Friday morning, thinking I still am having trouble over heating.

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger ext cab, 6 cyl, 3 liters/ Flex Fuel. Okay since I have had this truck, June 2014. It over heats while driving in slow traffic. Okay at first, I saw junk in the radiator. Now it looked like pieces of small paper. I had it flushed at a shop. The guy told me that he flushed ad least three (3) times and there is still some junk in there. Okay I will give it a try. It still over heated. I took it to a friend (Mike) he looked it over and told me it can be four (4) problem, no maybe five (5).
Fan blade not staying on, thermostat, radiator, water pump or a head gasket.
So he took a 2x4 (lumber) tried to stop the fan blade. It kept on turning. Then I left there and visited my cousin in Winter Haven. I saw a radiator shop there, in Lakeland. I stopped and told him my problem. He flushed it out with high pressure. 125 psi, air and water. Still junk coming out, but he said that is the best he could do. Plus he took the thermostat out and replaced it.
I got back home and bought a new radiator, ($125.00) I switched it out at a friends' home (Bill)
Still over heating. Come on what is going on?

On Thursday morning I flushed it again. Look at the paper coming out of it. Where is it coming from? How can this still be in here. I have flushed it out ad least 8 times plus.
Okay I will buy a water pump.

I bought it and started taking it apart. Roy was right long side of me. I tried for over two hours to get the old one off. I ran into a housing of the air conditioner that has to come off before the water pump will come. There is a bolt holding the pump in place behind the bracket.
Roy knew I was not making any head way. I kept looking and even watching a video a guy made on how to take it off and replace it. So Roy was telling me about a guy named Mark. He has a auto shop right down the road. So I hopped in his car and we went over to see Mark. He just told me to get it there on Tuesday and he would look at it. So I got back and put it all back together again. It went back together again a lot faster than me taking it apart.
So today (Saturday) I will take all the hoses off and the thermostat. Just look it over again. This paper has to stop some time. \
I am not sure why, but maybe the guy that had the truck before me had trouble with leaking of something like that. He stuffed paper in the system.
My prayer it is NOT a head gasket. This is a 6 cyl.
I don't have any power lost, the engine runs great. Even driving it on 95, no problems at all. The temp stays below the middle of the gauge. Just getting off of 95 and traffic stops, the engine it temp is climbing up. It has gone all the way up to H. But I really am trying to fix the problem.

I went over to one of my neighbors.

This sign was on the front of their SUV. I saw it and said that really is hitting home.
Folks this is so true, PLEASE don't wait on this ride.
This coming Saturday night or Sunday. Please visit a church. I know for myself, I did the church thing many years, before I realize what being a Christian is. It is not the building, it is the relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sunday at Calvary PSL.

We were visited by a old friend of mine. Pastor John. Him and his wife Connie came up to teach at Calvary Port Saint Lucie. Pastor John was my first pastor that I worked along side of at Calvary Ft Laud. I say worked with. When I first became a Christian, Pastor John was the over seer of all the classes that were going on at night time. Adults Education. It was Monday, Thursday and Friday night classes. I was at each one during those nights. Well I would get there early and help set up tables and chairs for the classes going on.
As I did that, Pastor John and I had some real good talks together. I remember one on tithing.
I told him, as I keep helping out at the church, I don't have to tithe? Well he set me straight on that one. Tom, your helping out is great and God loves that. We call that offering talents. But tithing, is something different. You need to tithe too. So I remember asking him, should I try to pay back the year or so I have not tithed? He told me just start the next week and that will be good. Which after that it has been a joy to tithe and see God's hand work in my life.

Around 6 or so each night I love to go down to the pool that is here. This is how it looks most times I come on down here. Empty. Which is nice.

I just love looking up and seeing clouds and how beautiful they look.

Tonight I was not alone. I looked down and saw this little guy or gal?
I am very blessed to call this place my home.

It is bicycle riding time. I think this is Sept 23rd.

I drove over to Hutchinson Island. Brought the bike with me. Parked at the Jetty. Rode from there. Went to the beach at the Jetty. You can see this place is nothing happening. It is early in the morning.

That was neat to see the Coast Guard ship going out of port.

There seems to always be fishermen or women here. It really gives me that felling of good old boys having some fun.

As I looked to the south, There were Sea Cows. Manatees. They sure are some what friendly. I am not sure how many there were. But still neat to see.

I rode down the power plant. It was about 10 miles.

Just walked down to one of the beaches and laid on the sand. I even went in the water. It was refreshing. Then rode on back to the Jetty an home again. It is so relaxing to just take a ride and enjoy all that God has given us to see.

Getting back to Florida.

Seeing my old girl, it sure felt good to be back home again. She started up and I was tickled pink.
I came home from the Bahamas a while back and the battery was dead. It really was good to be back.

Okay, NOW WHAT SIDE SHOULD I BE ON???? Just joking, as I did drive over in the Bahamas. They drive on the left hand side. (British)

Looking north, wow I guess I will be driving in that in a little while? Not, 95 turns towards the east and we missed most of it.

You can see, it really is only 100 miles from Sample Road to my house. Plus see the temp. I will have to flush the radiator again.
I got into the house and said wow it is hot in here?
I look at the thermostat inside. 93. Now I know I set the temp for 85. Switching the temp down to 80. The motor kicked in, BUT no air flowing up out of the register. That is NOT GOOD AT ALL.
I went out side and took down the shutter. Thinking ad least I can open the windows. Which I did.

I took this picture the following day. The reason was it started raining right after I got the last one off.

