Okay another work project on the truck

I have been watching videos on how to repair these rear side doors. Everyone used a drill to knock off the pins that hold the handle in place. I just got out my trusted 5 in 1 tool and popped them off with ease.

Took the seat belt top off and then pulled the plastic door panel off. Then the fun began. It turned out to be a bigger job than I thought. the locks would not open and close I had to order something else. The shelves for the cables.

I found these on Amazon and got two sets. It really was a work project. It took about three days to figure things out and the driver drive to works. But the passage side gets stuck. Not sure, maybe the cable to stretched out and need a new one for. But for now the driver doors works great.

Had to go to Harbor Freight and buy a pop rivet gun. Hey cost $4.99 and it even works.

It is great to see ad least one side works good. One day I will tackle the other side again. But for now working on the flower bed in front of the house. Should finish that today.
God is good and it is always right along side.
Remember what Easter is ABOUT. JESUS CHRIST.

Another good deal at Amazon

Okay I looked on Amazon and wow HALF the Price.

Now I need to learn how to use it???

Before and after at Bobbies and Michele's home, flooring.

Remember about a week ago, we ripped out some carpet at Bobbie's home?

Well now take a look. It looks great. It did cost them a pretty penny, but it really came out nice.
Folks I wish my knees would let me bend and stay down on them, But the hard part is getting back up. I would have loved to say we put this down. But after everything, it cost them around $2500.
Everyone is happy and looks good too.

Blessings and more blessings.

Folks I know I talk a lot about blessings. Well here is another example of how my Lord provides for me AGAIN.
A couple of days ago, I got a phone call from a friend in the park here. She asked me if I would like some Clam Shell (awnings) I asked who and where they were. Carolina, told me the address the young lady's name. Roy and I drove over there and looked and they look like the correct size for my front and back windows.
I picked them on Wednesday and going to store them in the back of my home for now. I want to paint them and the trim of all the windows.
PRAISE HIM. These are a gift. How does it work? He has always provided for me and I just have to pass it on how GOOD HE IS.

We have another work project.

This is Richie, his brother Roy. Well I guess the brothers are in competition in who floor is going to look the best? Remember I helped Roy's other brother pull up all their old carpet and they are were getting a new wood floor yesterday, installed.
This all started about three months ago. Freddy, Roy's older brother started remodeling his condo. He got these really beautiful wood floors in and they look great.
So two weeks ago, Richie asked me to pick up some wood flooring at the store and store them at my place until he is ready to put them down.
So then Bobby and his wife Michele went out and bought new flooring afterwards. I picked that up for them. Brought it back to their home. Like I said they were putting their floor in yesterday.

This is the ceiling at Richie's home. The sad part is about three week his son started repairing the roof. But now we see the plywood on the roof. So now, Richie is going to need to roof man to repair.

We had to take the old carpet to the land fill. The funny thing how much garbage that comes in that place each day. It only cost us $5.09 drop off.
The real praise is how I don't get a flat tire?
Thank you Lord for Your safety and just having some fun too.

Just doing some work for the neighbor behind me.

You can see how worn out the paint is on these shutters. Well the young lady behind me got a letter from the park, telling her that they need to be painted. So last week I stopped by her home to ask about a night light she has on during the night. Well, when it goes on, the light shines into my back bedroom.  I just went over to ask if I can push the light down a little so it will not hit my bedroom. She told me to just shut it off. She doesn't need it on any more. So as I was talking with her, she was telling me about, if I would like to help her out? I told her a price and she was very happy with it.
So I washed them an and dried them in the sun. Then painted them with Rust-Oleum spray paint.

I think they look great. Made a couple of bucks an she is tickled pink.
Just before I started working n them, I was helping Roy with his front yard. He asked me if I would like their old fountain? I said why not? So it had some cracks on the side.

Got the old welder out and sealed them up. then gave it a paint job.

I think it looks pretty good now. My next project is buying flowers and set a irrigation system up in the front here.
That project, hopefully will happen this week-end.

Please folks before buying anything, check out Amazon.

This is selling at Home Depot for $128.96

My neighbor next store (Roy/Pat) I didn't have a vacuum for my carpets. So I used theirs. It worked great. Even on the wood floors it picked up all kinds of dirt.
Okay so I went on Amazon and saw the same vacuum that they have. So, they told me that they paid like $90. on HSN. So Amazon had it for $87.00. I ordered it and it came in and works wonderfully.
So check out Amazon before you buy anything.
He blesses me and I need to be good steward with His money.

Helping a brother out, It really is Roy's brother Bobby and his wife Michele.

This is Bobby and Michele's home. On Wednesday they are getting new wood flooring put it.So they asked Roy and I to help pull the old carpet up. Which we did.

This is Bobby, Roy and myself.

You can see they have carpet through out the house. So all we had to pull up was the living room, dinning room and the back room. It really did come up pretty easy. The only problems I had was pulling the old tack strips up. You know you the ones that hold the carpet down.
Not sure why, but the guy that put the carpet strips down, used a 1" 1/2 nail on each corner. They were hard to get up. But it all worked out really good.

This is Pat, Roy's wife, Michele, Bobby and Roy. We all went out to dinner and then went down to the flooring store and picked up the new flooring.

The next morning (Saturday) Roy and I came back over to Bobby's place to pick up the old carpet and take it to the dump.

It was really kinda neat to see how much that carpet weight. 460 pounds? Wow. My new (old) truck did a great job.
Oh the flooring we picked up after dinner weight over 985 pounds. She did good there too.
Hey Roy and I made a couple of buck and everyone is happy. It really is fun working along side folks that really appreciate the help.
Let us remember why we are on this earth, to help others and show Christ in the way we do it.
Praise HIM.

I received a gift from a friend down south.

Back during Christmas time of last year. Jon Bunch a good friend asked me if I wanted a Kayak? I told him sure would. He told me then all I have to do to receive it was come on back down to Fort Lauderdale and pick it up. So since I got the new (old) Range, Roy and took a ride down on Wednesday morning. Got down there and showed Roy around Calvary FTL.
After wards drove down to down town and picked it up at Jon's friend's home.
Put it in the truck and brought it back home here.
Just for the night I put it up on these bins.

You can see I need to do a little repair. Thinking what is the best thing to do to make sure it doesn't leak and will last for a few years.
I went on line and watched You Tube videos to see how to repair a kayak. There was three or maybe even four videos on repairing them. Pretty much the three I saw talked about tools from Harbor Freight. So went on line and found this kit.

It cost $16.99 and it was a great deal for what I need.

I washed the kayak and ready to rock and roll.

I started out using the plastic that came with the kit. Then as I remember the videos talked about HDPE plastic. So looking around found a bleach bottle. So I added that over the plastic I used form the kit.

I think it is ready to float, We will see what happens.
Praise Him I am so blessed.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
