Okay we are back at Fred's #2 bathroom, remodeling this one too.

Well, we need to take the old vanity and medical cabinet out.

Pull out the toilet and grab bar on the wall there.

This seems to be our biggest challenge. getting the new pumping in the new vanity. You can see all the pipes are coming out of the floor. Most (regular) house has the pipes coming out of the wall. So, we need to cut the floor out of this vanity without breaking any pipes.

Talking with Fred, we talked him into putting up Waynes's coating. Just inside the cove area.

It looks pretty good. Roy was painting the walls and Fred said, now he wants all the walls have Wayne's coating on them. No problem.

Looking at the light and fan switching. Neede to rewire them to a standard box and make sure they still work. All I did was pull the old ones out and put the white wires together. With a wire nut. Then used electric tape over the top of them. All works and looks much better.

We got the floor in and everything is coming together.

While putting in the vanity, we broke one of the cold-water lines under the house. All I did was cut a hole in the floor and repaired it. It was not that easy, but by God's grace it all worked out.

Now putting in the molding, 3/4" quarter round. Looking great. Got the toilet in and all falling into place.

We had to fix the window on top of the shower with Wayne's coating. I think we are finished and looking great too.
Oh had to come back the following day and fix a small leak under the sink. All it was the tail piece coming into the drainpipe had a small drip. Just put some Teflon tape around the threads and all fixed.
Well folks what do you have planned for this week-end? We really are just trying to relax and just hang out at home. There are a couple of place Jeanne wants to go. But nothing too big of a deal.
My pray for you all is, you get a chance to spend time with our Lord Jesus Christ and just enjoy His comfort.

This last week-end I had a chance to try a new coffee place. It's called SEVEN BREW DRIVE THRU COFFEE.

My wife was telling me about this place call Seven Brew, it was having it grand opening on Saturday morning. So, I gave it a shot. I went thru the drive e thru and meet many teenagers. I think the owner was at the head of the line, pulling people in. But wow they were all pretty much just enjoying their time and smiling and laughing and just a fun place.  I got up to the young lady that was taking orders and ask what size shirt would I like? I told her Extra Large please. No problem she bought a green t shirt over and I told her thank you. Back to the young lady for my order/ She showed me a menu on her tablet computer. I looked and not sure what to get. I saw the first item and it was called Bondie. It had caramel and coffee plus 7 shot of expresso. Why not? So, I drove up the window and everyone was still enjoying themselves. I never did see the price of what I bought. But it was good and tasty.
.

You can see I drove around a couple of times, to make sure a got some good shots.
Overall, it was refreshing and great tasting. I got home and looked that they sent me a receipt. on my phone. A text, the drink cost me $5.85. I am not sure why? They don't have the prices on the menu. I had to go to another web site to get prices. Kind of crazy. Their prices are very realizable. Compared to Starbucks. Now this is funny, I went to find the prices for Starbucks. Wow, I guess we are so much wanting the coffee, we really don't care the price is????
I still think Seven Brew has better coffee and prices.
Okay folks, so, what have you been reading for this year? I hope you take some time to read your Bible too. My Lord has been very gracious to us. Please take some time to read His Word and listen to what He has to say to you.  He is right alongside of you and ready to have a conversation with you.

Hello everyone, this is a story about checking things out before doing.

This is Nikki Glaser, she is a comedian. Okay so why am I talking about her? Yesterday Jeanne (my wife) got a text from her sister (Dani) she offered her some tickets to Sunrise Theater show. I asked her who or what was is about? She wrote back telling me, it is a comedian. Her name is Nikki ? I asked, what do you want to do? Hey if you want to go, I would love to go. Then she asked, we have four tickets. Who else should we ask? I threw couple of names out. Jeanne said yes, Jody and Steve. Jeanne works with Jody. So, we were looking forward getting out and having some fun. So, I left to come home, had some dinner and let's have a great evening.
Drove to Sunrise Theater. meet Jody and Steve. So, we walked in and found our seats. Very nice placement. We all sat down and waited a little while.  I am sorry, there was a young lady that came out and sang a couple of songs and had some cute jokes, a couple of off the wall remarks. Then a gentleman came out and had a little longer (time) comedian. He was a little rougher than the young lady. Okay this is why we are here; Nikki came out. Nice crowd response. Well, she started out with a few course words. That went on and off for about 30 minutes or so. Then she started talking about children. Well, after that started, she went down a road I would never think anyone would have. About how she would never want children and just kept saying things about why would you have children? The language went downhill and way down. So, I am sorry to say, I should have asked Jeanne if she would like to leave? No, she then asked to leave. We got up and even the couple we brought got up too. We all walked out, I did notice a few more people left too. We said our goodbyes, telling them I am sorry for this evening.
Well, folks I want to tell you, when you think you should do something, JUST DO IT. I regret not taking that stand. I have told Jeanne ad least a couple of times, I was very sorry for not being that husband.
BE THE MAN/HUSBAND OF THE HOUSE YOU NEED TO BE!!!!!.
PLEASE BE AN EXAMPLE YOU KNOW GOD HAS ASK OF US TO BE.

