On Saturday afternoon, I had a wonderful chance to go to Ikea.

These  are my fellow workers. Christina, Kimber/ baby and Lucas. Hey if you have never been to Ikea, one day just go there and hang out and spend the day just check it out. Plus they have food to eat there too. You know a cafe style. It really is a neat place to see how to buy. They have rooms already set up for you to just see have it will look . Plus the size of the room it there too. This way, say your bedroom is 150 sq ft. It will give you ideas on how to use the space. I have been here before, just waking around. Great concept. This is the warehouse area. You go and shop then. As you look at the stuff. There is area codes. Then shelve codes too. You just walk around and pick up your item and take it to the cashiers.

This is Lucas, he really is a sweet guy, he does smile. I guess as we waited around for for Matt to come. I know he is thinking of all the work that is needed for tonight. Which really was not that much for him to do. We got most of it ready for Mother's Day.

That right we had to stand in line to check out. Meanwhile Lucas and I got some snacks. He bought me a cinnamon roll and coffee.Which was very tasty. The coffee was nice an strong too. I found out afterwards I went back to get a refill and got the grounds. That means it has been there a while. But at the time it was wonderful. Lucas told me that I had too much coffee. I guess I was being silly.  He got two small ice creams.

Here comes Kimber and Matt. Matt is one of the over seers at Calvary. I guess this next week there wil be some moves of offices. Well the girls have been here since 1 pm shopping and trying to buy stuff that will work in the new set ups. Matt is the one that has the credit card to pay for it all.

Well Lucas and I made it back and unloaded the stuff and I went home. This all happen on Saturday night. I usually work until 4 pm or so. It depends on how many hours I worked during the week. You know. No over time. But today I got almost 4 hours overtime. That is wonderful. On Monday there will be a couple of the other guys putting all this stuff together. Then we will see the big office moves happen. That is how it is at Calvary. We are always have something happening there.
I really hope and pray that all you MOTHERS OUT THERE HAD A WONDERFUL DAY YESTERDAY.

I had to get someone on top of the roof of the DB Building.

I am not one to climb up and hang over anything taller than 10 ft. But we have been having some trouble with our radios at Calvary. So yesterday I got a call that Eric needed to get up on the roof and look at our system. So as I was up there, thinking this is a beautiful view up here. So I walked around the on top and just took some pictures of our neighborhood, plus.

If you look straight ahead you might see the seven jets flying above the beach. Yesterday was the Air and Boat Show at Fort Lauderdale, Fl. It is pretty hard to see that far out. But maybe two or three weeks ago I was telling you how I saw these jets flying around Deerfeild Beach area. Then showing you the posters for the Air and Boat Show happening may 7th. So there you go. It happen and I guess it was a real neat show.

They are there. Just hard to see.

Keep looking you will see something????

I know it is MOTHER"S DAY. I sorry but I have not received anything to share about it. So as you spend time with your mom's, just remember one thing, She is the ONE that brought you into this world and loved you as a baby and clean your dirty diapers and still loves you today.
PLEASE CHERISH YOUR TIME WITH THEM.
When they pass from this earth and be with the Lord, You will look back and say I wish I had them here now to love and show kindness to them for all they did for ME.
HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY, MOM.

Be Calm - Jesus Always Hears Your Prayers.

BE CALM – JESUS ALWAYS HEARS YOUR PRAYERS

"...and lo, I am with always, even to the end of the age." - Matthew 28:20b
Have you ever faced a really tough time in your life and the frustration was multiplied, because it did not seem that Jesus was there for you? The disciples faced this very situation. Jesus told them to take their boat to sea while He stayed behind to pray. Suddenly, a powerful storm came up. The terrified disciples faced it for several hours before Jesus, making a pretty dramatic entrance, showed up to comfort them. So, why didn’t Jesus come to them right away?
Well, think about it this way. When we are going through storms, it’s human nature for us to have the mindset that, “I’ve just got to work this out by myself!” The disciples knew Jesus was on land and probably assumed there really wasn’t anything He could do anyway. But Christ was praying on the shore for the disciples as He saw the storm come up. And you should realize that Jesus is also hearing your prayers in the midst of your problems.
Know this: There is nothing in this world that is stronger than Jesus. The fact is that He doesn’t always give us a perfect peace and calm at the very moment that we’re pouring out our heart to Him; sometimes the calm comes later. He will bring us His peace in His timing. You can face life’s difficulties with courage because Jesus promises that He will be with you.

I really like the look of this trailer.

But I can not see how they open this up? I drove around this truck to see the seems or the hinges to open it up. Thinking this is strong cloth, but it has to have a east way to open up?
I have been noticing more trailers like this. They real do look neat and clean. Plus it my thinking is correct? They open up on the sides, so getting the stuff of of them would be easier too.
I just love looking at stuff and trying to figure out how it works. But sometimes I walk away and still not sure?

Hey I know the pictures are not the greatest, but still cute.

I love dogs and these are sure cute posters. I know there is a glare on each one. But the lighting in there would not give me a break.

Pretty simple rules. Plus over all you could not ask for anything better.

Just look at this billiard room, wow. This is such a beautiful set up. The tables are like brand new and there are no rips or even stains on any of the tables.
I will be moving next month. so I surely will miss this room alone.

