Folks I still was a little nervous about going. I helped Jeanne at school and left from there to drive over to Joes'
Then I saw how huge this plane is. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers and letting your peace just come upon me and started looking forward in getting in the air and see what God has planned for us over in the Bahamas. Wow now let's load her up and get on our way.
You can see we are taxing on grass, until we get to the runway.
Yes we made it and everything is a go.
Meanwhile Joe took out three seats, soi we could load up somethings that ALC and others needed us to bring over to The Bahamas. Joe was telling us not to pack to heavy. The plane was pretty much at max.
He was saying the things we loaded weight around 570 ponds. Plus, our weight we were close.
We did have a stop in North Palm Beach airport. There were three large bags of plastic Easter Eggs coming with us too.
I had the privilege of checking these bags in order. Like not falling on top of me while flying.
Folks I really was a wonderful ride and beautiful too.
We had to take off again and up and away we are again.
Okay taking off here was a little rougher, but no problem at all.
We got above the clouds and boy what a beautiful sky.
I am sorry I have not introduced my few flyers. Joe is the man on the stick. (Pilot) Mike is in the copilot seat and he even has his own pilot's license too. So those two were talking back and forth while flying. They turned around a couple of times to see how I was doing. I was reading in my Bible in my phone while up there, I finished up Zechariah and read Malachi too. So, I was very much at peace and just reading I really was praising my Lord too.
That is Bahamas Waters. Cystal clean and beautiful.
Joe was told to fly over Andros. He told me that after we landed. The reason I say this is, he was playing a game with me, do I see a island that we can land on??? I told him that this is Andros (The Big Yard) I was told that many years ago, when you fly to the Bahamas. Jey Blue tells you that you are fly over Andros.
This is New Providence, Bahamas. Nassau is the capital located on the island.
Now this is the main air strip for here. But there is a couple of smaller airports that use this landing strip too.
Here you can see Bahamas Air was flying in right after us.
We went thru customs and Mark we here to take care of the duty fees for the things we flew over to here.
This is Mark Wallace and Mike on behind him and Joe, behind me. Not sure why Mark had that crazy look on his face. But we made here and we are on our way to The Adventure Learning Centre.
We stopped at The Chicken Shack. for a snack. Mark and I got wings and fries and Mike and Joe got fish and fries.
But I guess I didn't take any pictures of that lunch. Looking at these pictures, after we worked for about 5 hours or so. We worked on a couple of jobs. Joes and I replaced some lumber on the horse's fences and Mike jumped on the large white bus, air conditioner.
We got to our cottage and had showers and got cleaned up and drove to Arawak Cay. (Called Fish Fry) I had Joes stop here at the Old Andros Restaurant. I got grill shrimp. Those got Snapper and Fries.
Not sure but, Joes was saying hey guys try that clean sauce. I didn't but Mike sure did and found out it was very hot (Spicy)
Folks I praise Our Lord Jesus Christ, for getting us here and willing to help out at the ALC. The next day, we will be finishing up the repairs on the horse fences. Mike on the white bus and other car repairs.
Folks it really was nice of Joe to ask Mike and myself to fly over here and help out.
Joe pretty much paid for our full trip. I tried a couple of times to pay, but Joe said NO.
I have a few more stories to share about this trip. Prayerfully in a couple of days, I can post them. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and would love to hear form anyone that would like to share what you think of my blog.
