This is the FFA area Barns. Last day (Friday) of Teachers Appreciation Week.

This FFA area is behind the school. This is where the students raise their cows, bulls or pigs back here.
This is where Alfie lived. If you read the blog just before this one you will understand better of what I am talking about.

This is the grill/smoker, that Art's used to do the cooking. Nice set up. I know now what would make my honey happy, building her a traveling grills/smoker.

As my wife is a teacher here, she asked me to join her for lunch. Which I did. We had Rib, Pull Pork and sausages. Plus Mac @Cheese, coleslaw and beans. It was a great meal. The meat was tinder and very tasty. Overall, it was a nice treat.
Now, today is Monday April 29th. My is going to be, going to the bank about a loan. Plus, I already saw the planning department of St. Lucie. Need to find someone to pour a slab.
What am I talking about? Jeanne and I have decided to buy a shed for the back yard and need to get things in order. So, this week is trying to get things in order. I will explain more after I get things going.
I need some prayers, for all I need to get done. So, I would appreciate them very much.
Thank you for taking the time to check my blog out. I would love to hear from you about what you think of it. My e amil address is: tombahamas7@gmail.com
My prayers for you all, that you know Jesus Christ as your SAVOR.
John 14:6 I am (Jesus) the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE can come to the Father except through me (Jesus Christ)

This is Teacher Appreciation Week.

The first day (Monday) Just had coffee served. This set up is for breakfast (Tuesday)  FFA were the servers and the one provide the food.

This is the next morning set up. The gentleman in the light blue shirt is our NEW principal, Mr. Alfonzo of Westwood. Since he has been the principal here, things have been set to a higher standard. He has brought the school to better level of rules and respect. He has improved the attitude of the teachers and students. Overall, I really nice guy too.
Thye served, Eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy. Plus, bacon and sausage.

We set up for the next two days, lunch. Which was the same set up.
I was not part of the next couple of days. But had to make sure everything was set the same each day.
But on Friday, teachers and wifey and I had a wonderful lunch out at the FFA barns, behind the school.
What does FFA stand for? Future Farmers of the America.
They raise cows, bulls and pigs for the county fair. 4 H group. During the Fall and Spring.  So, this year they raised a pig, called Alfie. Just for this occasion. That's right LUNCH That correct, we all had Alfie for lunch, Ribs, Pull Pork and Sauage.
I have a funny and sad story about the two pigs we raised in The Bahamas (ALC) I use to feed them twice a week. That was my scheduled times. Saturday and Sunday. Well, one year we had a barbecue there. The students that were staying at the ALC. The group was called Patmos. They cooked one of the pigs. Their names were Bacon and Ham. Well, I was not going to eat him at all. That was a mean thing to do. But since I have come back to the states. We, all eat bacon and ham mostly every day, for breakfast.

The next couple of days are going to be BUSY.

This is the trailer I did some work on a while back. So, I texted Pastor Craig, if I might be able to use it the next couple of days? NO PROBLEM, help yourself.
Got it back home and now need to loaded it up.

Okay On Friday morning, we are serving lunch to all of Jeanne's students. Every year, Jeanne makes her Senor's a beautiful lunch.
Okay, you ask, what does this have to do with the truck being loaded up with grill and tables and branches of oak tree, plus?
Well, after the luncheon we are going to sell hotdogs and hamburgers plus other things.

So, on Thursday my little girl needs to get the BEEF WELLINGTON.
She is taking the beef and rounded on the mushrooms, onions, (called Prosciutto) Then she rounds the puff pastry on top.

Okay, it is Friday morning. Jeanne is putting the final touches. She loves going beyond.

Meanwhile the students ned to get everything out and in place so this can all happen.

The BEEF WELLINGTOM is done and ready to be cut and served.

The students were called in and load up your plates. Lunch is ready.

Really looking good.

As the students were eating and having a good time. Jeanne and I just started cleaning things up.

Need to group shot. I am not sure if all of her students were there, but the ones that were loved the luncheon. Okay, now it is time to get ready for the afternoon Carnival for all students out in the courtyard. I will share tomorrow or the next day.
It really was a lot of work to make things happen. But Jeanne seems to always have it together and uses her students to make everything happen.
We, Jeanne and I are very blessed to be able to make things like this happen.
Just look at the big smiles and how they thanked Chef Gray. That to me is a blessing all the way.

I had a chance to go see my niece and her family.

I drove up to Cocoa Beach area. Sorry to say, but Jeanne had to work this day. So, driving up 95 all went well. I got to the restaurant and looked around a little, noticed I had about hour to kill. So, I headed up US 1 a little way. I saw tables set up and it looked like a flea market. So, I pulled in and walked around. I did get one thing. It is a outside outlet pole that I can use for our Christmas lights. It's waterproof and very easy hook up.

The time was going by pretty fast. I need to get to the restaurant. Indian River Bar and Grill. It is located at 5370 US 1, Cocoa Florida 32927. Kathy and I talked about meeting at 11am. I got here and still have a little time.
So. I drove around the back of the restaurant. Then took a walk down to the shoreline.

What a beautiful day it was. Kind of winding, but it was warm.

My niece and family got here. We tried to sit out on the deck, too windy. Sat at a table closer to the building. Still pretty windy. Waiting for a table.
I needed to go to the restroom.

Now I have seen two toilets in the same room. BUT there is usually a wall between them. How, would anyone say come on in and have a sit.
Maybe this is that thing called Cross-Genger, bathroom? Trying to make a funny.

This is Gary, Kathy (her hubby) Charlotte and her friend (sorry I forgot her name) Let me call her Mary.  We sat here, and it was just right. Wind was calmer and the umbrella did the sun block. As we sat here, we enjoyed getting to know what has been happening in their lives and mine. Charlotte is Kathy youngest daughter. Both these young ladies are in the Army. They were sharing some great stories and things they have had to go thru. It took us a while to get our order in. The reason was, we just kept talking and not looking at the menu. Got our orders in.

Kathy and I got the Fish and Chips. Mine is Grouper and Kathy had the Mahi. Charlotte had Shrimp and Mac & Cheese, Mary had Seaford Scampi on linguine. Gary got Panini Sandwich. It seemed like everyone was enjoying their food. My fish was tasty, but some spots were under cooked. Overall great time of sharing and just getting to hear what has been happening.

Kathy has always been my favorite. She has always been there for my parents.
I believe they felt the same, their favorite too.
Gary and Kathy live up in South Caroline. Charlotte and Mary live in Fayetteville, N.C. (Fort Bragg).
Well, our time was winding down. They needed to go to Ron Jon's Surf Shop and get some souvenirs.
We hugged and said our goodbyes,
I stayed a little while longer, just to see all these piles of Oysters.

My little girl loves Oysters and saving the shells.  The reason is she has seen oysters used to make decorations. So, I picked up about 30 shells and put them in the back of the car.

Here is a example of the Oyster Art.

Got in and started to drive north to go up to Buc-ee's. Got on GPS and found out, it is still another hour north to get there. Time really was not on my side. It took me about 1hour and 30 minutes to get here, now I need to get home. Jeanne gets out of work around 3pm.
I am so happy that Kathy texted me, to let me know they would be up this way. I have not seen Kathy and Gary for over couple of years. Charlotte, it has been over 15 years or maybe more.
Folks I have written a few times about FAMILY. Older I get it seems time is not on our side. It keeps rolling on though.
So, if you have not talked or visited your family for a while.
PLEASE AD LEAST CALL THEM.
If you have any comments, e mail me at tombamamas7@gmail.com

I had a opportunity to help out my cousin.