Hope Is In HIM.

devotional
And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.”  Psalm 39:7
Most people understand hope as wishful thinking, as in “I hope something will happen.” This is not what the Bible means by hope. The biblical definition of hope is “confident expectation.” Hope is a firm assurance regarding things that are unclear and unknown.
Without hope, life loses its meaning. The righteous who trust or put their hope in God will be helped, and they will not be confounded, put to shame, or disappointed. Those who have this trustful hope in God, have a confidence in God’s protection and help and are free from fear and anxiety.
Recently I experienced a medical condition that has a high mortality rate. As I lay in the hospital hooked up to more wires than the local power grid, I contemplated my mortality.
I hoped I would recover, as I have a lot of living yet to do. But I hoped beyond that …. real hope and trust in my eternal salvation. Even faced with my current situation I knew with that expectant hope that all would be well and regardless of how I came out of the hospital, soon or someday I would see the face of Jesus.
As the great songwriter Edward Mote wrote decades ago: ‘My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ, my righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name’.
APPLICATION: Do a “hope check.” Where is your hope; your assurance? Make sure your eyes are on Him and on Him alone.

Words Of Comfort

Raise your hand if you've never been afraid! While I cannot see your response, you can be sure that my arms are limp by my side.
In fact, when I stroll down memory lane, I can think of a few scary, fearful instances in my life. For example, I recall how scared I was when a dog was attacking me. I could see him break free from his owner's leash and dart straight toward me. The story has a mostly happy ending! I still love pets, including dogs!

Some folks face the fear of an illness. Cancer is one of those diseases that make most of us "dis-eased." It is an uncomfortable feeling when we have a foreign entity in our cells. Everything in us screams, "You get out of here, now!"

Fear is a foreboding, a feeling of distress and anxiety. How can we handle a fear or even a severe phobia?

Here is what I found out accidentally while doing hospital visits. When visiting someone at home or hospital, many of us like to leave a get-well card or flowers to cheer a person who is in the throes of uncertainty. Cards and flowers are nice, but I also found that a homemade bookmark with a particular verse from Isaiah truly brings comfort. This Old Testament prophet spoke fearful words, to be sure. But he also brought words of wisdom and comfort when life's events make us afraid.

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (NKJV)

When I pass this bookmark to a person after I have read it, in every instance that I recall, I could see the fear visibly leave the person's face and a smile of comfort arrive and reside!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You know how often we are afraid. You often told Your disciples not to be afraid. In so many ways, You offered words of comfort, especially to folks who looked to You for healing. Help us today, just for today, to keep us aware of Your presence, Your strength, and Your help. We praise and thank You, O Lord. Amen.

You can see our new guy is messy. Not sure why?

I was talking with a couple of staff about our guy here. They told me that he was very active and just kept running around the cage. Well I sure can  see that. Maybe we will not be using sand for his living quarters. They have this mat, it looks like sand. But is is sand glued to the mat.

These are the veggies I have been feeding them. I know they are not organic,
It seems like they really like them. I will be going to the reptile store on Thursday and ask if these are good for them.
My concern is I want them to eat what they are suppose to be, The notes that Josh gave me said all these things are good for them. I just don't want to hurt them. I really am trying to keep them healthy and well fed.

This is Lizzy She is one of our reptiles.

You can see how her colors change every once and while. But the sad part, she passed away yesterday. Not sure why? But since I have been taking care of her and the others. It hurts to see her pass. I know these are only animals, but we have been told to take care of them and just enjoy.

As the children look for her everyday. We thought it would be best to go get another Beadier Dragon.
Have not named him yet? But I was told last night he did real well with the children and he is more active than Lizzy was. So I will try to keep him.well fed and taken care of.

Forgiveness Is A Kingdom Priority

“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many” (Hebrews 12:14-15).
Forgiveness isn’t easy, but it is required.  It is more than possible to miss the grace of God. The key is connected to what it means to forgive from the deepest heart, or merely to tolerate behavior and “stuff it” until it explodes into a bitter rage. Failure to forgive leads to a growth in negative inner grief. The old saying goes “Bitter or better.”
Bitterness is nothing more than old unforgiveness. Bitterness is what grows from a seed of injustice, planted and watered in the garden of what-might-have-been. When nurtured, it brings forth fruit. This fruit, fully mature, tastes sweet at first bite, but it turns the inner being sour with a harsh and biting deep despair.
Jesus told us to forgive. More than this, He commanded us to pray for our forgiveness based on how we extend it to others! He leaves no room for yesterday’s sins and the grudges we nurse from old offenses. The kingdom is here and it means mercy! It stands for release from past wounds—suffered from those who sinned against us—based on the blood of His Son.
It is sobering to listen to the words that follow immediately after our Lord taught us to pray this prayer: “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Matthew 6:14-15, NASB).
Forgiveness is such a kingdom priority that our Lord made sure we understood this by adding an addendum to the prayer. The thrust is that if we receive mercy, we are to extend it. receiving forgiveness must grow us to become so like Christ that we extend it to others freely.
Lord, teach me to have a heart of forgiveness and to turn my back on bitterness in my thoughts, actions and speech.  Draw me towards a deep desire to demonstrate only grace and mercy to others, even when they are unkind or do damage.  May Jesus live within me so fully that there is no room for anything but His character to be seen in my life.

It is funny how I see things around here and think of the Bahamas.

This was the bologna I ate while over there. The Oscar Mayor Bologna was about $2.00 more than this. This cost, I think? $2.99.
But at Walmart is is only $.98. That was apart of my lunch Tuesday. You know cut it up and serve it on crackers. Hey it fills me up and taste okay.

This last Sunday was very special day,

Okay this is our niece, Shaunesi. Today she is becalming that she is a follower of Jesus Christ and invited the family to be her witness.   ...
