I have lost a tooth. No it was two teeth, one was on a bridge.

Yesterday I went to the dentist and she pulled one of my teeth. That happen around 2;30pm. Then at 5pm my mouth was hurting. I took a couple of ibuprofen and by 9pm I was ready for bed. I got up this morning and I fell pretty good. I just want to let everyone know I will make it through another day by His grace and the pills the dentist gave me.
Now I need around $800.00 to finish the crown she started last year. Then another $600.00 for a plate to replace the two teeth that are missing now.

This really is for the Bahamain people that are traveling during this Christmas season.

Help us get this information out to make sure you are not overcharged on your return. Also ensure that when you are filling out the declaration form at the airport, you use the same descriptions used on this form to get the proper rates, and most of all
1. DO NOT COMBINE DESCRIPTIONS. Avoid the use of easy words like "toiletries","food stuff","Hardware","household items", "groceries","Miscellaneous."
2. Manage your Exemptions, this is almost the end of the year and so make sure that you use any remaining exemptions as they will not be eligible for use in January 2011. Your personal exemption is $300/person, twice a year for all residents over the age of 12 years old. It is applicable only for personal goods and NOT COMMERCIAL GOODS. Insist that the exemption is taken from the items of the higher rates of duty, that is your right to chose which items are exempt.
3. The Customs Forms should be completed One Form Per Family, Per Household. This means as long as you are in the same immediate family, and live in the same household you can fill in one form. This means if you are traveling with your mother and you do not live in the same house you will have to complete two separate forms or if you are traveling with a friend and you r live in the same home, you will also have to complete separate forms.
4. If you want a copy of your invoices, you may Copy Your Invoices Prior to Coming to Customs. Take them to Kinko's or another company that copies in the USA. You may submit the copies to Customs once they are clear copies. The officer may ask to view the original for verification. You have a right to insist on keeping the originals, only if the copies are fully legible and has all of the relevant information on them. Please understand that, while customs will accommodate you in copying your invoices when we can, it slows down the processing time for the persons behind you in line.
Being prepared before your travel speeds up the process so stop into one of the Customs locations prior to your trip and complete your form before you arrive. Itemize all of your items and organize your invoices. Use as many forms as you need to complete a thorough declaration and staple them together if needs be.

I will call this, what happens when you don't listen.

Many years ago. Around the age of 12 or so. I went to the dentist, first time. I was told then that I had a baker's dozen of cavities (13). Which meant I had to take a city bus every day after school to go get these cavities filled. I hated every minute of that trip and the time when the dentist worked on my teeth. His hands were so big and I remember him saying open up MORE. Now the point I am trying to make is. If you have not been to the dentist in a while. Please go and get what ever needs done. The reason is you might end up as I have at this point of my life.
My sister, her hubby and myself went out to have a nice dinner. I got a steak and while chewing, boy what a surprise. I must have hit a bad spot. Boy did that hurt. I talked to a friend (Bill) and he told me about this dentist that has big hands. I called and made appointment and was told it was $75.00. I went and boy he was a tall man. His hands could hold a basketball, with no trouble. He looked and told me I have three options.
1) Pull the bridge off and have a root canal - $1000.00
2) If the bridge breaks there is another $2000.00
3) Cut the bridge and pull the tooth plus the fate tooth too. Then there will be a hole there.
He only charged me $45.00 that alone was a blessing too.
So after leaving him I talked with a guy from Calvary that is a dentist and he said pull it it the cheapness way. - $250.00 plus
So I got back here at Nassau and saw my dentist yesterday and we came up with. Next Tuesday, pull the tooth. plus the fate one. -$175.00 Then down the road get a plate and have two teeth attacked- $550.00 to $1200.00
So please if you think of me during Tuesday or when ever. say a couple of prayers. I really STILL DON"T LIKE GOING TO THE DENTIST.
Oh I have had work done before this happen.

The reason I say this is right now I am siting in McDonald's with no phone or numbers to call people. Which means He is running the show and I trust Him and that is pretty much all that is happening.

