What did we do this week-end.?

Really not that much. Kevin and I laid around most of time. You know doing tings on computers and watching videos. Really was a nice relaxing time.
Yesterday was a day that is set aside for celebrating freedom from slavery. The name is called August Monday, Emancipation Day. A note on this: I am sitting here asking God what and how do I spell this day out? I look to my right and see a old paper sitting there. I looked at it and found this add about the closing of banks on this day. Is God listening to US. He sure is and you just need to think it and He is there. This is how I can live with Him and know He is right along side of me each and every day. You can see the picture above of ad.
So around 6pm last night we all got together and had some good old ribs and chicken and salads and great cheese cake too.
I am so blessed to be part of this group, They gave me a card and some funds for the lost of my sister too. They really do love me and I love them too.
Plus Ambrose got a card too. That one was for his service in the Royal Bahama's Police Force. 25 years he has been part of these men and women that keep our islands save from crime and what ever happens here. 25 years doing that really can take a total on any one. He has been blessed having good friends and family support him. Plus prayer is the really only way he is making it through these days.
The tree that was planet was a movement that a group called We The People, started a while back. Bahamians were to planet a tree in their yards. We need to keep adding trees to this island. The reason is each day tree are up rooter and disposed. We need trees more than ever.
