Okay, my plans are on the 19th to fly up to Baltimore, Md. Let me back up a little. About three weeks ago, I have been trying to get a hold of a old friend that lives in Baltimore. While trying to find out if I could stay with him and his family. I was looking for tickets. I got one last week for $352.98. I said wow that is great, flight and car for 7 days. Well what happen I kept trying to get a hold of my friend. I found out they were in California. There they were getting their daughter set up to go to collage there. They have been gone for two weeks. Okay I got hold of him on Monday night? They said I was welcomed. Got back on line and found the next best rate. I prayed before I looked, I said, Lord if everything is less than $400.00 I will take it. I got a flight and car for $398.99. Pretty close.
Why the train station? Okay I will be flying out at 7:15am. I really hate to ask someone for a ride at 5am. So I said let me see how this works out. The Tri Rail came at 4:49 am. We had three stops before the Fort Lauderdale airport. Mean while pulling into the Broward Station, the doors would not open up. We sat there for 15 minutes. Then got to the air port station. Had to wait on a shuttle. It came in about 10 minutes. Now the time is winding down???? Got dropped off at US Airlines. Walked in and the time was 5:58 am. Realize I was not flying US Air. I was on Spirit. So I had to walk to the next terminal. No problem still okay, 6:05 am. Should still be okay. I fly out 7:15 am.
This is where the doors would not open. After 15 minutes opened up.
This was the shuttle.
Wrong air lines. US Air
Walking over to Spirit Terminal.
Back on the Tri Rail
Watching the cars on 95.
Got off at Pompano Beach station, Sample Road. That is where I caught the Tri Rail at
See you can park your car or truck while you are gone. This way I don't have to wake some one up early to get a ride. Plus coming home , no hassles.
Going back here at 7:10 am
