I went to Calvary Assembly Church yesterday

I went on the inter net yesterday morning, looking for a Calvary Chapel. This is what came up. I got there and had a chance to talk with the Pastor Michael. I told him I was from Calvary Chapel and he told me that he still loved me. Plus loves Calvary. I thought to myself what? Then during worship it hit me This is not Calvary Chapel.
Had a beautiful time of worship and just enjoying it. Then the Pastor came out and spoke on Tongues and Prophecy. I turned into my Bible 1 Corinthians 14. That is where Paul talks about tongues. He went down a road about how he was taught that tongues dead when the apostles passed. Then said, he found the truth. That is what Assembly teaches that it is still a live. Well I have been taught the same, it dead with the apostles death. By listening to him, he really didn't real push the it, to hard. But he made his case. I listened and enjoyed the teaching, he needed to use go to the Bible more. It was pretty much him talking about it. He did use 1 Corinthian 14, but hopped around. Like I said it was okay.

Then during the afternoon, Bonita and I went to Sonny's Barq. Really a relaxing day. It started raining and really could not do much more than watch TV.
Today is our day to get rit of stuff. While Greg was here during Saturday, we cleaned out the Florida room. A lot of empty boxes and some furniture. Should be a fun day?

I am a couple of days behind. Inter net in and out.

The first shot is my friend Pastor Lee and I. I had a chance to drive over to Tampa area on Friday morning. So we meet at a place called the First Watch. Had a nice lunch and just sat around trying to get some what caught up. It was so good to see him and just hang out a little. He has been my Spiritual dad since I have lived in Nassau, Bahamas.
So after our time, I started to drive to another place, Davis Island. On the way there, I saw a place that does brakes for $69.00. So I have all ready got the parts, I thought? So I talked with Tim, he said he would be able to do it for $50.00. I said, go for it. So as I was talking with John the guy doing the work. We fond out I had the wrong rotors. So by God's grace there is a Advance Auto a block down the road. I walked and took the other rotors back and they sold the correct ones, at a little more funds. Not bad, hey I got the correct set up now. Plus I asked about flushing the radiator out too. So I went over to O'Ralley Auto, which was across the street. Got flush and anti freeze too. We only put the flush in and I will drive for a while to clean the system out.
Okay now drive over to Davis Island. This is the place where my friend Lynn lives now. I got there and just had a nice time. We drove around the island and she showed the place off. Then got back to her place and had dinner. Mean while a friend of her's came to visit too. That is why I could stay over night. We all sat around and just hung out and nice little talks about how our Lord has been doing different things in all our lives. The pictures of the two girls is Jenny and Lynn. See my bedroom. Then this is the house she is renting for now.
We had some breakfast and I left for Bonita, home. You can see all the rest of the day below.
Thank you so much for your prayers and looking forward in going to church in a hour or so.

A little family get together

These guys and gals are my cousins. Left to right is Greg,Mark,Bonita,Deb and Jon her hubby.
I will be staying here in Winter Haven for a little while longer. So while here We had a chance to get together and have some fun and food. I love these guys very much and just enjoy their company. As the day was going by, Greg and I had a great time to just hang out and talk a little. He will be moving here form Orlando, in Sept. His plans are to move here and help Bonita out a little and save up to buy a mobile home down the road.

That right I am on the road again.

Yesterday my morning came early. I thought I needed to be at my cousin's home by 9:30am. Thinking she told me that she had a doctors' appointment? But I rushed for no reason. It is today she needs to be there. Okay driving here I used the Turn Pike for about 40 miles. I bought a Sun Pass on Monday at Public and did the set up on line. Thinking all is well. I got on  the Turn Pike and the sign told me that my plate was invalided. Which I am not sure what that means. Maybe it is because it is a temp plate.

So I am in Auburndale, Fl. This is where my cousin lives. There is brand new McDonald's here now. It was not here last year when I visited back then. Now I was here a about two months ago. I don't think I told you about this. Trying to keep you up to date.
Today is the doctors ting for Bonita. After that I will be driving to Tampa area, to have lunch with Pastor Allen Lee. I sure am looking forward in see him. Hope to visit another friend while there too.
Hope to take some pictures today. I am doing okay, just not to keen on living out of a suit case. It really is not my cup of coffee. I like coffee more that tea.
Enjoy you Friday and pray all is well in your lives today.

What you can get for $3.88 at Walmart.

Since I have been here I have eaten pretty much every where there is a deal. The reason is, I don't have my own place, yet. So for the next couple of weeks. This it is going to be. But around the 28th or so, I should be able to go shopping and cooking and all those neat things. I remember back in the 1972 or around then. I was becoming a store manger, Kenny Shoes. I moved from Ann Arbor, Mich to Toledo, Ohio. So when staying in a hotel, I had to eat out every day until I found a place to live. So I was getting like $20.00 a day to eat out. That was the deal we made while taking over a Kenny Shoe store there.
Boy I remember the first thing I did right after I found a place to live, I went out and bought baloney and bread and made a sandwich. It was great to just sit in your home and relax. I am sure looking forward in that day.
Now tomorrow I will be driving up north to spend some time with family and friends. So I will not be blogging tomorrow. I do ask for prayer. This truck I bought is used and I know it needs front brakes and maybe some thing else. So I ask for prayer for traveling and just making it up there safe.
Today is a day to go out and do a little bicycles ride. If the rain stays away?

