The start of our trip. Bo Hengy left at 7 pm.

What a GREAT trip to Eleuthera

That is right, this trip was off the chain and even more. We all left from Nassau, at 7pm. We rode over in a, they call fast ferry. The name is The Bo Hengy. It was a beautiful ride. The ship runs on two keels. The engine was so quit. By the pictures above you can how the guys just fell asleep with no problems at all. I couldn't sleep. I was so looking forward to this trip. I was not disappointed at all. Got into Govern Sound at 9pm. Richard Albury picked us up in his school bus. You will see a picture of it above. It took about 20 min tunes to get to our place where we stayed. The place was very clean and even really nice too. Pretty much had every thing you could need. That night I had a hard night. Just could not get warm enough. The guys had the air blasting at 65. I brought with me sweat pants and shirt. But every one was sleeping and I just wrapped myself up in two sheets and a beach towel.
the morning came fast and we all had to go out side and do some excising. Warm drills and then ran along the beach. You can see the sun raise that I saw in the pictures above. Ate a good breakfast and then headed out to Richard's Camp Bahamas. Long ride but really not traffic at all. A lot of bumps and holes in the road. made it safe there and you can see the building that he is building for the Camp. The room is 450 sq ft. and it has a bathroom too. He was telling me. He could build these and everything inside for $18,000.00 They are really nice and well built too.
Drove back to our apartments. Ate lunch and then relaxed the reason of the day. I slept for about two hours. Great time. I wanted to go down to the beach and sleep there. To many sand flies. They bite too. There evening a three guys came over and from Spanish Wells. I will tell you about that place tomorrow. Well we had a some good worshiping and Donald the guy in the picture above. he talked about how he had a lot of angry in himself and how he pretty much d all most everyone he knew. I don't have time to explained. But he got his head on straight and let God do a lot of work in his heart. Today he is a Pastor. It is so good to hear how God does so much in our lives each and everyday. I will tell you about Sunday next time.

Boy I am tire all ready just reading all this. Then Sunday Exercise, prayer breakfast, take a ferry over to another island to go to church. Lunch, another teaching, tour of Eleuthera. Then check in on the Bo Hengy at 9:00pm leave for home. So this week-end looks like a lot of things going on. And I am so grateful to be part of it. It is His grace and mercy that I have the chance to go and be with my brothers in Christ. So please if you think of us, Prayer is a good ting we all need this week-end. I hope to have pictures and stories to share when I get back. I will NOT bring my computer with me. So the Monday following is my next story.

Hey New picture for profile. I hope you like it.

Hey we had a great FUN DAY yesterday.

I have not received the final numbers on how many, but I know the place was humming. The real neat part was how all around us. There were churches down the road having all kinds of fun things going on. While I was driving to pick the candy cotton, I saw five churches setting things up. Bonce castes, tables for food, tents and so on. So I was thinking maybe we will not get that big of a turn out. BUT God had other plains for that. The place was rocking, we had a DJ kept us all jumping with the beat. The food was flying out of the kitchen. Just a note that place was CRAZY. Our s did a GREAT job making and serving everyone. There was a line every time I walked by. They didn't get a chance to caught their breath. Watching the climbing mountain, big lines there too. Horses, those three deserved today off. Walking around and being so good. I know pretty much every one had a part to do. Even the train was always full with kids and big people too. I just want to say thank you Lord for such a GREAT DAY. It looks like we had more than 1000 people come through our gates. That is sooooo GOOD. Thank you for your prayers.
Check out the pictures below.

This is from today's FUN DAY. Oct. 13, 2008

These are all from Easter FUN DAY

Hey the week-end is going on here.

I know back in the states they are looking at today as Columbus Day. Here this day is called Discovery Day. The reason for that is, back in the 70's people here just dug up every thing they could to destroy Don Christopher Columbus name. They just looked at how he killed the Indians here and how, they thought his ideas was to get gold and any other riches that he could steal. But the truth is. If he didn't come here, we might not have known who Christ is. He brought with him the Word of God and shared it with how ever he came across. The sad part of all this is, I had to learn this from a teaching that my Pastor lee taught yesterday. I have never heard any of this before in my life and that really is the sad part. You say Christopher Columbus here and the people get mad. They were taught that he killed every one he could so he would steal their stuff.
Okay enough on that. Today we are having a FUN DAY here at the ALC. We are looking to have over 1000 people come through our gates and just enjoy the day of things. I will write about it tonight or tomorrow. With pictures too. Keep us in prayer.