These last couple of months have been up and down. But we are starting a new year, Praise Him, have a nice job.

Okay this is Roy's brother's house, Fred. So, he wants both of his bathrooms remodeled. Okay we started out by taking all the old vanity, toilet and light out.

Roy and I took a drive to the land fill and dropped it off. Out of site and ready to make this room look great.

The ceiling has a few issues to deal with. Before Fred moved in, I guess this was one of the places where there was a roof leak. The guy that lived here before, had a new roof put on this house. So, he never repaired the ceiling in here. Roy and I talked about how to repair this. Talked about putting up lattice strips over the old yellow strips. But I think it will stand out more than we want. So, Roy patched it up with spackle. Then he will paint over it.

Got the old things out, light, toilet and the vanity.

Roy did most of the painting. It's starting to look better.

We got the flooring in and man that sure brights up the room.

Okay, now what do we do to get the water lines up into the new vanity? I cut the CPVC pipe down to about inch off the floor. Then put 90-degree CPVC pipe with a treaded ends. Hooked up the 20" water line. Cut the drain pipe off so we can lift the vanity over it, plus the water lines.

Drilled a couple of three-inch holes. This way it will be easier to get the drainpipe and lines up inside of the vanity.

So, far so good.

I over spoke, the valves have standard pipe fittings. The water lines are tread for faucet threads. Drove to Butterfields. This is a hardware store down the road from us. Now the water valve we have has compression fittings on both ends. So, I was thinking let's try putting a piece of CPVC in the compression 1/2" fitting. Then put the CPVC threaded end on the other side. Turned the water on a it had a small leak, but I just tighten a little more and looks like it is going to work. It looks kind of crazy setup. But it works well. The lines are up and inside the vanity without cutting the back out of the vanity which would make it look like crap.

Okay, we got everything in and now let's see what happens? The drain itself is leaking a little. Right under the sink. There is a pipe coming down into the drainpipe. There is leak where the sink is attached to the drainpipe. We took is apart and put caulk along the rubber and then packed it with more caulk in between the nut and sink. Okay, this is Saturday, and everything is in and ready to go. But we asked Fred not to use the sink until Monday. This way it can dry and prayerfully seal the leak up.
As I look at the picture here, you can see the goose neck is not really looking like it is flowing correctly. I guess we will find out on Monday if it leaks or not. If it does? We will drop the drain back down and cut off a 1" or so on drainpipe that comes out of the sink and hook it back up and see?
Okay folks, I have not been blogging like I like to. But prayerfully I will stay on top and try to blog ad least once a week or so.

I am not sure where this came from, but we all need to read this and Keep Our Eyes On Jesus,

This is our Pastor Craig. Jeanne and I have known him for over 20 years. Oh, he doesn't play with dolls anymore. This was one of his friends (Billy) back when he was a kid. I am not sure what he was talking about. But he is our pastor.

A young man approached the pastor and said, "Pastor, I'm not going to church anymore!"

The pastor asked, "But why?"

The young man responded, "I see the sister who gossip about other sisters;
the brother who does not follow the Bible;
the praise group who are premodonas and only come to church if they perform;
the people who, during the service, look at their cell phones,
those who come late,
members who do the opposite of everything the pastor teaches,
those who disrespect the pastor and have no loyalty,
individuals who never contribute anything to the church but take everything,
and parents who don't discipline their kids, among many other negative behaviors I observe in people at the church.

The pastor said to him, "Okay, but first I want you to do me a favor: take a glass full of water and go three laps around the church without spilling a drop of water on the floor. After that, you can leave the church." The young man thought, "Too easy!"

He completed the three turns as the pastor had instructed. When he finished, he said, "Ready, Pastor."

The pastor asked, "While you were walking around, did you see the sister talking badly about others?"

The young man responded, "No."

"Did you see people complaining to each other?" asked the pastor.

The young man replied, "No."

"Did you see someone looking at their cell phone?" questioned the pastor.

Again, the young man answered, "No."

The pastor concluded, "Do you know why? You were concentrating on the glass so you wouldn't spill the water. The same is true in our life. When our focus is on our Lord Jesus Christ, we will not have time to see people's mistakes.

People who leave the church because of others,
It's because they never entered because of Jesus.

Love in Christ,
Pastor Joseph Colini"
Folks I know I have done the same as this young man did. But don't. We need each other and church is a wonderful place for FREINDSHIP/FELLOWSHIP TOO.

I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.

It has been a while since I have trimmed and cleaned out her gutters too.  Oh, the reason I am here now is because Jeanne and her sisters pl...
