This happen on Dec 11th Saturday morning starting out.

These picture are of the land that Chris is having auctioned off this day 11th. Just walking around and checking things out. 

Okay the auction doesn't happen until 11am. So we all pilled in and drove over to Mickey's Restaurant.

We are sitting outside of Mickey's waiting on a table. 

This is Chris and his cousin Carol Jean. She came down for Georgia to see the auction The property that is being auction off was part of her life growing up.  

As we showed around 10:50 am. There were many people walking around and checking this place out. 

It started up pretty fast on the bids. Then slowed down a little and then started up again. 

At the end there was three main people biding. At the end, a younger woman bought if for $385.000.00 

During the auction more of Chris's side showed up, to see what happens. So afterwards we all got together and talked about going out to lunch. At Archie's. 

We got here and sat right down and saw all the different kind of food to eat. 

This was in the menu, the story about Archie's and who and what happen over the years. 

I am sorry but I forgot some of the folks names, that were there. . But we all had a great meal. Then talked about going down to the Jetty and walk around a little.

Here is the crew. 

Carol Jean stayed over night at the house that was auctioned off. We invited her over for some breakfast the next morning. 

My baby made a feast for us. We ate and talked a little ore about the auction and Carol Jean needed to start heading hoe again. 

So as this day came and went, Chris is really down in the dump. The reason was he really didn't want to get rite of the property. But it was out of his hands now. It has been sold and time will heal. The reason he is so down is, he really wanted the bids to stay low and he would not let the sale go thru. But then he would buy it up from his family and all would be well. It would stay in the family and Chris would take care of it and hold on to it. With out all the family getting in voided. 

The only reason Chris wanted to have a auction was, to see how much the land is wroth and buy up his family's shares and keep it. 

But at the end the $385,000.00 was more than he wanted to send. 

So now we will see what happens. 

Wel as I woke up this morning and found out it is CHRISTMAS. It sure a beautiful day and looking forward in seeing Jeanne's family coming over and spending some time with us.

On December 6th our guys came in to replace our duck work.

Okay about three months ago, we got a new air condecinor

It is very tight up there. 

Okay why are we putting in new duck work? Well about two or three months ago, we had a new air conditioner put in. BUT our electric bill didn't change at all. 

We did get a estimate for the duck work, before we even bought the air unit. 

But I was thinking maybe let us just see what happens after the unit is put in? So the folks that put in the air unit came back out and tore out the old duck work and put in all NEW. 

WOW petty tight?? But they told us it is all done and we should feel and see a big difference in our electric bill. It took them three days to get the old out and the new in. 

Well folks as I am writing this, thinking wow, today is DECEMBER 24TH. 

CHRISTMAS EVE. 

It really is crazy how time is flying by. 

My prayer for all of us is,

That we really do understand what Christmas is really is and want to have a closer relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ. 

PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO THANK HIM. 

 

This is where I spent my 70th birthday, evening.

My baby picked this place for our party time. 

This on the left, is Pastor John his wife Tammy (going around back) Jan ( Jake's friend) Jake (Jeanne's son) Jeanne, me and Towanda. (Julian's wife). 

This is Julian. He is the picture taker. 

Hey everyone out there. If you want to take your wife or hubby out to a REAL nice restaurant. This be the place. I didn't look at the menu Jeanne told me not to. She thinks I would have freaked out. I know she gave the waiter 50.00 tip?? 

Over all all we ate was Fired Calamari (5), Shrimp cocktail. (4) Seafood Dip (5) Pork Belly (4) 

Plus some of them had some mix drinks. Over all we all had plenty of food and walked away with real full. 

Then afterwards we walked around the Food Trucks in a park next to this restraint.

This was y birthday cake. It sure was good tasting and very much loved by my friends. 

This is the park right net to the rest aunt. Julian and his wife and Jeanne and I plus Chris. 

Folks we really had a wonderful time and I a so blessed to have friends and family to enjoy our time together. 

The crazy part is I AM NOW 70 years old. 

But ike I keep saying Praise Our Lord for all He has given and His grace. 

 

 

Yes it is Christmas TIME.

I am not sure when I put this all together? I looked it up Dec. 2nd. But I know my little girl loves it. 

She helped me put up Mr. Snowman. 

I am very proud to call this place our home. 

It really only took me about three hours to get it done. But at the end I love it and my wife does too. 

I have been looking back this last year and just want to say 

THANK LORD FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE. 

2021 is almost over!!! 

Just a small note, do you know I am turning the BIG 70. No joke, yes 70. Now that is crazy.
