During the Holidays I get a chance to feed my little friends at the ALC

I am so blessed to call these guys my friends too. During the holidays Our guy, Mr Sean has these days off. I try to help out by feeding everyone. So when I walk into the petting farm. I get greeted by everyone. But the joy is after I am done feeding them. I don't hear a beep. They are all eating and enjoying their food. Oh you can see how happy Scooby it too. He just loves to take rides with me and he will sit in that truck as long as he wants to. 

Hey the first picture of Samson and Scooby. It really is neat how good these two are  getting along. At first I know Scooby just wanted to run and play with him. But Samson saw this big bear coming towards him and he just wanted to get out of the way. Now they do well together. 

I had a chance to take my frineds to the airport yesterday

That right the Slater's are on their way to Wisconsin. They left yesterday around 4pm. These guys are very generous. These are the clothes they gave me on Christmas. I have been very blessed to have friends like them for many years. If you look back in my blog, I have been here with out family around . But like these guys, they are family. Plus like I on my birthday, Tim and his family invited me over to spend the evening with them. So we are not related by blood, but by His Blood. Thank you Lord for these blessing each and every day I have been here. It really has been a wonderful Christmas. Plus too, how Face Book keeps me connected with my real family back in the states. I just want to let every one know how much I love them and look forward in seeing all that will happen this next year. I know I should not use names, because I will not say some one's and they might feel I dont' love them. Please folks I love you all.

Okay I watched A Christmas Story 2 on Solar Movies. Yoy can see what happen. I was on there for 72 minutes and this came up. Okay now I can buy the movie, I have seen 3/4 of it. Why would I want to buy now? Not cool!

Valley Boys Junkanoo on Boxing Day 2012

That right is is Junkanoo time again here in the Bahamas. I have been part of this parade for many years here.  I should not say partof it. I mean I would go and watch it. I am sorry but this year I am at home watching it on ZNS. I thought you might enjoy seeing something that we do here in the Bahamas every Boxing Day and this coming New Years Day too. It really is neat to be part of it. You know stand there and watch and you get into the beat. Like I have said before I would go down to Bay Street around 6am and watch it. The reason I say 6 am? Well this really starts at 12 midnight. Then goes on until it finishes around 10am. It is all night and day ting to go see. Myself, I would just go down and watch for a while and then go get some breakfast and come on back home. I hope you enjoy this. There are other videos on this too. Just watch this one and more will come up. Enjoy your Boxing Day! 

It is Christmas morning at Calvary Bible.

It was so cute how we had our Christmas service. First of all Vanna did a short skit. She had children hold props in their hands. Okay now they had to put them in order. Okay this was the order she wanted. Donkey, Baby Jesus, Angel wings,sheep and a crown. I was looking at it and saying what? Okay now think of the story about Jesus's birth?

Then Jesus was born in a manger

The Angel appeared to the Shepard's.

Then the Shepard's came to visit Him

Then the Wise Men came. (how many you ask?)

 Well the Bible doesn't tell us, does it? They brought with them. They open their treasure chests and gave Him gifts of gold,frankincense and myrrh. But it doesn't say three wise men? It only tells of the treasures they brought to give Him. 

Then you can see Mark and our puppet stage. Mark and Sam did a skit on, what is the most important gift? Okay now just think about this for a mnute. It is not what you have received for Christmas? (gifts) It is why Christmas was made in the first place. The gift is Jesus Christ. He came to this world to save us. Through Him our live have been saved. All you need to do it ask Him into your heart. That is a gift that keeps on giving. As you have all these toys, they will all end up in the trash can. But this gift is going to be with you always. Plus just knowing that we have salavtion throught it too. That means if you ask Jesus Christ in your heart, you are going to heavan.

Enemy, Michell,Veda and her daughter Jordan. It was so nice to just stand around and have a nice little talk. These two ladies have been trying to get me to go out and have some dinner with them. Okay back in November, they had they turkey dinner. I was in Fort Lauderdale. Then Dec 21st they had Single Christmas dinner. I have been sick. Then on Dec 23rd they all went out again to Outback Steak House. To give me a birthday dinner, still under the weather. I really wish I could have been to ad least one of them. They are always thinking about others and willing to spend time and just have some good fun too. Prayerfully the next time I will be there. 

It is Christmas dinner at the Slater's

I was very blessed yesterday to be able to go visit my friends the Slater's It was neat to just sitting around and trying to get some what caught up on all that has been happening. You know how it gets, doing work at ALC, Billy having people over to do work projects and staying there too. He was telling me about how nice the chapel is looking. About a month or so, there were about 8 people staying at his home, during that time they painted the out side and inside of the chapel. Plus cleaning around the house too. It really was good to just relax and do some talking. Today they will be flying out to go back to Wisconsin. They will be there for about a month or so. He was telling just the air line tickets cost almost $2000.00 So why not stay a little longer. 

That was something we talked about too, how important is our family? It really hits a nerve when I talk about family. As I have said before, family should be next after God in that order. The reason is, when they pass they are no longer here. You can not replace them with toys or tings or anything like that. They are gone, prayerfully I will see them again in Heaven. I did get  a couple of e mails from my family, they meet at Bonita home in Winter Haven, Fl. That was Greg, Jon and Deb. I really wish I could have been there. 

Crazy time at the mall. Such a Joyfull time. People trying to find the best gifts. Still was crazy.

