I had a chance to send some stuff over to The Bahamas. Okay let me back up. Ian and Nancy are part of Captain Bruce's crew. They are from the north country, Carolinas areas. I will let their brochure speak for them.
Captain Bruce and his wife Shirley have been sailing for many years. I think around 2006 they came to the Bahamas. As part of the Adventure Learning Centre. I had a chance to go out on their sail boat. Spent the day out in front Rose Island (Bahamas) We swam, used their kayaks and all they had to offer us. It was a great day to just send on the beautiful water.
I know at the end of the day I was tried. They really enjoy taking folks out on The Bahama Star.
A couple of years plus ago, Tim Ryan (he is in heaven) and Billy Slater ask if I could do some shopping and bring to Captain Bruce's ship afterwards? So I think I did that a couple of times for my friends over in The Bahamas.
Not sure when, but I know Captain Bruce bought another ship. I am sorry but I forgot the name.
So I really don't know the whole story on how Ian and Nancy and Captain Bruce got together to do all these ministries.
All I know these guys have helped out Billy and Tim and their families, for many years, bring things over for their ministry and families.
So I am very blessed to be part of doing something for my friends.
So I brought over a nice size load of cleaning supplies and other items, Billy asked for.
Prayerfully, their travels are safe and everything goes great.
I am still asking for prayers for Tim's family and friends. He was a good man and he did a lot for others. He will be greatly missed.
My little girl (Jeanne) is doing good and she will be back to work (teacher) in a couple of weeks.
Praise Our Lord for all HIs, MERCY AND GRACE EACH DAY.
