A Fun Day With Patmos

Good day my friends, Yesterday was our day to play games and get to know each other. That is Patmos students and ALC staff. Well we started out playing a game called Cop your aponet with your hands. All it was point to someone across from you and they have to rise their hands in the air the people around them have to act as they are copping at your stomach. If you don't react fast enough Pastor Chet tells you, you are out of the game. It really does get going faster and faster. Now the next one is the pictures you are looking at. The idea of this one is to be line up with your team and the first one runs down to the picnic table and eats a full banana, drinks down a coke and then you have to put your head on the top of the bat and spin around ten (10) times and then try to get back to touch your team mates hands so they can go next. It was a lot of students and staff trying to run and they pretty much fell down and then when you get back you just feel like you want to toss your cookies. But by Gods grace no one got sick. I have a mark on my knee from falling over. The two pictures you see are of Bran , he really wanted to get back to his team mates. But he fell down and even crawled back. Then the other picture is of Maren. You can see your face how she was pushing to get back to her team. There were about four other games we played too. Egg toss, but shaving cream on your face and your partner gets to throw cheese balls. The ones that stick you can count. One guy he had all 10 of them stuck to his face. Then the last game was get the pig. That is when you have two sides. Guys and s, line up and Pastor Chet calls out your number and you need to get the pig back to your side to win. We didn't use a real pig, it was a melon then two melons. After that it was time to eat some pizza and just fellowship. They night ended was a time of worship and then Pastor Chet did a message on Josiah and how he was a fighter and Moses is and this was the time to say if you where to stay on with Patmos or not. By the end of the night, they ALL said that they will stay and go through the next 15 weeks and be willing to just push forward. So please keep them in prayer. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the rest of your Labor Day week-end.

It really neat to watch our new school being built right here on the same property that the old school is standing.

This was the first part of putting up the walls (Oct. 29th) at our NEW WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL. Our Principal, Mr. Alfonso tells us that all of...
