my little truck is having some troubles.

I have been dealing with this for a while. What happens is you stick the gas nozzle in and it shuts off. The problem is my vent tube on the fill line is gummed up. Or the vent tube has collapsed. 

So I have to fill it up very slowly and keep the nozzle pulled out a ways. It takes me about 10 minutes to fill my tank now. But as it is a pain, I just live with it and one of these days I will get it repaired. 

Hey this is part life, deal with it or live with it. 

I have not heard any more about Lenny. So I guess he is doing the same? 

Say a prayer or two for him, Please. 

Going south for the week-end.

This is my brother in law's home. Lenny. I got a text from one of my nephews Scott. He was telling me that his step dad was not doing well. His mother was Betsy, (Lenny wife) my step sister. Since she has passed, Lenny has been still enjoying life here in Boca. Well I was told he had some health problems and had open heart surgery on June 23. Since they did the operation he has been still having troubles. So they had him transferred to another hospital in Lake Worth  called Select Specialty Hospital. So as I have been texting back and forth with Scott. I stopped off there on the way down to see Scott. So we meet at the hospital. Mean while I went to see Lenny. He is in rough shape. He is on oxygen and the machine is breathing for him. He is in and out, he opens his eyes and closes them. Not sure if he even knows what is going on? 

So Scott and I talked with a couple of nurses. They really could not tell us that much. Just what the charts say. 

As Scott really doesn't have any power of attorney to do anything. His brother and sister have that and live up in New York. 

As I talk with Scott asking what is next? He is telling me that his brother will be down here around the first of August and we will see what happens. 

This is like a wake up call for me. I have a few family members still around. Cousins, What if this happens to me? 

I know my Lord is running the show BUT. We need to plan ahead. 

I really hope and pray that each and everyone of us have a plan, so this doesn't become a big problem for others. 

Trimming bushes are so much fun

This is Pat's home. She asked us to come over and trim bushes and get the weeds out. I pulled the weeds out in front of the house. Then trimmed the bushes. 

The grass or weeds that go long the side of the house were really in bad shape. So Roy used the weed eater. 

Didn't quit full the truck with the trimmings. but still had to take them down to the land fill. 

At the end, I think everything looked good. Plus Pat thought so too. I am not sure when we did this job, maybe last week? Have been staying busy so the jobs and days are getting mixed up a little. 

Today we have a real small job to do. It is putting up some skirting around Beverly's air conditioner. 

I will write about my week-end tomorrow.
