I have made it here to the other side again. That right I am in Nassau Bahamas.

Well my trip was not with problems. As I try to be pretty much on my own sometimes, I kinda wish this time I asked for help. Okay this is what happen. When I travel, I like the idea of parking my truck at the Tri Rail and taking the train down to the airport. This way, I don't have to ask others to take me, plus I don't have to pay for parking at the airport. Okay now I was running pretty close to the time the train was to come into the station. I got to Sample Road station and looked for a parking space. Nothing there. Thinking okay now what do I do the train will be here in 5 minutes? I drove around twice looking for a spot. Nothing at all. I look up and see the train is coming NOW. I need to make a call. Drive to Cypress Creek station. I need to get going. I drove on 95 south to the station. Got there and saw the train take off from the station. Okay now I need to wait another hour for the next train.
While waiting I said Lord I need to get to the airport. I am flying out at 2:22 pm. It was 11:00 at the time I got to the station. Next train is at 11:58. I should be at the airport by 12:22. But I got there at 1:15 pm. You can see I made it anyway.

I am here and having a wonderful time. I was picked by Tim and will be staying here for my time. As yesterday came and went I was at the Adventure Learning Centre. I will share picture tomorrow on all that happen.
May you have a wonderful day and let us see what Our Lord has planned for today?

Well I guess it is time for a new one,

By looking at this ribbon on the back of my truck, it is falling apart. I will be flying out today at 2:22pm to go to New Providence, Bahamas. Which everyone else calls Nassau, Bahamas. That right folks I have some vacation time coming and it has been over a year since I left there. So this morning I will be taking the Tri Rail down to the Fort Lauderdale, airport. Meanwhile this morning I need to make sure the bag I am carrying it under the weight limit of 50 pounds. That is sometime my biggest challenging it keeping the bag weight lower than the airlines will allowed.
It is funny how I can go to Walmart at any time here and get pretty much anything I want. But as living in the Bahamas, it is some what more difficult to have the luxury. So has I ask people if there is anything I might be able to get for you before I come, the flood gates open up.
Folks I am not complaining at all, it just sometimes a  small challenge.
All I know is I really need to get away and just chill. My prayer for this trip is to get closer to God ad be able to hear His voice. As I am back in the states, I turn on the TV and that is my night. Please I am the one that makes that chose. So Lord if You would let me relax and just get away from the busiest of life here and let me hear You.
Please if you think of me at all, say a prayer or two.

This was my view on Friday morning.

I went outside to take this picture. I just thought about this being one of my mountain top views. Am I in Colorado? There was no other clouds that I could see. I thought it was beautiful and neat at the same time.
Well folks if you don't know, I will be going on vacation starting tomorrow afternoon. I fly out at 2:20pm..I will share more tomorrow morning.
May He bless your day and look forward in hearing about your mountain top views.

I just love checking tings out.

Back a little while, Coke came up with this idea to make our bottles of Coca Cola personal. Well in the spring I was up visiting my family in Orlando, Fl. I found a bottle with my name on it.

Well yesterday I was standing in line at Walmart and saw these now. This is Snickers way of making it personal. You all have seen the commercial about a guy being upset. Then taking a Snickers bar and turning back into who they normally are. I just thought it was funny and you all know how much I love to share.
The bar for me today is SATISFIES. I have Jesus and I know I will be okay.

When was the last time you had egg salad sandwich?

Just have a question? I was told many years ago, if the eggs are old it is a lot harder to peel them? I guess that person was correct on that. These were a pain. You can see I lost most of the egg in the shells.

But at the end, it was delicious.

When you ride a bicycle you have troubles some times.

Well last week I broke my rim, which I knew I would have to pay the piper. Go you a bike shop.

On my GPS I found this place. I called him and he gave me a price for a new rim $45.00. I thought that is not bad at all. So I drove over to his place and had my bike with me. He looked at the bike and said he gave me the wrong price for the wrong rim. My rim is made a little different than the one he told me over the phone. No problem, he told me that he could use my old spokes and have it ready is a day or so. Then I asked how much. He said $45.00, still. I asked don't you have to take the spokes off and redo them n the new rim. yes, that will be okay.

So on Saturday I went over and picked the bike up. Still $45.00. Thank you very much and I was a happy camper.

Okay I just went up the road on Monday. I was coming back home and the front tire started leaking. Come on, why? A friend picked me up and brought my bike and I back to my place. I loaded it up in the truck and went and see my old friend Pedrito. The reason was the tube I had as a spare had a hole in it. I guess someone at Walmart bought a new tube and put a old tube in the box. Then returned it. Oh well. I like visiting Pedrito. I got there and I had the tire off the rim already. So all he had to do is repair the liner that goes around the rim to protect the tube from the spokes. Then put the inside liner in and the tube. All he used was his hands and baby power.

He put baby power inside the tire itself and then put it on the tube and a little on the inside liner too. Then just worked it around and around. Then blew it up. Let the air back out and check to see if the tube could have gotten pinched.

Blew it up to around 90 pounds and here goes. I bought another tube too, for my spare one that I carry. All is well now and brought it back home and going for a ride today.

This a family business. His wife sit outsides and reads a book and comes in when you are ready to pay. Last Saturday his son was in the shop too. He seems like a very well behaved young man.

It is not prefect but it works for me.

On Saturday, Calvary had their Women's Conference.

This was theTheme.

Afterwards, this was their Word of HOPE.

