While repairing the fences yesterday, noticed they were almost out of 3" screws and just looking at prices. These are the screws I bought 12 years ago. Those have been keeping the fence up and by God's grace. I ended up buying some other screws, made like deck screws. They seemed to be a little larger and stronger? Maybe.
This is the big slide at the ALC. the students love this and they will spend most of their time going up and coming back down all day long. We need to support the steps going up. There are some soft spots, and I will use 2"x4" board to put under the step itself. There was (I think) 9 supports I put under them. I finished this up on our last day.
I guess Mark or someone bought this piece of indoor/outdoor carpet to put on the cement at the bottom of the slide. Joe put down some water and then used Gorilla glue. Then we put these strips along the top and bottom of the carpet. This way maybe holds it in place and help from coming up.
First thing I needed to do was trim this side of the platform. Just used a straight edged and got the circular saw and cut them.
Using the 2"x4" built supports on each corner and then put up supports to keep it solid.
Today ALC set up having around 40 staff from the Bahamas Defense Force. They showed up and Mark and others had the jobs set up and ready for them to get them done. This group was washing the plastic eggs out. They have stored up in the attic for over a few years. So, these students pretty much had the easy job to get done.
Meanwhile Joe and I sat down and ate our sandwiches that he got at the ESSO station this morning.
Afterward we walked over to see how the pond was pumped out and now is nice and clean.

Afterward we were set up and meet a guy that is selling a older Jeep.
I am not sure whatever happen after we left the island. I think ALC bought it for their train to go around the back lot.
Got back home and after working all day, to take a shower and get cleaned up to go the Billy's house for dinner.
Just wanted to take some pictures of the cottage we stayed in. It really is nice and very comforting. Air worked and water was hat when needed and just w very nice place to stay and just relax.
Just a short story, while I lived here we had groups coming in to build the houses and then did the finishing work too. See those steps going up. Tim and I put them together and they are still standing. These are two of these building.

This is his back yard. So beautiful and the breeze was great too.
My friends here were somewhat shocked at seeing a castle on this island here.
Okay this is Mike, Billy, Leah and Joe. We are in their kitchen and having Bamboo Shack for dinner.

But we had a wonderful time and just sat and Billy told us how they got here and all that the castle has been doing over these last 25 years, plus.
I am so happy, we just hung out and got somewhat caught up and get connected.
Folks it was Easter Sunday this last Sunday. Jeanne and I went to the Sunrise Service. At Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Craig did the message. He has been dealing with some health issues, and he just got out of the hospital and the week before.
Pastor Craig did a nice service, and he left to get into the building to do the Easter Service inside too.
Please keep him in your prayers. He really is not doing well. He has been in and out of different hospitals and doctors' office for over 5 years.
I am asking for prayers all that is going on in the world and our men and women that are in the services. They are fighting to keep us safe and secure.
