Hey we are over in Sarasota, Florida.

Before we left our home, Jeanne wanted to save as many mangos as we did. About two weeks ago, we had a really strong storm come thru and many mangos fell to the ground. So she went around picking them up and brought the into our laundry room. This way they can be inside and started getting ripe. So we packed these up an brought the with us to give away to our family members. 

Now that is a BIG Mango. 

The day before we left, Jeanne and I picked the rest of them. The reason is we know the squirrels will eat the up and we will not have any more to eat down the road. 

We left after lunch and drove to Winter Haven. This is where my one cousin, Bonita lives there. 

As we got there, we knew there was some work for us to do, while here. Plus her guest bedroom has been being worked on for a while now. So Jeanne and I found a place to stay while in town.  

This is right down in Winter Haven. So we spent a night here. 

As we walked into our room, noticed the air was not on at all. So my baby turned it down to the lowest to goes. The is correct, 62 degrees. It stayed pretty all night long, it was a warm night. 

The bathroom has been remodeled. 

Look at these beds. They are like cots (camping type) But we both slept pretty good. The problem was it was still kind a of hot in the room. 

Hey it was okay, we needed a bed and this worked out okay for us. After spending the night, it cost $106.00. Not worth it. But we both got some sleep. 

We stopped and got a 1/2 dozen donuts, a couple of items at McDonald's. Then drove over to Bonita's and started cleaning out some tree branches.  

There sure was a big pile of branches and leaves everywhere. We do have some more to get cut down. 

We are planning on coming and finishing it up, maybe in a couple of weeks. I need to get my knee in shape. Then I can climb the ladder and trim the braches on the roof. 

We left on Saturday afternoon. Drove to Largo. Got to Greg's home and hung out and spend the night. Got somewhat caught up and got a good night of rest. 

I will try to keep up with this during our time here. 

 

I am back and ready to Rock and Roll, Maybe?

I am not one to go to places like this and spend money on cutting my toe nails. But as you can see my knee is still not 100%. But it is still working. Okay we are getting ready to take a little vacation, I will write about that in the net few days. Okay my toes looked like I was truing into a hawk. They were getting longer and just not something I am proud of. So, my baby, Jeanne has been going to this nail place for the last couple of times. So I asked her to make appointment for me? Which she did and here I am. 

After the young lady took care of me, she started working on Jeanne's hands. We have been doing some lawn work in the yard and her nails were not looking to good. So the young lady worked on me first and let my toe nail dry. That is correct, I got clear nail polish.

You can my left knee is still looking pretty BIG. But as time keeps moving forward I know I will be back in shape and ready to do what ever it takes to get the job done. 

Plus I am sure looking forward in doing Door Dash and what ever jobs we get.

I know it has been a while since I have BLOGGED.

Last week Jeanne and I went out for a great lunch. This in in Vero Beach area. I have been here before with a good old friend, Eddie. He brought me here to enjoy a pastrami sandwich. He order the one pound sandwich. I just got the single sandwich. It was wonderful and very tasty. We walked away and Eddie had ad least two more sandwiches afterwards. So Jeanne and I were talking about breakfast and I told her we are up this way, why not give it a try. After we got there, looking at the menu. I thought, why not get lunch instead, I know their lunches are great. I got The Beef Brisket Dip. She got a breakfast, Avocado Breakfast BLT, plus got a side of potato pancakes. 

She really did enjoy taking a bit out of my sandwich, twice. Look you can see how much she ate?? 

But she told me that was fanatic favors. Her was pretty good too. 

Afterwards we left here and went across the street, Fresh Market. We bought a few things there and then went to a couple of other shops. 

It really was a enjoyable day and I was looking forward in getting back home, my knee was hurting pretty bad. The reason was I was sitting in the car for the last places we went to. After I got home all was well again. It is just like right now, I am sitting here at the kitchen table and not using my knee at all and boy it is hurting again. I need to walk around and just work it out. 

Prayerfully, tomorrow I see my doctor an he will take the staples out and I will be able to bend my knee much easier. 

I really did miss doing my blog, I will try to get back into the routine.
