This is Joe, I have known him since the time I was living in the Bahamas. He came over a couple of times while I was there. I really not sure what we did, but he remembers me.
Okay about a month ago, February, Mark Wallace (ALC missionary) called me and told me that Joe will be calling me and asking if I would like to fly over to the ALC to help out for a couple of days?
Okay ALC is Adventure Learning Centre, it's a Christian Centre that loves to share God's Word and show off His mighty works.
If you are really not sure who I am, I was a missionary for the ALC for 9 years. I lived there and helped out with pretty much everything that happened there. I over saw the ALC Camp, plus the maintenance guy. Folks I believe back then I would live here until my last breath. But we all have seasons in our lives. My season was only for 9 years there and back to the states. So, I am not sure how many times I have been back to do different things here. So, Joe asked me and I told him I would talk with Jeanne and let him know. I called him that evening, and he asked me to come over and check out about all the tools he has and what would I think we should bring over to help ALC out with. So, on March 16th, Jeanne, Presley and I came over and Joe was showing us around. Meanwhile we all went into the house and meet Joe's family and his wife, Heidi. We walked around and had some good times just getting caught up and seeing a lot of things.
So, joe and I walked back outside and was checking out his plane here, wow, I have never seen a two seater before. I know they are out there, but (I am thinking, is this what we are flying over in???)
Joes laughed and said no, he has another plane. But it was not there and I didn't ask where it was.
So, he was showing me around and below are some pictures of what he thinking of what ALC can use.
Okay I took a bunch of pictures to what up App, to Mark in the Bahamas, asking him if they need anything like this?
He wrote back telling not really.
So, before we left there, Joe was thinking near the end of the month and he will keep me in the loop, maybe a guy named Mike might come with us too. Then I said Mike who?
Mike Mariott, then Joe's said that I know him too. After looking around I did see a sign that had Mike's Auto Repair and Sales Shop. Oh, I remember Mike. He sold me the Mazda 2500 truck that I took over to the Bahamas with me. Then I shared with Joe about that truck too. Boy we just hit it off very well. It really is a small world.
Oh Lord Jesus Christ sure has a beautiful idea on how things work out.
Today is Good Friday, my prayers are that today we all talk with our Lord today and just let Him know how much we love Him.
Folks down this next week or so, I will be having many pictures of our trip and all the beautiful things God if doing at the ALC.
