I am not sure but I think it was a 6 days before, when Greg, my cousin, got a phone call from Debbie an Jon, my other family members. The call changed a lot of peoples lives. The call was telling us that Debbie and Jon's daughter (Amy) were on vacation up in northern Florida. That morning, Amy and her family were enjoying a nice swim in the river, up there. After a little while Amy called out to one of her sons, Help me? I can not breath. We were told at that time, Amy had passed away. There was a doctor and nurse on the shore of the river there, they tried to bring her back and it was to late. So at this time, we knew that we needed to come together as a family for support and prayer. Mean while we still had to go to Sarasota, Florida. Jeanne had to go to classes to help her students learn more about working in the kitchen and understanding more about safely. So the blogs above are of the trip there and to this day was Saturday, June 25th 2022. We have been talking with Debbie and Jon and other members of my family, about how they want to do a memorial for Amy and family. So they worked out doing it at a park that Amy and family have been playing there since they were little.
We got there and saw many folks gathering under the pavilion. So we parked our car and walked over and greeted our family and friends.
This was a table they set up of pictures and different things of Amy life. I knew of Amy many years ago, but really only saw here a few times, when I would visit Debbie and Jon, she would come over. I am very sorry I really didn't get a chance to really know her. Plus is was a very sad day for everyone here,
Okay we were asked to share stories or things that Amy was part of. Everyone that spoke, they would tell a story about how, she always had a smile on her face. Joking around, pretty much a joyful life she had. Amy was a teacher at one of the school here in Largo.
There were students telling stories about how, Amy would be so patient with them. She would help them out with school work and personal things too. She always had some what a joke or gag she would pull on them.
I am not sure how many folks spoke? But I know each and everyone of them were hurting inside.
This is her family, Greg (hubby) two sons. Greg sister, Joey (son) Debbie (mom) and Jon (step dad)
Afterwards they had some food for everyone. during this time, people just came up and hugged and cried together and just was hurting.
As folks started leaving, it was very much realizing that each and everyone here, Christians, would see Amy again.
I am very sadden, that the pastor didn't share the Gospel. This is the best place, memorials, funerals to share the gospel. People are hurting and wondering what is after this? Sharing this is comfort and reassurance that after this life, we have Heaven or Hell? I a sorry for being so bold, but the true is, maybe today might be your last one. So as I have spoken before, Jesus Christ is our answer.
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son , so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. (17) God did not send His son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.
So if you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savor, you will be BORN AGAIN.
Then if you read John 14:6
Jesus told him "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Folks I know this is very answers each and everyone out there need to know.
I know myself, I will see my Lord Jesus Christ again. Face to face.
This is not about religion, BUT RELATIONSHIP with Out Lord Jesus Christ.
Plus you have to make that commitment, no one else.
Please call on Our Lord Jesus today. He is right along side of you. Always there for you too.
