This restaurant on Hutchinson Island.

Well, it is Good Friday, my little girl wants to have fish for lunch. So, we talked about a couple of places to go eat, fish. We are so blessed to have so many restaurants around here that are on the waterfront. Jeanne and I have been a few times.

Just looking up to the ceiling it so neat.

I didn't take a picture after receiving our food. It looked so good. We prayed and just enjoyed it. We did take these, back home for lunch today.

This is the Outlet to the ocean. It is called the Jetty. Jeanne and I love just coming down here to look at the outlet and then walk down to the ocean's edge.
Lord you are so good to us, I praise You for all we have and where we live.

The service it pretty good, but their food it fantastic.

Behind this wall is the inside restaurant. We walked around and just looked.

Funny thing is Jeanne told me we have been here a couple of times. I remember now.
My memory is not always so sharp.
Folks today is the day before Easter Sunday. I really hope and pray that tomorrow is a day to reflex on how Our Lord Rose On, This Day,
We will be going to the Sun Rise Service. The Crossing Community Church is putting on.
So, please set time a side to THANK HIM FOR WHAT HE DID FOR US.
JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave us His ONLY SON, so that everyone who believes in HIM will not perish BUT have ETERNAL LIFE.
JOHN 3:17 God did NOT send His Son into the world to CONDEMM IT. BUT TO SAVE IT.
I love you all of you out there and I pray that we will see each other, after our lives on this earth.
 HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY EVERYONE.

A couple of days ago, washing our house.

Hey about five years ago, I started buying these kind of garden hoses. The reason is. they are easy to store and just put out of the way, when not using. But since I use these to wash pretty much everything. When we go out in the boat, I put a pail and (Small bottle of Dawn, soap and 100 foot hose back of the truck, this way. When we are done using the boat. We can pull in the wash area of the boat ramp. Wash off the sea water and whatever else is on it. The reason is, the ocean is not the cleanest to put a boat into.
Plus, when Roy and I go to wash houses at Spanish Country Club Park. Same thing, I have the soap (House Wash) and a hose to clean these homes. I really like the way the hose is so flexible and easy to use. Then afterwards to store back into the pail.
Okay why am not explaining the pictures?
Back to washing our house, Jeanne was using a 50ft hose, watering her flowers and that hose busted. My baby got a free shower.
I was using the 100ft hose. I was washing the house down. I got the back done and coming around the front. Got the front all washed and making the corner to get the last side. The hose popped a hole in it. Now I got a shower. Man, that sure made me get a little mad. I finished cleaning the house and came in the told Jeanne we will be buying some good hoses next.
Okay Monday Roy and I have a small job to do. I needed things form Home Depot. So, I got them and brought old hoses in. I asked the guy there, is there anything better to buy, that is as easy to store and flexible as these? He told, not that he knows of. So I asked him to exchange these? No problem, go get what you want and we will exchange them. I went in the garden department and looked at what else they have. They did have another kind of flexible hose, but only 50 foot.
I brought the new hoses back up to him. I just got new ones and maybe the next time?
Boy I am sure cheap. But looking back, I think this is the third time I exchanged the 100 foot hose before? So we will give them another try.
Well folks, today is Thursday April 6th. Tomorrow is Good Friday. I really hope and pray that everyone out there, takes the time to pray and really seek His Face this week-end.
On Tuesday evening Jeanne and I went to see Jesus Revolution.
I know the story very well, The gentlemen that started Calvary Chapel. Chuck Smith story plus Greg Laurie start his ministry.
Folks I became a Christian, Oct 26th 1996. I was asked by friends to come to this place in Fort Lauderdale back then. I went a couple of times. Thinking, I went to Catholic School and Church. I am not suppose, to go to any other church. Okay like I said I went a couple of times. I really felt The Spirit there and I was very comfortable being there. I think, it was the third time I went? Pastor Bob, was not even done teaching The Word. I ran up and gave my life to Jesus that evening. After that night, I am what they call a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN.
I love that church so much, I even gave two weeks notice at the U Liner Pipe Company. The funny thing that happen. I went and talked with Steve (Operations Manger) at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He told me that they will be hiring in a while. I walked away and asked God, WHAT? Okay I started working for this sub shop down near the beach. I was their delivery driver. I think I did that for 8 months or so, they hired a couple more drivers and I was not making enough money working there. So I looked around and found another business that needed a shipper for their product. Ritz Safety.  They sold all kind a of safety items. I was at work one day and got a phone call, from Steve Young. He asked if we could have lunch one day? Sure can. I think this was two years plus. We had lunch and offered me a job. I gave my two notice and work there from 1999 to 2005. My job was, set up guy. That means setting up chairs and whatever is needed for the night classes and all that was going on then. Folks, then I was asked by Randy Greby (started the Adventure Learning Centre and Camp) To come to the Bahamas for a while and help out. I prayed about it and asked others, pastors what they think? They all pretty much asked me what do I think? I believe I am called to go.
I left Calvary, June 2, 2005 and was at ALC for the next 9 years. Left there 2014. Came back to the states and worked at Calvary Chapel for another 2 more years. Retired 2016.
So folks each and everyone of us, have a story to share. I really pray that, when He calls you. That you are willing to go and serve Him to the fullest.
Back to the movie, during it I thought about how neat OUR LORD IS. He can use any one and He does.
Remember, HE LOVES YOU VERY MUCH.