Nov 4th, please vote.

The upcoming election is the most critical election in the history of our nation. The very future of our nation’s foundation is at stake. Every person will be affected. If the liberals win, then our foundation will no longer be based on the traditional Judeo-Christian morality. It will gradually but assuredly be based on an ever shifting, ever moving foundation. If the liberals win, the damage can’t be stopped with elections two, four or forty years from now. America will forever be changed. We will keep seeing a gradual and growing hostility toward people of faith, especially Christians. The morals of our nation will continue to decline. Our children and grandchildren will pay the price.

In case you may think I’m a “the sky is falling” type of person, you should know: When it comes to predictions, I am a very reserved person. But not on this one. I cannot overstate the damage a liberal victory will do to our country. The upcoming election is the most important in the history of our nation. Yes, if the liberals win you will lose some of your religious freedoms and free speech rights. Churches and pastors will not be exempt. You will not be allowed to say certain things about a particular group. Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved. All the laws protecting the unborn will be wiped away.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of the Nov. 4 election. That is why I urge you to vote and encourage your family members, friends, Sunday School class and church members to vote. America’s future – the future of your children and grandchildren – is at stake.

Sincerely,

Don

This is called the Upper Room

This is a update on the All Saints Camp.

Yes people are still coming over here to help us out at the Camp. It sure is neat to see how the Body of Christ works together and gets things done. Yes this last week a group from Singles at Calvary Ft Laud. Came over and cleared more land. Now the boys that know how to use more skilled tools. Well on Tuesday 5 guys came over to look and see what the next stage is to happen here. Two of the guys did survey work, another drew up plains, the other two helped out where ever needed. Just a quite note. There where over 9 bee hives in the Camp it self. Adam and Jason got a guy from here to get rite of them. He moved 4 of the hives. That cost Calvary Ft Laud, $800.00 dollars. So Adam and Jason thought maybe the bug that we use for ants and roaches, might work to kill the queen bees. Today Adam and Jason bought 12 cans of . I video tape is all. Jason threw 9 of them into one of the rooms where the bees where. It was called the Upper Room. So now tomorrow we will go back and see what happen. Remember one of these will cover 6000 Sq. Ft. This room was only 400 sq ft. I think is worked. The picture above show you the room. Plus the other picture is one of the foundations that the group before cleared off.

Good morning all

This is a small note. If you read the article below, you will noticed some words missing. The reason for that is for safety. They are keeping words out that might not be good words to write about. I really think is is funny how the article that you are reading below, fits so much in what I am telling you. There is really is no free press any more. Please I know they are only trying to protect their site and I understand that too. Just enjoy the article below and let me know what you think of it. I really do want to hear from people that read it. I see that there has been over 1650 hits since I started counting in May of this year. So I know someone is reading this and I would love to hear from you.

It is long BUT GOOD. Please read it.

