Took a drive on Thursday morning.

That is correct, on my way to Winter Haven. This is in between Lake Whales and Winter Haven.  Going to see my cousin (Bonita) 

As driving along, I saw this couple riding a little scooter. Thinking wow I really never saw two people on one of these at the same time. 

I don't think she liked me taking her picture? 

Well I made there and here is the roof that has some leaks. I went inside and saw two small holes in the ceiling. But as you look on and see that there is really nothing that punched a hole into it. 

So I see there are some screws missing. So I put in about 8 screws with fender washers. 

 I really not sure what else I can do except take all the covers off and look at each channel. 

Now I am thinking the problem is the gutters are full of leaves and the water is backing up into the channel that is the roof itself. I really pray this will solve the leak? 

I have used this stuff on my roof an others. The sad part it has worked on others. BUT not mine. I still have three small leaks. Between the carport and my roof.

Last week on even put another kind of sealer on it. It is put on with a roller. It is some thing like Kool Seal. Still leaking. But like I keep saying He is in control and I trust what happens in His hands. 

You can see I put tar on the seals, screws and prayerfully it will fix the leaks. Really not sure until is rains again. Today I will run a garden hose up and see what happens. 

These are the gutters in back. All cleaned out and I really love helping her out. 

Today her brother Greg will be coming over and I look forward in just hanging out and getting caught up a little. Maybe go out and have a nice lunch? 

I have been going through some stuff over this last couple of weeks.

I keep seeing God's Word each and everyday and it is comforting, but I still have to deal with ME. 

I just ask for His loving arms to comfort me and hold me tight. 

Praise HIM. 

I just love working at Winn-Dixie.

If you don't know b now, I have a part time job at the Winn-Dixie down the road. I only work on Wednesdays now. While there I get to stock the Dairy Department. My shift was all most over. I just finish stocking the milk. While re stacking it on another pallet. 12 crates fell on their side. Only two gallons actually broke open. 

But what  mess  I got the mop and bucket out and just started cleaning it up. It just seemed to splash around even more. But after mopping it. I got it pretty much all cleaned up. 

It just was a blessing that NOT all the gallons didn't break open. 

I am still praising Him and saying thank you Lord for all you give and take away.

Boy, we sure have had our fill of rain.

As I have been living here in the park, this last month has been a down pour of rain. You can see that our lawns are like hay fields. The sad part is the guys that cut our grass are really trying to make it look nice. But the clippings are a mess. While this one guy was cutting along. he had to stop and go back and forward to get thru the high grass. This was on Monday. They have not been back since. The reason is, like I said it is still raining. Plus the winds have been pounding our homes too. 

Well I still have one more roof to repair. It is the one that the cover sheets came off of on a carport (living area) The tarp is still holding up. But she has told me that there are still some leaks coming in. It is not where I put the tarp. So I guess after I replace the covering medal. I will try to seal the roof in with the stuff I was talking about a couple of days ago. 

If you didn't know this, my house has been up for sale for 90 days.

This is Wendy, she is a Realtor from Sunset Homes. Well about two months before this I put a couple of signs up in my windows, For Sale by owner. Thinking maybe I can sell this and buy another one and fix it up? 

Well Wendy has this contract on my house for 90 days.It ended on Saturday. 

Last Thursday or Friday. I was driving with Roy down our street. I passed this nice Mercedes SUV, he was sitting on the side of the street. Well I pulled in my driveway and noticed him sitting right in front of my house. I went out and asked if he was lost? No he told me him and his wife are looking to buy a home here. That is great to hear. Come on in and let me show you around. So that went well and we sat down and talked a little. 

They called me back and asked if we could get together again? Sure. They came over and we made a deal. Thinking, this is from the Lord for sure. How can this happen? 

Okay now my mind and thoughts are where am I going to live? 

There has been this house across the street, it has been worked on by the park for awhile now. I have been watching to see when it will come up for sale? 

Well this last week it came onto the market. They want $18,000.00 It sure is worth it. 

Okay as Roy and his wife Pat walk around and check it out. I am pretty much sold on it. But $18,000.00. I am only getting $17,000. It will all work out. The reason I say all that is. My rent is going up to $599.00 in Jan 2018. If I buy a house thru the park here. The rent will only be $449.00 a month. So if I buy it, I will be saving like $18,000. in 10 years. 

Okay, down the road from my house is a guy named Keith. His house is up for sale. Now he only wants $7,500. I stopped by and talked with him and offer him $5,800. He told me he would think about it. Now I am praising HIM and saying WOW I sold my home and I have a new one already. God you are in the mix of all this. Now his rent is 564.00 a month, thinking I will still save on the sale itself. This place really doesn't need much up grade. 

I went on line yesterday morning to see how easy it is to sell your mobile home. It is like a car or truck, selling. It is only a title transfer. I can do this. 

Okay Roy and I drove over the DMV. A young lady gave me four of these copies and told me that they can help me to the transfer. That sound even better. 

I am in His hands and He is doing everything here. 

Okay about 4pm I got a call from the couple that was buying my house. 

I am sorry Tom, BUT we drove down the main office of Spanish Lakes. They needed to go there for a Homeowner application. 

We sorry to tell you this, but we bought a house down there and they are very sorry if this caused me any trouble. I said okay I am very happy you guys got what you wanted and there is no problem here. Inside I was thinking WHAT JUST HAPPENED? 

I am still praising Him and He has something else in plan, I guess?

What a crazy week-end. 

I have a roof repair in the park, here.

This is the only sealer I see that Lowes has at this time. It is white and I believe this would even work for a time. They say this is good for 7 years. 

This said's it is good for 15 years. 

This is really for pool sealing. Not roofing. 

This one clams 5 years.

This one is good for 15 years.

They ca 10 years

Then you see this one for 7 years. Okay now I have totally confused myself. 

Then as I was at Home Depot a couple of evening ago. I found all these kinds of sealers. 

The gentleman that wants his roof coated is asking for the best to last. I pretty much look what they have to offer and then I guess we make a decision. 

Folks I just want to do the job correct and my prayer is the one we pick will last for a while. 

As it has been raining now for the last three or maybe even four days. I guess we have time to figure it out. 

Myself, I am for the Lowes sealer, it is 7 years and it is made by Black Jack. Good brand too.