Had some folks come back, to clean out their sheds.

Ken, Maricel and Cooper came back to town to unpack their sheds. Back in the Summer, Ken and family moved to Texas. The reason was Maricel, family asked her to move back to help out her mom and dad. I really not sure the whole story, but they packed up everything they owned and put pretty much everything in three sheds down Port Saint Lucie area. Well, they rented a 26 foot truck and trailer to pull behind. So Jeanne and I went there to help out. When we got there, they had two guys helping to unload the sheds into the truck and trailer. The guys seamed to know what they were doing. The packing went very smooth and got everything into both truck and trailer.

This was the back of the truck. FULL and more. But we emptied all three of the sheds. Okay now need to get out of the parking lot. It was very tight but, by God's grace we got out and drove over to our home and rest and get some food. I know everyone was exhausted. It was very hot and the sun pretty much beat on us all day long. But got back here and just watched how happy Thor was, their bull dog.

But after a while decided to take a nap, himself.

These are the Knapchecks. Ken, Maricel and Cooper. They do have a son too, his name is Hunter. He is away at collage in Pa. But we sat down and have a nice meal, my baby made for us. I was thinking let us go get some ice cream. Before we left our home, I was showing Maricel and Cooper how Door Dash works. I got in and hit the wrong button and needed to make a delivery So we all climbed in our SUV. and drove over to Little Caesars. Picked up the pizzas and drove over to the addresses they gave me and delivered. Hey got a $5.00 tip, too.
Well after all that we got to Joy's Ice Cream Store.

All the times we have been here, there is a line out the door for ice cream.
Okay our day wound down and everyone went to bed and slept so good.
I think this is March 15th, Sunday we went out to breakfast at Mickey's and just sat around and got caught up a and then, they needed to get on the road.

Got back home and said our goodbyes and they were on their way back to Texas. They will stop for the evening, sleep and get home on Tuesday morning.

They drove all the way here in this little can. Remember they have Thor too. But now Maricel and Cooper have the car. Thor and Ken are in the truck.
I prayed for them, and they were on their way back home.
Jeanne heard from them that night, they got to the hotel with no troubles. Then on Tuesday, they called, and all went well.
So, thank you Lord for their save trip and they got everything unloaded.
Which it all went well.
I am sorry, I did explain who these guys are? Jeanne use to work with ken and Maricel at Westwood Hight School.

Here I was just trying to save a buck. Spent many hours repairing. NOT WORTH IT.