Hey out there

I am so sorry if you have been trying to get a hold of me, by cell phone. I still am with out a cell phone here. I have asked people to look and pray and it just has not happen. It is funny how sometimes we think we need something so bad, that I asked and ask others to look and pretty much was saying where is it God? Well tomorrow morning I fly out and still don't have my cell for here. But I know I have a ride plus I have told Joseph and Jeremaih to meet at Calvary circle parking lot tomorrow at 5:30am. So I guess I really don't need my phone after all. But it sure would have made me feel better IF I had it. Like I said He has my back and He will work this trip out to the end.
I am sorry for not talking with everyone this time in town. Plus saying good bye to all that I have talked with. But I am saying thank you very much for your prayers and your time too.
I will e mail Bill about the phone and maybe next time I should be okay with another one. The phone is not the problem, it is the phone is in a friend's name and I just don't want him to have to worry about it. But I havbe called myself many times and it goes to voice mail. So it must still be hinding some where. The reason I sya this is I turned it off during Pastor Bob's teaching last night and to me means the phone is still turned off or someone has taken the chip out of it and they will not use it. The real funny part is I bouught the phone last year for $19.99 at Wall Mart. So that is how it goes.

Well hello all,

My time here is wining down. I will be flying out tomorrow at 8am. Let me just share a couple of items that have been going on.
I came in on Tuesday and Jon picked me up and I spend most of the day with him. Then Wednesday I meet with the 8th graders at Calvary Chapel, Ft laud. I have pictures to share but I am having some trouble down loading them. I will try again after this log it.
I had a chance to spend the whole day with them. I had 4 classes to share. There was two more the next day but I had to get my CDL taken care of that morning. But durning my time with the students I shared what we do and showed them some pictures of where they will be servicing at. They all are coming over on Jan 2 to the 8th of 2011. Which just around the corner. It really was a nice time and I think they had a good time too.Had a great time with my sister and her hubby, Betsy and Lenny. We all went out to dinner and I ate good. If you know me, free food, I eat more than I should. It really was nice time and get caught up and just see them again.
Thursday was to get CDL straight. I can tell you this, if you need to renew your CDL license, please make appointment. I made my about two months ago, I just walked in and was taken care of in 20 minutes. But there is one sad part, I have what they call HM. with means, hazard material license. To renew that you have to take a 30 questions test. With I didn't know at the time. So I was not really ready to take it. I took it twice and FUNKED it. I guess God is saying I don't need it for His work. I did get my CDL renewed and ready for another 6 years. The reason of the day I went shopping, Home Depot, Wall Mart, Lowes and pretty much a few others. Buying Christmas lights for over there, Our drive thru is right around the corner and we need a lot. I spent around $1200.on lights and things we need.
OH one more thing happen this day. I started getting pain in one of my teeth. I talked to a freind here and he told me about his dentist. I wnet and was told I need about $3000.00 worth of work to save my two teeth. Or pull the bad one and loose the one next to it. There is a brigde between them. I saw a another dentist last night and he told me to get the root cannal. I told him I still need my teeth fixed. Oh well what does our LORD have for me to do?
Friday I had meeting with some people that will be coming over next year. the over seers of Family Ministry. Wendy that helps us with ALC things. Then I spent about a hour with the group of 4th graders. These kids have been praying for me since school as started. I knew of them, but I have not found out who they were until Thursday after noon after talking with the Out Reach ministry. They are the ones that set up for missionaries to have a class praying for them. It was nice, i got to show them a DVD about what we do there and tell them something about myself. I really did have fun with them. I look forward in keeping in touch with them. Maybe next time in town I can see them again.
Saturday, more shopping. While here I found out that our neighbors came over and took my floor jack. So I bought another one at Sears. hey if you not been at Sears for a while check them out. They have a lot of good stuff. That day I took all of our things down to the shipping company to ship over for us. Then I went to Calvary for service and guess what I LOST my cell phone there. I have like three or more of people looking for me as I write this out. Cell phones I live on it, during my time here and now what do I do? Please if you read this, say a prayer or two for me to keep calm and give it up to the Lord. He is the One that is right along side me and I just will have to depend on Him. That is a good thing to depend on.
Today I am in McDonald's doing this and just relaxing. I would love to get back in bed and rest there. But I want to check Calvary one more time before I do that.

The FIX

There recently was an article in the St. Petersburg , Fl. Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,

Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.
You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan":

There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations:

1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.

2) They MUST buy a new AMERICAN Car. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.

3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.

It can't get any easier than that!!
P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes...

Mr. President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto!