I was out again spending money yesterday

I went out on Friday or maybe Thursday, I bought the spindle for the Mazda truck back in Nassau. They didn't have in in stock. so they got it yesterday afternoon. While there I asked about a name plate for my truck here. He said go out and look, there should be one out there some place? So I walked out back and found a old Ford Ranger sitting there. I didn't have any tools at all. Okay now how am I going to get this off? I looked and found a saw zaw blade laying there on the ground. It worked out great. It was strong enough to pull on and even cut the glue behind the plate. I walked back into the office and he told me to go ahead, no charge. Now the spindle cost me $78.00. But the Mazda needs it and that is one part you can not weld. So this should work out great for Bob. Plus I went on line and found the rest of the parts he will need. I wrote him yesterday and will see today what he thinks.

Is our Lord not GREAT?

Yesterday I went over to Dana and John's home. These are the two friends that have let me use this bike. I went over to ask them if they would be willing to sell me the bike? John came out and looked at and said wow, you are sure taking care of this? I was telling him how much I have been riding and and enjoying it too. He told me that he would love to give it to me. Which I said thank you very much. I am driving up north this Thursday, I really wanted to bring it with me, to ride up there. You know just enjoy a nice ride some where new.
Okay what Has HE DONE for you today? Just look back and you will see His hands on something?
Remember to Thank you HIM TOO.

Let us replace some lumber

I know yesterday was our Sabbath? Today I will take it. Hey Dennis has let me stay at his home for a while now. They don't ask for any thing since I have been here. So if I can help out, no problem. But near the end of the day was hurting. Remember I have not did any hard work for a while now.
At the end of the day, we could look back and say thank you Lord for a wonderful day. The sun was behind clouds all day long, so the breeze was cooling.
I look at Dennis and tell him every time how he take on jobs that most people would not. That to me is taking ownership and just some hard work and think about the savings too.

When I grow up I want to be a big truck like this one.

Now that is a TRUCK! Sure is pretty too.

Another day to do a ride.

I have been so blessed for these last couple of days. I have spent some money that He provided. So as thing keep going I know it is His funds, not mine. I just need to be wise on what and why I buy stuff. pretty much since I have been here, my big expense has been the new old truck I bought. I knew I would have to put some money into it. It has been a bitter sweet time. I believe it is road ready now. I will be driving up north next week. The reason is two. The place I am staying, Dennis's. His sister is coming to town 19-28 and they need my room. Then when I get back around the 28, I can move into my new place. The room I will be renting from Larry. That guy that lives there now, will be moved out on that day. So as it is now, I should leave on the 18th and drive north and visit my cousins and other family.

During the ride I noticed my back tire was not running straight. So I stopped by a bike shop just down the road from Dennis's place. Meet a really nice guy, Bob, sales. He took my bike in and had one of the guys there take a look. Well he told me that I need a new rim. So guess what I had to do? That right spend my money. $68.00. The guy took his time and went over the bike very slowly and fitted what ever was wrong. So I guess it really was worth the stop. Now looking around, I saw this bike. That right the price tag is $10,499.00 It a bike. How could any one spend that kind of money on a bike.

Checking off my list and making sure all is well with the truck.

Okay before I talk about the truck. During the time they were working on it. I went over to Subway and had lunch. You know $5.30 6" tuna, chips and drink.
While sitting there, I saw two officers drive in on bikes. So after they got their lunch, getting drink refills. I asked one of them this question, why do you get off the bike on the right hand side? He looked at me and said, we are trainer to do that. Now I was thinking because of traffic? He no, it is saver to get off the Right hand side, the shield is bigger. What he was saying was, that would protect them better on that side. Now how about if the shooter is on the right side? Just think, how do you get on a horse, bicycle.
 I guess I need a life?
Okay after buying the truck, I knew it needed a trans filter. The oil was brown. Plus smells a little burnt. Then the radiator, was water. Now folks, I just looked when buying? I just drove it and said okay, NOT SMART at all. I should have looked a lot closer, but like I said yesterday, I WANTED IT. I sure am a brat.
I really don't have any tools or even a place to do the work. So I went to Jiffy Lube, he told me that they do flush radiators, but not trans filters, which I thank him for being honest. So AMCCO was right across the street. Which I drove over there an talked with Lee, the owner. Real nice guy. He told me they would take care of me. Mean while I had a chance to talk with a young lady there,(Sam?) she was getting some work done too. She sat there and listen to all I had to say and was willing to just listen. It really was a nice time. Even Lee listen to my story. I believe my truck is in better shape now.
Now around 1pm, I had to meet Larry at his home to drop off the paper work for me to live there. Just driving around a little an looking and seeing how nice this place really is. I am so blessed. Thank you Jesus for the time yesterday and look forward in seeing what happens today.
Oh I got the spinal for the Mazda truck. It will be in on Monday morning. I will be sending the parts over then. I still need to make sure I have all that is needed to repair it right.

On Saturday we flew back home. Sept. 5thn 2026

Okay I got up early and took a drive. I went to Dunkin Donuts for 6 donuts and a couple of coffees. Oh, I got a couple of items for Billy. B...