You can see this place was rocking. Not sure of the numbers, but I can tell you, at lunch time. Our staff had to feed each one of these ladies and it went well. There was food stations on each side of the Sanctuary. Plus as our team of Events, we had every table and chair out ready for them.
It was refreshing during the lunch time, to have women come up to us and let us know how they really enjoyed their time and how well organize the food lines went and how fast they got out and back into the conference. The times were as followed. The doors opened at 8:30 am and the event started at 9:15am. Then at 11 am they were dismissed for lunch and back into the sanctuary by 12 noon to finish at 2 pm. As out team tried to keep up with trash and bathrooms. At the end of the day, I believe our Lord is the One to say He made it happen.
As we had church last night, this place needed to be cleaned and ready by 6 pm. I left at 4:30 pm and I was totally amazed at how great we all worked together as a team and I felt we were ready for church. I am sorry to say, I went home and crashed and didn't make out last night. But today I will be able to watch it on line as I eat my lunch.

Well yesterday I had a mission.

Last time out I found this in the middle of a intersection. Yes that is a Craftsmen ratchet. 1/4 " My God is so good to me, I was working on some plastic tables at Calvary, on Saturday. Thinking I need a 1/4 ratchet. Then as I rode on Monday, He gives one. Thinking now it needs to be repaired or replaced. Sears pretty much always takes back their tools.

Well I got to Sears and noticed my rear tire was rubbing on the brake. That means the rim is bent. So as I was checking it out. Noticed that a spoke was loose. So I looked up the closes bike shop. About two miles down the road. It is on Sample and west of US 1. Easy enough. Rode there and talked with the guy. He said you have more that a loose spoke. The rim is shot. Okay I guess I need to buy a new one? Sorry he tells me. Don't have any my size. So he loosen the brake  up and did his best to give it some room to go back and forth with out rubbing. Now I need to ride back home I am about 7 miles away. Lord help me please. Thinking if this spoke give out, I will be getting hurt for sure. Just think riding along and the spoke break off, then it gets tangled in with the rest. I will be flying. So I ride around 12 miles a hour. Got home by His Grace.

Not even two (2) minutes after getting home the rain came down in buckets. He is so good to me.

When you can see how Our Lord just blesses me with safety and provides my needs. It was worth the trip alone. Have a wonderful day and see how He works in your life. Keep your eyes open, sometimes you don't even see it happen. Enjoy.

I started out just riding down the road a little ways.

I was watching the sky for rain. It was over cast but not looking to bad. So I rode up to my dad's old place. This is Sandal Foot Cove, area. This is the club house. I remember many days spending time up at the pool, when I would come to visit. Then after I moved in to my uncle house 1986. That is a story alone. But I did live here in Sandal Foot for four (4) years or so.

This is looking at the tenth hole on the golf course.

Number nine (large course) Nine of the small course,(on your right). Oh there are two courses here. The small one is nine holes par 3. The large one is called the Boca Dunes now. That is a 18 holes par 72

This is the swimming pool.

This was my folk's place. Back in 1977 my dad and step mom moved into this place. My dad retreated from selling cars, pretty much his whole life. That was in Rochester, New York. Back then I use to fly down from Cleveland, Ohio and spend a week or so with them. In 1987, Carma (second wife) and I moved into one of my dad's sister's house here in Sandal Foot. Then moved out around 1991 or so. As my folks were getting older I use to keep this place up. The sad part is back in 2008, my mom passed and we sold this place to the first person that walked in. Sold it for pennies. But now there is a couple of folks living in it and sad part, not really taking to good of care of it.

But I can tell you this, No one can take away the great memories I have when my folks were still alive, living here. It was a enjoyable trip today just to going down memory lane.

God is NEVER IN A HURRY, Thank you Betty.

God is Never in a Hurry

daily devotionals
Don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed.James 1:4 (MSG)
Be patient with God and with yourself. One of life’s frustrations is that God’s timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God isn’t. You may feel frustrated with the seemingly slow progress you’re making in life.
Remember that God is never in a hurry, but he is always on time. He will use your entire lifetime to prepare you for your role in eternity.
The Bible is filled with examples of how God uses a long process to develop character, especially in leaders. He took 80 years to prepare Moses, including 40 in the wilderness. For 14,600 days Moses kept waiting and wondering, “Is it time yet?” But God kept saying, “Not yet.”
Contrary to popular book titles, there are no “Easy Steps to Maturity” or “Secrets of Instant Sainthood.” When God wants to make a giant oak, he takes a hundred years, but when he wants to make a mushroom, he does it overnight.
Great souls are grown through struggles and storms and seasons of suffering. Be patient with the process. James advised, “Don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed” (James 1:4 MSG).
Don’t get discouraged. When Habakkuk became depressed because he didn’t think God was acting quickly enough, God had this to say: “These things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!” (Habakkuk 2:3 TLB)
Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go. You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be. Years ago people wore a popular button with the letters PBPGINFWMY. It stood for “Please Be Patient. God Is Not Finished With Me Yet.” God isn’t finished with you, either, so keep on moving forward. Even the snail reached the ark by persevering!
Thoughts:  – What are some lessons you have learned when God has delayed something in your life?
– What do you think God wants you to do when you get discouraged with his timing?
– How can you show patience with others like God is patient with you? How can you encourage people today in their spiritual growth?

I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.

It has been a while since I have trimmed and cleaned out her gutters too.  Oh, the reason I am here now is because Jeanne and her sisters pl...
