Hey guess what I did yesterday?

Okay I have been thinking about doing this for while now. So I got up and did my coffee time in the morning and I said today is my day to do it!

Okay I will not go through the whole trip. But you can see where I went. From the beginning to the end.

At first after I got off the Tri rail, thinking am I crazy, what? I have done this trip back when I use to live in Florida. Looking back and saying why in the world do I want to do this? Well if you have been watching on my blog about how I have to have a task to do. Well I did it and it is done. I really did enjoy the ride, but near the end I butt was hurting. Folks it is so funny. when I got back home in Deerfeild Beach. I went on line to see how far this trip really was. As looking at Google Maps. They showed me I went the long ride. I could have saved 3 miles. But the ride was worth it. I just went down 79th Street towards east. Went over the 79th Causeway to Miami Beach. Then rode down A1A, which is Indian something. Then rode to South Beach and had lunch there. Then walked around a little and rode back. Boy I was thinking how in the world am I going to ride all the way back??? I even thought maybe take a bus back? Then I pride said, what is wrong with you? You can do it. 

Folks this trip was about our Lord Jesus, I was talking with Him all the way there and back. I was thinking all kinds of crazy tings, like what if or what about this? 

I did have some time on the Tri Rail to talk with different people. Some I talked about Jesus. But most just sat and looked out the window and said Thank you Lord. 

I see I goofed, the last picture, that one is suppose to be above the Tri Rail. The draw bridge was up both going and coming back. I guess that is how God let me rest up a little?

It is Friday night, yes it is go out and get my fill.

This is Dennis and Donna Murphy. These are the wonderful people I stay with while I am in town here. Folks I have been very blessed to be able to stay at their home and have no worries at all about, now where do I go to find a place to stay at? They have open their home to me for the last 5 years (I think around that). So just knowing that they both love our Lord Jesus Christ and are whiling to do this. I am very blessed.

Okay, so last night we all went out to this place on Oakland Blvd. I am sorry but I don't have the name in front of me now. But the food was good and just getting to sit and talk and have some follow ship, it was worth it. 

Well my day so far is sitting here at McDonald's having my coffee and Sausage McMuffen.  I am thinking about a nice bike ride. Weather looks good and I will see what happens next. 

A couple of days ago, look what I found?

I was walking around and went to a thrift store, I usually stop by each time I am in town. It is so funny what you can find in there. This is a board game like Monopoly. It called Rochester In A Box. 

I pulled it out and look at all the places it has. Hey I was raised in Rochester,N.Y. So this really brought some great memories back to mind. I didn't buy it, I just took a couple of pictures. 

I did go for a bicycle ride yesterday. I didn't take any pictures, the reason is the roads I traveled really didn't have any thing special on them at all. But they sure were busy ones. Power Line, going south. Then coming back home north took Dixie Highway. 

Okay I do have a short story about my trip. While riding south I was about to give up about half the way where I was going to. I was talking to the Lord an asking Him, or really telling Him I need to turn around and go back. I am so tiered. But right I was was about to turn around. I looked to my right and saw two bottles of water laying on the road side. Okay I am very thirsting. So I stopped and check to see if they were ever opened. No, so I drink one and saved the other for later on. I got the the Library and did some studying and just enjoying some quite time. Then had to think about riding back. I said lets go and see what happens. I made it home with no problems. But I was pooped. 

To all of my KFC friends.

I ate at a Popeyes a couple nights ago. I saw this reward on the wall as I was waiting for my order. I really had to look twice and then I realize what they were talking about. I saw the KFC Bucket Kicked??? What is this? 

Folks enjoy your day. Look around you and look for things like this. It make my days more enjoyable. Just have some fun too. 

Today I will be helping a friend get something from here to there. But then I will be at the library. That right I am going to the Broward Library. I was asked yesterday to do a deep study on Psalms 34. I hope and pray this is a start, renewal.  

This all happen yesterday Tuesday. Bicycle ride 14 miles

Okay I took this ride on Tuesday. It was so beautiful out on the beaches. I rode from Hillsborg Deerfeild Beach to Atlantic Blvd. Pompano Beach. Man I saw the Good Year Blimp. Plus just some real nice areas to ride. I blew the last picture up, reason read the signs on the poles. (Dog is a sleep in driveway) Funny. Bicycle ride was soooooo NICE. 