This is my little truck, I have had this for about 4 years now. It is a 1998. Ford Ranger. These are a couple of pictures when I waxed it lasted.
Okay the short story. While we were having the boat worked on, there was a LOT of old gas tank in the bottom of the boat. Plus we had tanks on top of the boat. Those were two -24-gallon tank for the motor. Then in our back yard we had been storing gas in tanks for a while, these were our back up when we would go out in the boat. Buy gas at lowest price and store them under our shed.
Okay Now what do I do with this old gas????
I went down to the land fill with 20 gallons to get rite of. So on my way there, I pulled over on the side of the road and told myself, WHY waste it all. Put 5 gallons in the truck and after I drop the gas off, go fill up the truck with the rest with good gas from Cumberland Farms.
Sound good to ME. Why NOT??? Oh to drop ff the gas, it was free up to 15 gallons.
Filled up the truck and left the gas station and the truck ran okay. But the next morning not to good. I would drive a little while and would start bucking and even more. I drove back home and cried out WHY?
Okay now I just put 5 gallons of junk in her. Filled her 14 gallons of good gas. Say I spent $48.86 on new gas.
Okay NOW WHAT?
I started by pulling the fuel filter off.

I bought two filters. Costing $17.00 each.  Knowing I will run one for a while and then change it out. It will be filled with the dirty gas.

You can see where the filter is, not the easiest place to pull it off. I pulled the fuse out that runs the fuel pump. Trying the drain the line out, before I pull the filter off. I still got gas running down my arm and into the arm pit. Not that easy??? Okay now I put a bucket under it and put the fuse back in and ran the pump, trying to get it to siphon the gas out. I did buy two items to try to siphon the gas. Both of them didn't work.

Okay I did this for a couple of days, trying not to make a mess.
Got it drained out and went down and bought 5 gallons of Premium gas. ($4.01 pre gal) Here is another $20.05 spent. Okay still not starting. I put in new spark plugs, thinking they are fouled out. Plus, new plug wires too. I think that cost me another $75.00.
It kept trying to run. But not really.
The next morning, I went out and it started up. Ran rough. Okay, maybe I am making it happen. Meanwhile I have been praying LORD, PLEASE HELP ME.
It ran okay, thinking now fill it up with all Premium and try it out. Another $68.17 I have a 17 gallons tank. It ran okay, bucking here and there. I stopped at Advance Auto to get another gas filter. $17.00
I could not get it started again. I tried for about 30 minutes or so. Jeanne was at work.  So, I called my neighbor James, to come and help me tow it to a guy garage called Cason. I told James let me chance the fuel filter one more time.  After I got the tow line on the front of my truck. I went under and pulled the gas filter off and put a new one. Gas running down my arm and arm pit. HELP ME LORD, PLEASE.
Folks it started up and ran okay, BUCKING STILL. I asked James to follow me to the garage and see what happens.
We got there and dropped it off, I went inside and explained to Damen what has been going on. He told me, it will be a few days before he can look at it. I told I understand. James gave me a ride home and I prayed again, Please Lord.
The next couple of days I would drive by his shop and see it has not been moved at all, plus the tow strap was still on it. I think the next week-end I drove over there and thought what else can I do?
PLEASE HELP ME LORD.
I got in and it started up and ran better. I took the tow strap off and thought why not give it a try? I drove down the road a little while, still running a little rough. Okay Lord this is YOUR TRUCK. I am thinking.  I went back home and asked Jeanne to help me pick up the truck. She drove me there and followed me home. So far so good. I told her I was going to take it on 95 and blow it out.
Okay Lord this is yours. Lets, see what happens. I was driving on the main roads and it ran rough.
Okay got to 95 and tried to get her running faster. Bucking, here and there, but seams it be better.
I just kept punching it out and slowing down and speeding up again. Getting better. I drove up to Vero Beach, then down to Port Saint Lucie. and back home.
Not too bad, still rough at med speed. Okay the next day I went out and did Door dash and ran okay, still rough at med speed. But I would punch it and it took off. So, I ran that day, about 80 miles. Filled it up with Premium gas, 5 more gallons $20.05.
Okay the moral of the story is,
DO NOT USE OLD GAS AT ALL. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE OR THE MONEY.
I have learned a lesson and prayerfully she will give me another 200,000 miles.
She has 212505 today.
THANK YOU, LORD.
Okay how much money did I spend to save a buck? $263.08. WOW THAT SURE WAS NOT WORTH IT. PLUS ALL THE HEADACHES.