Thats right I went to the mall last night, Christmas EVE. Boy I have seen the parking lot full, but wow. I just walked around and wished people Merry Christmas. Got to see Kevin at work. He was in the back building bicycles. I saw his aunt and she went in back and got him to come out for a minute. We talked about what we will be doing after work. Just small talk. But it was sure good to see him again. It is funny, but I really miss him being around and just hanging out. He wasn't getting out until 6:45pm. So I drove back home and watched the news. 

I have been very blessed to enjoy a wonderful night and just feeling better too. If you didn't know I have been under the weather since my birthday 17th. But yesterday I got up and went to work and boy I feel much better. I think sometime I laying around makes me feel even worst. So after cleaning the maintenance trailer out and just fitting ting around a little. That is all I needed to feel better. Getting off my butt. 

This is how I spent Christmas Eve

That right we sat around and ate some pizza and then watched a movie. Santa Claus. It was very nice to watch a movie with others. You know the laughing and just asking questions, like I remember that part. Just good old fun. I picked Kevin up at work last night 6:45pm. Brought him back home here. Just a good time. I had to drive him back to his mom's last night. The reason is he needed to help do the cooking and just get the house in order for today. I guess his sisters are coming over for dinner? I wished Kim and Mr Fernder a Merry Christmas and came back home waiting on Santa Claus to come. 

Hey I just got this from a friend in Florida

I am very blessed to have frineds like Rose. She loves dogs very much. So when ever she gets something about small dogs, she love to share. I really thought you guys would enjoy a laugh or two. Merry Christmas to you all.

I am some what out of the loop of all that is going on in this world somedays. Not having cable,but I found this and love to share it with the rest of you.

It is just amazing how electric toys have changed over the years

That right I got my new TV. I bought back in Nov at Target. Had it shipped over here and I have it now hooked up. Boy that old one was sure heavy too. But the new one fits in prefix. I did buy a wall mount for it. But I guess this will be good for now. I watched a couple of movies yesterday and the picture is great. It is so neat to see how far our lives have come over the years. I remember when I was around 15 or so years old. My buddy, Don Same's dad got a color TV. It was the first one in the neighborhood. I can remember. Boy was that neat to see. I really don't remember when we got ours, it must have been shortly after that. I do remember my dad buying us a Stereo. You know all in one kind. It was a coffee table style. You pulled out the drawer and there is was, turn table and radio all in one. The speaker were on the end of the table. It really was neat to be one of the first to get one of them. 

Getting back to the size of TVs. This one has to weight around 45 pounds. The new one is 6 pounds. WOW. Plus the picture is so much better too. 

Now what do I do with this big one? I will store it and see what happens. Maybe a museum might want it? 

Okay this looks like someone has been writing on him again.

Well if it looks like a tattoo, it must be a tattoo? Right? Okay he is 18 years old, right? Okay I picked him up at work on Saturday night. Driving back to my place, he ask me what I thought about tattoo's? Well I told him I have one on my left arm. Then I said, please make sure IF you get one that it can be covered over. You know, like a shirt sleeve. Then I asked if he asked his mom? He no, but he tried to tell her about what he wanted. So stilling driving home I asked him why are you so much asking about tattoo's? Then he told me that there was this great deal at the tattoos shop across the mall. They usually do them for $100.00. But during this Christmas they were running a special. Kevin really never did tell how much, he said $35.00 and up to $50.00. So I guess he got the $50.00 deal? 

Hey I know the Bible talks about not marking up your body. But he is 18 and I guess that is up to him. I really think it looks pretty good, myself. Now like I said I have one too. This was back when I was when I was 45 years old. I was going through that time of my life, questioning have I done every thing I want to? Plus I had a motor bike too. Honda 750 Rebel. (1976) Right after getting the tattoo, I shaved my head too. Boy I really wanted to try something new. Just before that time, I had a pony tail too. 

Okay this was all before I became a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN. 

Hey I still shave my head ever once and while. Buy no pony tail. Oh that right if you look below you can have some what a idea how I looked. There are a couple of pictures with me having wigs on. Below. 

Okay I guess you are never to old to have a birthday party?

That right on Tuesday I went over to The Ryans' to have dinner. I got there and Rechelle came running out to give me a big hug. Then she tried to put my birthday hat on. If look yes, I am submitting and wearing a nice birthday hat. Shadow,Fleicia and Tim greeted me to at the door. You know when you are loved. Which I believe is because of Chrsit. We are family and no one can ever take that away. 

It was very nice of them to invite me over and eat a great steak sandwich plus all the fittings. We just sat around and talked about different times of our lives. I shared about the birthday party that rocked my world. I was 7 years old.  The reason I remember so well, my dad had a 8 mm camera (movie) He took movies of us during that time of my life. I took those movies down around 1990 and switched them to Video. Then about 8 years ago. I had them switched to DVD. I still have it and I believe this is one of the most parts of all I have, I cherish. I had a chance when I was in town last month. To share it with my family. It really was neat to watch and remember my pass. 

I have been telling people to take out your video cameras and get as many as possible of your family. Like I said I really believe you will not regret it. 

As I was leaving the Ryans' home I started to feel not to good. It was not the food, it is the flu. I have been staying home now the last two days. Trying to get rite of it. 

Hopefully today I will be up and running again. I really hate to get sick, at any time. But I know if I keep pushing I will not get better. So we will see what happens today. 

Yes I know I am 62 years old now. That really doesn't change the fact. It is just the flu.