I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT A HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CAN SEE THE PROBLEM, BUT NOT OUR SOCIETY. IF I OFFEND ANYONE BY THIS, I REALLY DON'T APOLOGIZE.This is a statement that was read over the PA system at the f ootball game at Roane County High School , Kingston , Tennessee , by school Principal, Jody McLeod'It has always been the custom at Roane County High School football games, to say a prayer and play the National Anthem, to honor God and Country.'Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a Prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at this time, I can use this public facility to approve of ual perversion and call it 'an alternate lifestyl e,' and if someone is offended, that's OK.I can use it to c ondone ual promiscuity, by dispensing s and calling it, 'safe .' If someone is offended, that's OK.I can even use this public facility to present the merits of an unborn baby as a 'viable means of birth control.' If someone is offended, no problem...I can designate a school day as 'Earth Day' and involve students in activities to worship religiously and praise the goddess 'Mother Earth' and call it 'ecology.'I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classroom that depicts people with strong, traditional Christian convictions as 'simple minded' and 'ignorant' and call it 'enlightenment.'However, if anyone uses this facility to honor GOD and to ask HIM to Bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, then Federal Case Law is violated. This appears to be inconsistent at best, and at worst, diabolical Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and anyone, except GOD and HIS Commandments.Ne v ertheless, as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and students to abide by rules with which they do not necessarily agree. For me to do otherwise would be inconsistent at best, and at worst, hypocritical... I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally. I certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression. For this reason, I shall 'Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's,' and refrain from praying at this time.' However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank GOD and ask HIM,in the name of JESUS, to Bless this event, please feel free to do so As far as I know, that's not against the law----yet.'One by one, the people in the stands bowed their heads, held hands with one another and began to pray. They prayed in the stands. They prayed in the team huddles. They prayed at the concession stand and they prayed in the Announcer's Box!The only place they didn't pray was in the Supreme Court of the United States of Ame RI ca- the Seat of 'Justice' in the 'one nation, under GOD.'Somehow, Kingston , Tennessee Remembered what so many have forgotten. We are given the Freedom OF Religion, not the FreedomFROM Religion. Praise GOD that HIS remnant remains!JESUS said, 'If you are ashamed of ME before men, then I will be ashamed of you before MY FATHER.' If you are not ashamed, pass this on . I'm not one bit ashamed to pass this on, Are you ?

Beautiful Christian Sister

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ
that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not shouting 'I'm clean livin,'
I'm whispering 'I was lost, Now I'm found and forgiven'
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say.. 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain...
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say... 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!
Pretty is as Pretty does... but beautiful is just plain beautiful!

This is a concert I was at last night.

Workshipping God

last night was a great night. I took a friend, Marvin to a church called Grace. It's concert was to raise funds, food and clothing for the people of Inagua. These people I have took you about before. That is where the Patmos kids went to help repair roofs. They had music artist there. It was a good time just to get back on track with Him. The people performing are names that you would not know in the states. But here they are all well known. The picture above is near the end of our time together. These were the people that needed prayer. But like I said it really was a good time to sing and listen to young voices that are praising God. I will be talking with you soon.

Signs of a Stroke

A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke... totally . He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE
Thank God for the sense to remember the '3' steps, STR . Read and Learn!
Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:
S * Ask the individual to SMILE.
T * Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently)
???????(i.e. It is sunny out today)
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.
If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call 999/911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue
NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other , that is also an indication of a stroke.

Hello from the islands.

I just want to say thank you to all of you out there that have been praying for me. The reason i say that, is because if you have not been, PLEASE do so. This last week just has been a rough one. Just one thing I will share with you. We have this large lawn mower, it is a Troy Bilt. The name is a good one and it has been faithful for the last 20 years. BUT it is coming to it last days. I have rebuilt the things that run the blades three times. Then I get a flat tyre. Repair it and I have another the other side go flat. The shifter, that is what drives it. It has broken two times. I have welded it seven time. Reason I an not that good of a welder. That is still working great. But I go yesterday out to get it. Flat tyre. What is He trying to show me???? Yes He wants us to buy a NEW ONE. That is TOM idea. No He wants me to learn more about welding and fixing things. So If you could say a prayer for me and maybe I can make it thought today.
I will take a picture of this great machine and you can see for yourself what I am talking about.

He Keeps Watch

“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch upon the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3).
Everyone has seasons when they feel overwhelmed by the busyness of life. In fact, one of the tricks of the enemy is to get you so caught up in the everyday “hustle and bustle” so that he can distract you and make you feel disconnected from the Father. But no matter how overwhelmed you may feel, you can find rest in knowing that the eyes of the Lord are upon you. He sees everything you are going through and everything you are facing. He knows where you are right now, and He knows how to get you to where you need to go. He knows what you need, and He knows how to provide for you.
All He asks is that you stay in faith and obey His Word. The Psalmist said, “I have been young and I have been old, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.” Remember, God is faithful! He’s keeping watch over you. He’s keeping watch over your family. He’s keeping watch over His Word to bring it to pass in your life! Stand strong today knowing that you serve the God who sees and makes a way for you!
A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for watching over me and making a way even when there seems to be no way. I trust that You will never leave me nor forsake me. I bless Your name today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him.
Selah
