The guys cae out and pumped it down. It cost us $350.00. While here they tried to take out the screen (filter) It was put in on a angle and it can not be pulled out, to clean. So now what?
The guys told us that they can come back and repair it.
At a cost of $750.00. Well we need it up and working correctly. So send them out the net day.
So mean while you can see they pumped it out and the toilets flush with no problems.
This is the other tank on the east side, it is where the liquid flows to and goes into the lift station from here.
You see the concert lid there? Well that had to be busted up to open it up. To get to the filter (screen). Like is said they could not pull the screen out. So these two guys showed up the next day, to repair it.
This will be the new filter screen.
They did one lid at a time. The over flow tank first, where the screen is. Then cut the pipe to put on the other tank that needed a lid. .
That is the old filter screen on the right hand side. You can see he is using cement to fasten the pipe an then use screw to put the lid on.
Now you see three tanks. The one on the left is the holding tank (solids). The one on the right is the over flow tank and the one in back of it is the lift station. We wanted it all to be fixed and be done with it. So they put on two new lids and cemented them in. Then all is repaired.
This cost $400.00 to repair the screen filter pipe. Plus $300.00 to put a new lid on. Plus another $100.00 to put a new lid on the lift station too.
Okay we had the old lids, (concert ) left over. So I asked them to take them away. I gave them $20.00 tip too.
It all looks great, except. I know Jeanne will not like the lid being up higher than the ground. So I know what I need to do the next day.
So I took a walk out to the road to drop off some limbs. Noticed the larger lid was there. The guy said something to me while driving off about the lid. He mush have dropped the larger lid in the pile. There is no way the guy that picks up limbs and trees and what ever is a tree or branches or even logs. They picked them up with a truck that has a bucket on the truck and drops all of it into the truck.
BUT I KNOW THEY WILL NOT PICK UP CONCERT!!!
Okay I busted it up, used a slug hammer and loaded it in our wheel barrow.
Now it is sitting in a driveway on the side of the house waiting for me to load it up in my truck and take it away. When we get back from our little time away.
This is how it looks now over our septic tanks and lift station.
This what I trim off of the pipe that they put in, that was to high for my baby to say it looks great in back. Now it does.
Well folks, this last week I worked three full day March 10th, 11th (one hour) 12th and 13th.
They have two times. Active time 25 hours/47 minutes Then Dash Time- 35 hours/ 17 minutes. Had 78 deliveries. Made $483.38. clear.
Hey I am very happy to be able to make some money and enjoy it too. It does get a little rough, when I get the $2.00 orders. With no tips. But in the end it all adds up.
Over all I still want to do handy man work, but in between jobs I have this to fall back on.
So I pray, you had a wonder week-end and looking forward in this next week of ours.
Doing a little traveling. I will try to keep you in the loop.
I do ask for prayers for my two friends, Jan and Jon Bunch. They have been going thru a lot of medical issues.
Last I heard Jan was in the hospital (recovering) and Jon has been getting treatments for his (skin) cancer. Doing better.
So please keep them in prayer and I ask for prayers for our traveling time and just to relax.