This morning Wednesday I had a meeting early and I could not work e mails until tonight. 

A wonderful night of praise and just singing our hearts out.

They did tell us that there is a new Lead Pastor, That is Doug Sauder. Which the I think all most everyone in the place knew already. The reason is when Pastor Doug came up to open in prayer, the crowd was clapping and just saying things like ALL RIGHT Pastor Doug. It is funny, when the Pastors have a meeting with the staff and tell them not to say anything until tonight. I know even when I worked there before it was the same. If they knew, they would  have to share with all their family and friends. Then they say , now don't tell any one else. 

I had a very quit day and I needed this praise singing big time. 

That right I am in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

My trip over, was with out any problems. Mr Bill picked me up and drove over to Charlie's home. While there only had a little time to talk with Charlie, but with Bill it really was nice time. Charlie and his wife were on their way out. So Charlie came out and said is your NEW Ride. Soul KIA, It is so pretty and NEW. Man I have gone to heaven. Charlie's had a  truck (1999 Ford Ranger). I really enjoyed driving that, BUT now look at what I will be able to drive a little while. 

Okay after getting settled in at Dennis and his wife's (Donna) home. I went over to Dana's home and asked if I could use the bike? She said sure. So now I have two way to get around here. Right after getting the bike I rode down to the beach and just started south. I got about two miles and turned around and came back home. It was getting late. I sat around with Dennis and Steve and just hung out. Very enjoyable. 

Today not sure what it will bring. But my Lord Jesus Christ has a plan and I need to fine out what it is. 

I just want to let you know, HOW BIG MY GOD IS!

Folks I have been having a lot of stuff thrown at me lately. It is about the way I deal with people on a whole. I have been looking back and seeing the way I have handled things. The only reason I am telling you all this is. I just got off the inter net. I was watching Pastor Doug Sauder sermon. I hit me like  brick. I see myself in what he is talking about. So please take a hour and watch this teaching on Luke 10:38 to 42. Then think about how your day ends and what could I have done better or to glorified His Name BETTER?

Please check these verses out above. I really know they spoke so LOUD To Me. This is what has been going on in my life for a while now. I am Martha telling Jesus what to do. Why is this so hard to do? Why isn't others helping ME? After you read or even watch this sermon, I know He is talking right to my face. 

Yet have you ever heard about the wheel barrow, I thought God gave me? Well is starts out, God gave me ONE stone. Then He told me to take this ONE stone to the top of the mountain. Which I did start out with only the ONE STONE.  Started walking up and I saw this young man carrying a stone himself. I told him, please give me your stone and I will carry it for you. Now a little while I saw this older woman walking along carrying a stone. I told her give it to me and I will carry is for you. Then I saw this wheel barrow along the way. I came across another guy, carrying a larger stone. I told him let me help you get that to the top of the mountain. Put all the stones and rocks in the wheel barrow and I will get them up there for YOU ALL. 

I get to the top and wow I am so tired, thinking why would God give me so MUCH STUFF TO DO? I see God ahead and say, wow I am tired, and WHY SO MANY ROCKS and STONES I HAD TO CARRIED up HERE.

Then God looks at me and said's, I told you to carry ONE STONE, you took it on YOURSELF to carry ALL THAT. 

Folks that is where I am now, why do I get up set? Why isn't that person helping me? WHY GOD?? 

So please, please if you walk away and say you learned something about how I can do it all!. YOU CAN NOT. But with Christ you can do all things, Philippians 4:13. This is my life verse. How did I get Christ out of the picture??? 

That right we went out for dinner AGAIN.

I have a fiend here that, every time I go out for dinner or lunch he loves to give a little, what? again? 

 Well last night was a just a wonderful time to sit around and have some good food and talking. 

Billy was telling us about how his family deals with cell phones during time of eating out. Okay what you do is EVERYONE hands in their phone and lays it in the middle of the table, they are sitting at. The first one to grab their phone during their time of eating, has to pay the full bill of the dinner or lunch that every one is enjoying. I was telling them, I would go out side and find a pay phone and call one of them, just to see if anyone would pick up their phone during that time, This way I would not have to pay for the dinner or lunch. Pretty sneaky???? 

