My baby saw something on Facebook, Cranberry Ring. Well, the first thing this is made out of, can cranberry. Not sure if anyone ever noticed the top of the cranberry cans?
You can see the top lid has a lip on it.

Now by looking at vegetable cans they pretty much all have the flat top and the bottom is curved.
WHY IS THE CURVE ON THE TOP OF CRANBERRY CANS ONLY????
Okay back to the Cranberry Ring. My baby made two of them. One for a neighbor (Pat and Momma) across the street over the railroad tracks. The other one is for our folks that invited us to their home for Thanksgiving Dinner. That is Beau and Katie Slay's home. Pretty much the whole family was invited and most of them came.
Had a beautiful spread. Everything you could think of, Turkey, Ham and even Pulled Pork. Plus, all the fixings. It really was a nice time. Just sitting around afterwards and getting caught up with Jody (Beau's brother) They use to live in West Palm Beach. But now are living in the Orlando area. Plus, one of Jeanne's sisters came. Kathy and T.J. They used to live in Brownsville Texas. They have moved to Stuart, Florida. really only happened about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.
Folks were so nice and just hanging out and enjoying their company.
We pretty much stayed the whole time there. Got out of there about 8pm or so. Sad part was Jeanne wanted to give a couple of items to Jody's son, Jospeh. So, we drove back home and brought it back to Beau's house and gave him the items.
I will back up a little. Jody and Lisa moved to Orlando area to be closer to Joseph. Plus, Benjamin (younger son) got a opportunity to go to a school that has their main focus is teaching soccer and BenjamÃn is a great player and wants to become pro down the road. His dad Jody has been coaching soccer for many years in West Palm Beach school system.
So, it was a win for the whole family.
Today really is Dec. 9th, I started this blog on Dec 7th. It just has been a bust couple of days.
Folks reading in my Bible today. Genesis chapters 29 and 30.
This is when Jacob arrives at Paddan-Aram, Ladan's family. Which is Abraham's brother. Here Jacob meets his wife Rachel and gets married a few times. That correct, Jacob marries Leah, which was a a trick form Ladan. Leah was the first daughter, so she needs to get married first. Then Jacob marries Rachel. Down the road he marries Bilhah (Rachel's servant). Plus, during all this time Jacob is having children and many of them too. Okay now he has 4 sons. Rachel still hasn't giving him a child yet. Bilhah has 2 more sons. Leah has stopped having children now. She gives Jacob one of her servants in marriage, Zilpah. She gives him two sons. Leah gets pregnant two more times. Now have given him 6 sons. Now she gives him a daughter. Okay now Rachel has a son, this is Joseph. I think Jacob has 11 sons and one daughter. I know down the road Racheal has one more son. That's in Chapter 35.
So, folks what I got out of all this was, Our Lord blesses us and sometimes he does more that we could imagine,