When you see a great deal, be careful.

Hey this is a beautiful looking truck. I was talking with Joyce. This belonged to her boyfriend named Chio. Sad part is, Chio passed away a month ago. His sister Flo, told Joyce that she was turning the truck back to the bank. Well I called Flo and asked if I could buy it from the bank. She told me not sure. So, Jeanne and I called the loan office, it is in Massachusetts. Talk with many folks there. We paid the loan off. They sent us the title and a letter stating that the loan was paid off.
Now I went down to the motor vehicle department. I talked with the manger and he was telling me that we need a bill of sale.
Well, I called the loan office and they kept giving us a run around. It came down that they could not give us a bill of sale for that truck.
Talked a little more and asked for our money back.
They told us to send the title back to them and they will send us check back, after they received it.
Well for the last two month or so, we have been getting the run around and prayerfully they get the title and they send us the check.
Folks this has been a road I wish I never tried to go down.
I know our Lord is in control, but sometimes I try to make something happen.
Hey it is a 2011 Ford F150. The book valve tells me, it is worth $12,000. We could have turned a good profit. But like I said our Lord had other plans.
Please say a prayer for my wife, Jeanne. She has been dealing with VERTIGO. If you are not sure what it is. You feel like losing your balance. Last Tuesday afternoon, Jeanne went to the dentist, and he dropped to back of the chair too fast for her. She has had some trouble with vertigo before. So this last week and weekend, Jeanne has been resting and taking it easy. She went back to work, and she told me that she was feeling pretty good. Prayerfully she will be okay now.

Sunday, March 26, 2023

Good morning all, I am very sorry for not keeping up.

My last blog was Feb. 23th. I am having trouble getting to my photos that are in my computer. I figured out how to get the photos transferred, from my main e mail to my second one. But when trying to get pictures to the blog, they are the real old pictures, from 2016. I will keep trying and one of these days my Lord will show me how.

So as for life, we are doing pretty good. My wife Jeanne has been dealing with VERTIGO. It really is knid a of a scaring thing to deal with. But she has been resting and just taking it easy for now. She wants to get back to work tomorrow. She has been out of school (culinary teacher) since Wednesday. so she is looking forward in getting back tomorrow morning. Prayerfully she will be okay. Folks, please say a prayer or two for her. This next wee she has a few things on her plate to help out at the school. On Tuesday afternoon, she will be serving spaghetti Dinner for the parents of 8th graders that might be coming to Westwood High School, next year. So, every year we put on a dinner for them and just let they check out all that is going on at the school. They are planning on 100 folks for this event.

Hey, I think I figured it out on the pictures. Jeanne and I stopped at Dune Dog Cafe on Tuesday afternoon.

My little girl got the fish dinner. It was ok, the cooking oil was old. So the taste was not that great. But she still ate it and the onion rings I got were over cooked and no taste .

This is what I ordered, Chicago Hot Dog.

I am so happy that I figure this out on getting to the pictures and now I should be able to start blogging again.
I really missed doing this. So, I will try to keep up.
Please keep Jeanne in prayer for the vertigo.

We bought these two pieces in Nov. 2022.

c

Okay now we had these two items for about three weeks, Jeanne noticed the back of the recliner we on a angle.

If you look closely, you can see how there is more stuffing on the right side, compared to the left.

