Okay remember us having the carpet pulled out of the dinning room?

This is the owner of the business. Andrew and his crew are from, Portugal. So the English is not to good.
So we made it work, but there were a couple of hick-ups.

This is Michael and his helper (sorry no sure of name) Hey these two kicked butt.

As they were working, we noticed there will be plenty of tile to do the whole room. So Michael had to take up a couple of tiles and relayed them. The reason was the owner Andrew, told us we didn't have enough tile. So Jeanne and I went out the day before and bought more tile. Spend $428.00 + Not the same tile, the reason is this tile Jeanne, bought a few years ago. You would not find the correct lot number to match the old tile. This way they could lay the tile we already had and put a boarder around it twice.
That is crazy, we don't want to save any tile for any thing else?

So as they were winding down, Michael just had his helper cut a of pieces of the boarder tile, just to see how it will look.
Looking great. The tiles are level and Jeanne is very happy.
Folks if I have not not said anything else, JEANNE IS HAPPY.

So now these two finished up for the day.
Now we were thinking these two guys would be coming back on Monday morning to finish the job????
Not to BE. Another guy came to do the boarder.
This part of the work is great, now I will share about the next guy tomorrow.
Hey all I would love to do now is share Jesus's love with you.
Please be kind to others today and put a big smile on, to show your happiness of Jesus in your heart.

Hey this is the first carpet laying Roy and I have done.

We did a rough cut. that means. Took the large piece of carpet and laid it out on another larger floor area. Then just cut it about 6 inches more than needed.

Laid it out and cut another 4 inches off along the wall.

Really no problems at all. Just tuck the carpet under the base board and all is well. Ellen was very happy and pretty much satisfies us too.
Folks this week-end was a time to get our dinning room floor cleaned and ready for the table and hutch
That is the story I will be sharing tomorrow. .
My prayer is that you and your family had a wonderful week-end and that you spent time with HIM (JESUS)
As each day goes by, our time on this earth is fading.
That means:  PLEASE MAKE PEACE WITH HIM, BEFORE IT RUNS OUT.

Roy and I have a small job at his brother's home.

Need to take out the old faucets and drains. It should be a piece of cake???

These valves are very old and well built. It was a project to get the old ones out.

Had to use the Sawzall to cut the old drain out. But we got them both out and ready to go with all new stuff.

Kind a of tight up underneath. But like I said, it all went in.

After about two and half hours we were finished. It ready was a beautiful job at the end.
The funny thing is about two years ago, Roy and I put this sink in. At that time the old faucets didn't work, Richard (owner) told us he would bring in a plumber and repair them. That would be Michael.
Almost two years go by and they still didn't work. So the sad part is we could have put new stuff in then. Save us a lot of time and much easier doing it while the sink is out.
Oh well all is done and looks great too.
Folks I am so blessed to be able to help others out an do these kinds of work.
I praise Him for the work and the wisdom to do it right.
Hey it is Sunday, are you going to church and THANK HIM TODAY?
I know we are and that is all He asks is talk with Him.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy LIFE.

A couple of Saturday's ago,

This is our master Bedroom. There is red carpet in here. already. But Jeanne was told be her sister (Dannie) that the carpet in the dinning room is a lot newer. So Jeanne and I cut up the carpet plus padding, in the bedroom and cleaned it up.

Okay is took us a little while but we were done and looks great, Ready for the carpet installers.
I did take the old carpet to the landfill (St. Lucie) . They charged $12.00+ Just for 400 pounds of garbage. That seems high to me. I know I have gone to the Indian River landfill and it was not that much. Oh well that is what you pay for convenience.

The guys came in and pulled the carpet up in the dinning room. Then just cut what they needed and laid it down. I think it took them about 2 hours and they were done. $350.00 worth of work.
Hey my baby is very happy now and that is what counts.
It looks like we are making some head way.
All that we do, I pray is to bring God into our home and help us do our best to show off His work.
Now in the dinning room the guys are coming in on Monday and start the laying the tile.

Telsla has come to town.

They built a Wawa down on route 70 and 95. I guess they plan on a lot of folks buying Telsla's?

Hey it is kind a funny to see charging stations behind a Wawa. But has time keeps rolling on, I guess they think there is a need. John Bunch was telling me a while back that, we are 100 miles north of Fort Lauderdale. He guesses they will need to get a charge, before driving on?
Right after I post this, I will check and see how long their charges last?
Just got off line to find out how long they can drive?

Can a Tesla Model S Go 400 Miles On a Single Charge?

That is in creditable.
You got to spend a couple of bucks to buy one?
Starting at $36,200. I am surprise? I thought they would be starting out at $100,000.
Hey maybe one of these days Jeanne and I will rent one just the the fun of it???
Hey have you thank Our Lord Jesus this morning for all the blessings, He has given you?
I know I need to each and everyday.
Please DO!!!!

A new 7 and Eleven is being built down the road.

They are not open yet, but I think they better take a look around and see what others are changing???

I know they are just letting folks know they are close to opening and the price is not correct, maybe they don't even have any gas in their tanks yet?
It really is surprising how many gas stations there are around?
But in the end everyone likes this one or that one?
I myself like Cumberland Farms. The reason is, you save $.10 on every gallon you buy.
Example Shell across the street from them charge $2.16, Cumberland charges $2.06.
Plus when you buy gas there, they keep track and after so many gallons they give you gifts, like a large coffee or drink. Sometime other free drinks?
Oh well to each their own.
I know today is in His hands and all I got to do is ask for HIS HELP, in all THINGS.

I was told this is going to be President Donald J Trump, next ad for his campaign.

I received this from my nephew, David. He told me that it is remarkable and gave him chills and HOPE.
We need to pray for this man and our country, USA.
Please pass this on you others. Let us see what Our Lord has plains for us next 4 years.
PRAISE OUR LORD JESUS, He has this.

Yes this was Jeanne's birthday party. Last Sunday the 27th of 2020

There was a big push to make sure this happened. Jeanne and I have been in the start of moving here. Now we did get something's done. But in the end of the day, we had everything we needed to make her day beautiful and wonderful.

We had a nice turn out of friends and family.

We had JERK CHICKEN and FITTINGS.

This was the left overs. Great tasting and jerk chicken and jerk ribs. My baby knows how to cook and do it right!!!.

Jeanne made her own cake too. She loves to bake and make folks happy too. This cake was banana/chocolate cake.

Then Jake and his girl friend Christy. Stopped at Publix's and got this raspberry and cream cheese cake.
At the end we had our cake too.
All was delicious. We were full and happy.

Christy and Jeanne plus her son (Jake) had a shot to celebrate her birthday.
At the end it was very successful.
I know my baby was very happy that we had it here, at our new home.
Jeanne and I our very content and comfortable being here.
It was a long road to travel to make this all happen but it was worth very minute and effort it.
The funny ting is, today is Sunday already and we have been doing so much more around our new home.
PRAISE HIM TODAY. I know we do everyday we have breath.
What do you have to thank Him for today?
I know I have many myself to look back and say THANK YOU LORD.
