This is how I remember my Christmas's up north. Rochester, New York. It was so peaceful and lovely. I am looking forward in going north this coming year. Not so much Rochester. But North Caroline. I have been praying about taking some time away from here. I will ask now for your prayers to help this happen. (God Willing)
It has been a wonderful time helping out here and trying to keep up with all that breaks and just wears out. I have always had a vacation during my time here. But during those times. I was always trying to raise funds so I can stay here. This time it will not be about that. I know God has called me here and I have been taken care of every since that day I came. So I know He is doing it for me. So when I go north next year, looking at three weeks to a month of quite time and reflex on Him. I have told that I have a place to stay. I will be helping them out a couple of days a week. But I will have my own time too. So if you think of me, please say a prayer for this time. Folks I have been here at the ALC now for 4 1/2 years. I have been told that there has not been a Maintenance guy stay as long as I have.
I was talking with a friend about a month ago, Billy. He was telling me that he himself needed to take time away from this place while he was here. He is the one that thought about this place in North Caroline. His mother in law stays at this place herself. They have a small cabin in the woods there that no is using at the time. He asked if there is any time open for me to come. The guy told him during January would be the best. So please if you think of me, say prayer or two.
