Roy and I put this up about three months ago. Wayne was asking if we can beef up the railing handle?
He was thinking maybe using lumber like a 2x4 on top and 4x4 to hold it up? Wayne has anther door way that is how that is made. But I know they are not ones to have much funds. So Roy and I went to Home Depot and walked around. I thought why not try yo beef it up with PVC?
So her is 1" 1/2" and next to it is 2" So we cut the pipe to correct size and took the galvanize pipe apart on the bottom. Then put the 1"1/2" on that pipe with Liquid Nails. Then put the 2" over that.
Now they are both glued together. Then I put bolts into the PVC and galvanize pipe.
Hey Wayne and his wife are happy. It works great for now. It only cost a few bucks.
I now when am I going to do some real work???
It is going to be interesting? Hey work is work and I can make a buck or two. That is okay for us.