So, as we went over the paperwork from Badcock Furniture. You only have 3 days to return anything to them. After the three day period we are pretty much stuck with it. But Jeanne called the office and asked if someone could come out and take a look at the back of the chair and see what they can do?
The gentleman came out and took some pictures and told me it will be after the holidays, Christmas and New Years. So we called a couple of times afterwards. Then Jeanne and I went down the store and talked with the manger there. He was open to what will make my baby happy. So we talked it over and looked at what they had. Then went back home and said lets see what else they might have?
So we went back and looked some more and found the brown set.
Talked to the manger and he said he will call main office and see what they can do for us.

Well the manger called us back and told us, they will switch them out at no cost. Plus we will get a refund on the difference. WOW that is more than I thought would happen.

After they dropped it off, I called Jeanne and told her the items are here. She really wanted to be here while that happened. I did call the manger while the guys were still here. he told me no problem at all. If Jeanne is not happy about anything, just have her call him back. Well funny to say, my girl found a pin hole in the recliner, sit itself. So she took a picture and went down there and talked with the manger and everything will be taken care of. Feb. 14th another recliner will be switched out again.
Folks at first, I was not happy about all that was going on. But as the manger is working things out,
I AM VERY PLEASED TO SAY THEY BACK THIER FURNITURE AND SERVICE TOO.
After dealing with the manger and staff there, I am looking forward in buying other items from them and just want to let the world know how BADCOCK FURNITURE IS OUR NEW COMPANY.
THANK YOU BADCOCK FOR YOUR SERVICE AND HELPING US OUT.

Jeanne and I took ride south last night.

The real reason for driving south was, Jeanne had appointment to get a MRI done. But we were running a little late. The office called us and asked how far out are we? Jeanne told them 6 miles. Well, she started telling her, well Jeanne we really don't have a grace period. Your appointment was for 3:30pm. It is 3:43pm Sorry but you will need to reschedule. You got to be kidding? I even got up set about that. Most places give you 15 minute grace period. Jeanne told her, no need to reschedule. I will be going somewhere else. Thank you for your time.
Okay now what, are you hungry? I sure am. So while driving back home, I asked where would you like to eat? She saw this place and said, let us eat here. Now we have been here before. Their food is good and the restaurant has some neat things in it.

I forgot my phone in the car, so I went back and got it. We already ordered. So when I got back to the seat, it was here already.

While I was gone, a young lady came over and mixed up and cut up the Guacamole and other things she put it in. That alone was fantastic. Then you see the Nachos, were even better.

We really did enjoy this meal. It was delicious. Very filling too.

My little girl took all the nachos and guacamole and put it in the to go box, neatly. So like the lettuce and things like that are on the side. this way, when we heat up this meal, the lettuce will not be wilted. Jeann doesn't like wilted lettuce or anything like that. so now we have a nice meal today for lunch.
As I read thru my Bible each day, I somewhat always see something I have not seen before, It is like a reminder.
1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you should be of one mind, full of sympathy towards each other, loving one another with tender hearts and humble minds. (9) Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate when people say unkind things about you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God wants you to do, and he will bless you for it. (10) For the Scripture say: If you want a happy life and good days keep your tongue from speaking evil, and keep your lips form telling lies. (11) Turn away from evil and do good. Work hard at living in peace with others. (12) The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those do evil.
Folks this is God's WORD. Please seek His face and ask Him.

My wife Jeanne, found this online and thought. why not give it a shot?

It came in the mail and hooked it up.

Yes, this is just like the Water Pik. I tried it first and it really felt kind a of hard on the teeth. But after a couple of times, I got use, to it.

It really was easy to hook up.

We really enjoy this Oral Breeze. It works just like a Water Pik. But while you are in the shower, you can clean your teeth and not worry about getting water everywhere.
It has been a while since my last blog. The reason is I got a new computer for Christmas and have been trying to figure out how to download pictures to it. I found out they were already in my computer. It just took me three or maybe four days to figure out how to download them on my blog.
But as I can say now, I am very happy to say I am enjoying my new computer, very much so.
My prayer to everyone out there is, please look at this year as opportunity to seek Our Lord for His Peace and JOY.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