It really was a good time to just hang out and enjoy some fun and getting to laugh too. After dinner we all went over to Tim and Felicia's home and watched some baseball and ate some good desert plus coffee. Then just before we all got up to leave, Tim and Billy prayed for my trip and what is my next step in ministry. After I get over to the states I will get very much, some rest and just having some talks with a old friend back at Calvary Chapel. As time goes on I will share more on what has been happening in my life for the last 6 months or so. But for now I am taking a vacation and seeking His face and just like I said before resting in His arms. 

Now this is the way to end a week

My friends at Bamboo Shack, makes the best jerk chicken in town. It might be a little costly, $7.99 But I have not found any thing even close to the taste. So some Friday night is my release and say Oh Boy. So sitting there and eating some good old food and just relaxing, is my way to say, the week is done and I made it. Thank you Jesus.

Well my search has come to a end.

Since last week I have been trying to find a tie rod to repair the trolley. Well as my time s winding down here, reason going on vacation. I need to do something. Mark asked me on Thursday if we could make is happen. So yesterday morning I ground one of the right hand tie rods we already have. What I means is, the tie rod I need is left handed thread. that is one problem. The next problem is the size I have found here, is to wide to fit. So the one we already have, I ground down to fit into the rod itself. It was fitting really nice. But now have to weld it, so it will not pull out. So Mr. Bob welded it up, he knows the weld is not pretty, but it should hold for now. So I am very happy to say the trolley is back up and ready to be used one more time. 

Bob, Ronny and myself had another project I was thinking to get done yesterday. which we did. Ronny and Bob primed the boards and even painted them. Now all we have to do is figure out how to make it happen. We have these baby rabbits in the rabbit area. Right now they are in small cages. The reason is the wire mess we used for the rabbit area is to big, 2"X 1/12" wire mess. So Tim Ryan tried a couple of days ago to put up some of the same wire mess, but have it off set. That didn't work at all. So now taking 1 X 6 boards and putting them up around the bottom of the fencing is the project for us now. So as Bob, Ronny and I worked on that. Got that done around 3 pm. I  know it is not as pretty as Tim Ryan's work, but I think it will do. I will take a picture today of what I am talking about.  

Another ting to fix. The hand crank, lift I bought for the other trolley is not holding on any more. So I had Bob take piece of 1/8 steel plate 6"X 6" and drill four holes in it. Then we remounted the hand crank. It seems to be holding better now. Maybe down the road we need to just weld it on there? But for now, it seems to be working well. 

Okay why do we have this large beast?

Well about two weeks ago, Eric went and picked him or her up at a friends home. The guy that made this beautiful animal gave it to us. Now during our Easter fun Day it was in back along the train trail. It was sitting there as the kids drove by. I am not sure for what reason, I think they worked into the theme of the skit. But now it is inside the property and I guess they will be taking all the beads and stuff off of it and then painting it gray. This way I guess we can use for other tings here. 

Okay now what happen yesterday? During the day Tim and I looked at how can we fence in the smaller rabbits? So thinking maybe just use the same fence and set it off by a 1"? Well Tim tried that and the longer the fence line the more the 1" offset came now even. The reason is you really have to pull hard and try to keep the slots lined up. It doesn't work after 5 feet. So now what? So I talked with Sean and Mark about it and asked how about just putting up some boards? That was Tim's idea. So they said sure that will work. So as the day was winding down I had Ronny and Bob prime them and today will put them up. Now who are all these people above? Tim Seeley on the left, Bob, Arron, Ronny and Tim Ryan.

Okay wow we have help. As my day are winding down. I need to show these guys all that goes on here at the ALC and Camp. The reason is I am going on vacation for 30 days starting on Monday the 5th. So while I am gone these two guys will be keeping this place running. By God's grace and His help. 

So folks I have been praying about get some time off and here it is. So I will explain more down the road too. 

Any one like to have a bunny?

Sean, Mark and I were walking around yesterday talking about how to make the petting farm look better. While doing that, Sean was asking about, if I could put up a small mess wire around their area? I didn't see any problem with that. So today Tim Ryan and I will be working in this area. Folks the old saying about rabbits, is so true. Look at all of them. Plus on the other side there are three more. 

Around 10 am Pastor Chet and his boys flew for a couple of meeting at the ALC. Well the meting didn't go the way I thought, but our Lord is in control and He is doing something here now, I am not sure what? I will write about more tomorrow. Please if you think about me at all, say a prayer of two.