Not sure if you can see this or not? The floor is bubbling up. That sure is not good at all. Wow I have some things to check out the next day.

It sure rain all night long. Plus it cooled things down, so I slept pretty good too.
Got up the next morning Tuesday. I went out and took the covers off of the air conditioner. I just looked it over and saying a prayer, Lord please let it be something simple. I moved the wire around and went back in the it kicked on and both motors started working again. Praise Him.

You can see the wires have some rust on them. I put the covers back on. It is still working to this day. 27th.

You can see the floor came back down. Praise the LORD. Never turn your air off or even down while gone for any amount of time. I was told that when I got back???

Do as I say, then I DON"T

While I was in the Bahamas, I stopped by the guy selling Star Fish and Conch shells. As I was talking with him. I saw he took my shell out of the pail. Thinking this one is clean and ready?
I got back to Tim's home and packed them in my suit case. Now while I was there I never needed to get anything from it. The reason was the bag I leave with him, pretty much has everything I need. I am not sure why I brought all this stuff. BUT now I took a inventory of everything that is in that bag that I left there. My next trip I will not need to bring much at all.
Okay now back to the shell and star fish.
As when I lived there, children that stayed at the ALC Camp would see these shells everywhere near the canals. I would tell them not to pick them up. The reason is there are still piece of conch inside the shell. It will stink after a day or so.
Okay now I just told you not to put the shell or star fish in the bag. Thinking the man at the market cleaned it up and will not smell???What did I do?

This is a pile that is on the road to Kevin's mom home.

As I was pulling my clean clothes out of my bag, what is that smell????
I needed to wash everything I didn't wear.
So do as I say????

My time there is winding down.

This was Thursday afternoon. Billy and I went over to this young lady's home. She wants to bless Billy's yard sale. So she asked if we could come over and pick these two items up? Which we did and you can see they are really in some bad shape. But Billy was telling me that he would get $25.00 bucks for each piece. I myself thinking don't think so. But He has been selling things like this for many years here. The real neat thing is what ever he gets it goes back into the church fund.

This is part of our Calvary Bible Singles group. After church on Sunday we got together at Star Bucks and just hung out and got some what up dated on all that has been happening in my life since our last outing. Michelle and her daughter Emily, Terry, Kevin and Veda. It really was nice to hang out and just find out different things about their lives and looking at the future of single's at Calvary Bible this next year.

You know who this is? Kevin. I was very blessed to spend a couple of Sundays with him and just hang out. He was telling me about different jobs he has lined up for the next month or so. Prayerfully some thing will happen. He is willing to work, but not sure where. If you think of he say a prayer or two. He sure has a great smile, but inside I think he is dealing with other stuff.

I am getting caught up. These pictures are if Monday the 19th

I took this picture the last time I was heading south on East Street. You might not be able to read the red and white sign there?  But is said's
Older men STOP having sex with young girls.
It really is sad that they have to make a sign like that.
I know there are problems through out the world and even here in the states.

This is the up stairs in the some what new airport of Nassau. The reason I say some what new. This was opened in 2012? Or somewhere around then?
Very nice and has plenty of places to buys stuff. Plus food.
This early in the morning COFFEE is my fix.

As I am walking towards my gate. I had to stop by and get a med ice coffee. It sure did taste pretty good. Now this picture is from another Dunkin Donuts on East Street. But the prices were about the same here and the airport.

Now the reason I took a picture of this sign was. Pretty much every where I went this card was NOT welcome.

This is a sign at the Super Valve in Cable Beach. Which you can see they don't take this card. I didn't bring my visa card, Thinking everyone takes American Express? NOT. But as my time there was very enjoyable and relaxing. My next time over I will use my Visa.
Now I am only five days behind. Time is still flying by.

Last Saturday, Tim and I had a chance to go to one of the two malls there.

Just walking around, I was thinking a coffee would be nice? Well this store, while I lived here was a children clothing store. Now it is a want a be Star Bucks. There use to be a Star Bucks right across from this store, back then. But I took a look at the prices and said, WHAT? Med (tall) coffee was $4.58 I think? No way.

This is the Food Court area. I see a Carl's Jr is coming in there.

You can see that they are showing pretty much the same movies we have back home here. Plus the cost is around $10.00 per person.

This store is from New York City. The man that owns them lives there on Lyford Cay, he lives right on the tip of it. I think it is called Scooby Island or Treasure Island.  Very well off.

This large store here is BTC. It is the phone company of the Bahamas.

It really was nice to walk around and just look at things and say, I am very blessed to to live in the states. Price wise, plus.

This is a store in Nassau. I believe the folks from the straw market might buy their stuff.

I took this picture and got a mad face looking at me in the store. Like why are you taking pictures? I bought three items. 6 T shirts for $15.00 12 key chains for $6.00 and 1 picture frame for $10.00. Now there is a VAT tax on top of that too.

Here are the key chains. I didn't take picture of the shirts, but the ones I put on my seats in the truck.

Now remember I only paid $15.00 for 6 T skirts.

These shirts are sold at the airport. Now I know at the Straw Market they sell 3 for $13.00? some close to that. They are not trying to break the bank of tourism. But look at this one shirt $25.00 each. WOW.

Remember I got 12 for $6.00 + vat tax = $6.45 for 12.
Hey how many people come there and say, wow we didn't get something for our friends or family. Let's see what they have at the airport?
Take a look at Fort Lauderdale airport? It pretty much the same.

I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.

It has been a while since I have trimmed and cleaned out her gutters too.  Oh, the reason I am here now is because Jeanne and her sisters pl...
