Labor I don't wish onto anyone. WEEDING. No fun, but much joy afterwards.

This is the rose garden that Jeanne's mom had while she was still alive. Folks after we moved into her home. I tried to keep the weeds pulled and have lost the battle, but not the war itself.
Okay we put CPRESS MULCH in all of the garden areas. The weeds kept coming back. So I think two years ago or maybe more. I went out and bought 3/4" to 2" rocks. Bought it buy the truck load. I don't remember how much it cost. But I do remember how much work there was. I dug up the beds and put down the weed bearer black screening. Then brought in the rocks and filled up every flower bed and gardens around the fruit tree too. Weeds keep coming back. Folks I thought this would solve my trouble. It didn't help. Okay now I am going to pull the weeds out and pick up all the rocks and clean the beds out again.

I started another project too. It is getting all the Christmas Decorations out the large shed. I brought them and put them in the living room and back tp cleaning out the flower beds.

Okay where do I put the rocks I pick up? Well, this it the area I was thinking building a place to put the boat. next to the house and put the up railing all the way around the area that the boat will sit onto. I just put up one board for now.

Okay all cleaned out and now what should I do? There is rose bushes still in here, so I don't hurt them. I just sprayed a little Round Up around the beds themselves. I drove over to Home Depot and bought 8 bags of BLACK MULCH. Thinking maybe it might make it look better?

I put the black mulch down and Jeanne told me that she loves it, and it will make the roses pop with the black mulch.

This is the next flower bed I need to clean out. This is the next day Monday. Oh, this weekend we drove over to Orlando and had a great dinner, and this restaurant called Shogun.

We got to Orlando and parked the car and noticed we still had about hour or so before the restaurant opens up, 5:30pm, they open. So, we walked around the area and checking out different souvenir shops. This area is on International Drive, Orlando, Florida.

These are old license plates. Yes, they are expired. Think if I was a thief wow just but one of these plates and steal this or that, no way to trace the plate?
Maybe I should think like that? I just thought it was kind of weird, to see for sale.

Now we both saw this sign and thought, wow, now that's a great deal. I have eaten at Brazilian Steakhouse before. I think it cost much more than that, $19.99 ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. Yes, I remember now $40.00 single.
Maybe next time in town?
Okay it's time for dinner.

You sit at a table that the chef is there and cook you whatever you want. The guy was funny, and it was a lot of fun to watch him, perform.

It's only open 5:30pm to 10pm Thursday to Sunday. You need to make a reservation, before you get there. Kind of a busy place. The food was good and was sure did enjoy the show. The really nice thing about this trip was, we had a 50% off both of our meals. So, we saved for bucks. We were talking earlier that maybe we need to find a hotel and get some rest before driving back home. Went online after eating and found a hotel right down the road from the restaurant. Motel 6. yes, the price was not bad, and reviews were pretty good too. Total cost $106.00. Got into the room and the air was turned off, but the room was 57 degrees. So, I turned on the heater. Then looked in the shower and it doesn't look like anyone cleaned this bathroom since the last customer. So, no showers tonight. I hated not taking a SHOWER BEFORE BEDTIME. We got to sleep, but I kept rolling around and not a great sleep time.
Got up and went down to the lobby and got our receipt and I didn't say anything about the room. I just wanted to get out of there and get home.
Okay now it's Sunday Nov. 24th. Went Calvary Vero, then saw Jake and then drove over to The Pig and Fish Restaurant on Hutchinson Island.  Meet the grandkids and Krista. Had a wonderful lunch and drove home and relaxed the rest of the day.

Kashlyn, Kaden and Krista and my little girl.

Okay Monday is here and her I go again, cleaning and weeding out the flower beds.

I got some of these pictures mixed up. I didn't put the black mulch down until Monday morning Nov. 25th. Ph, well but now you can see how nice the black mulch looks and prayerfully I can stay on top of the weeds.
So, today is BLACK FRIDAY. Why am I still home doing my blog? Well, we talked about getting up early and going Black Friday shopping. I thought why not let my little girl
sleep in the get caught up on this.
So, today I read Genesis 11 and 12. The Tower Of Babel. Folks I just know what I read and it's kind of confusing. The people were building this tower to hit the heavens, 11:7 Come, let's go down and give them different languages. then they won't be able to understand each other. (8) In that way the Lord scattered them all over the earth.: and that ended the building of the city. (9) That is why the city was called Babel, because it was there that the Lord confused the people by giving them many languages, thus scattering them across the earth.
Chapter 12 Is about Abram, later called Abraham. Father of many nations.
Folks all I know is at the end of the Bible Jesus Christ is LORD.
Thank you for taking the time to read and look at all the pictures. I hope you enjoy my blog.
