Just driving over to see Monty.

It is so neat to see how much work is getting done at Baha Mar. This is the old Cable Beach area. Their signs say they will be open by Dec 2014. There sure is still a lot of work to get done. But by driving by and taking pictures that way I can see the improvements, each time.
The reason I was driving over to see Monty, was to build a screen fence around his garbage area. We started out okay, but I was getting tried and even got a little up set. The sun was beating down on us, plus he thought we could do a couple other small jobs. Monty is not modeling, he just wanted to work on his tan. I am sorry Monty for that. But we did get one side some what fixed up. You can see the wire mesh is done on the left hand one. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can get back and finish this up. The reason I say in a coupe of weeks, the next two weeks are going to be getting ready for the 20th. So we will see what happens.

On Thursday I went for a bike ride

That right I am trying to get back into shape. So for the last couple of days I have been riding about 5 miles. The ride is pass Billy's home and back. On Thursday after a rough day at work, I desired to take a ride. I started out slow, but after a little while I got going pretty good. Then I heard this pop. I stopped and look at the rear wheel, didn't see anything. I got back on started riding again, then noticed the rear wheel was rubbing the frame. Now what? I stopped again, looked and saw the back axle was something wrong. I just asked my Lord Jesus to make is back home. I rode pretty slow now, not knowing if the wheel would come off. I got back and took is apart. Found the axle was broke in half. Stopped by the bike shop yesterday and it cost only $16.00 and now it is back on the road again. I will try again this next week and ride some more.

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR NATION

This was Thursday news paper. By looking at this,we as a nation are failing. If you look at who is getting shot, most of them are drug guys. But some are just people in the wrong spot and the time. Please keep our country in prayer. Remember this is not a large country. Just think of Miami about all the murders there. This world is falling apart and our Bibles tell is to happen. We just need to do our part. Let our families and friend know who Jesus is first of all then let the world hear about Him.

The guys are clearing out the back area.

While Harri and I worked on the barn gates, these guys (Eric and Sean) were in back moving the dirt pile from one area to another. The reason is Mark wants that whole area cleared out and looking clean for the 20th.
Okay Harri and I bent the wire mesh around the top of the gates and then stapled them into place. They really came out looking pretty good. The reason the bends look so good, Tim Ryan said try using the medal break. This is a tool we have had since I have been here. It is made to hold the wire mesh or any light medal and lock it down and then pull up on the bars and whela they are straight looking bends. It really does do a good job. The only thing is, it weights a couple of pounds and it has to sit on something that is solid to hold in place. But we hooked it up on the John Deere front blade. It worked okay. But down the road we will be bending a lot more medal and we will need to make a stand for it.
Over all Harri and I got the doors done and even caulked in the large Barn doors too. Everything is in place for Tuesday. that is the day Tim Ryan comes in and does his magic.
Today I will be going over to a friends home to help him out on a couple of items. I pray that you have a great week-end and talk with you tomorrow.

Even while there is no one around I still do work?

That right I am hoping to finish up the Barn cage doors today. I have the wire mesh all ready cut and waiting to put it on. Plus all the door ways are painted and looking pretty good. The hardware is painted and I am getting excited.

I think every man is a PYROMANIA.

A couple of days ago. I had the guys form Patmos clean up all the old lumber that has been sitting around here. I had them bring it down to the Camp. Then I got to play with fire. You know you start a fire and just watch it for a couple of hours. Then walk away and feel so good. Fire is neat stuff. I know when we have had men groups in at the Camp here. During a Men's retreat, we always have a camp fire. Then we stand around and watch it. Mean while someone will open up and start talking about something that is on his mind. You are just standing there and wow. Men love to watch fires. I have never heard any one say. No fire for me.

Now you can understand why Tim Ryan is the guy that builds tings for us

This is a cover for one of our cages. The one that holds our mice. It is so funny how you look at something and say, NO PROBLEM. Then after trying to cut the lumber the correct length. You measure twice and cut once. That is the right way to do any kind of wood work. Okay I measured twice and looked right. Then I start putting it together and it is to small. Okay lengthen it by getting another pieces of lumber. Try again. I did that three times. Then still to short. You can see I had to add a couple of nuts to lengthen it even more. I love to work with wood. I just don't have the time to do it. I look and do it and then get mad. Please Lord let me slow down and enjoy doing wood work. Not today.

Our last day to work together

Okay by looking at the pictures you have a idea of what has been going on? Since this crew has been here, we have gotten most of all the painting done, that we needed. I want to say thank you to Pastor Chet for leaning us his inters. These folks are part of a school that is going on as we speak. It is called Patmos. They really are suppose to be back there helping with that. But as our time is winding down towards the 20th. Pastor Chet sent them over for three days of straight work. Which they did very well. If you look back you can see all that has happen during Monday to Wednesday. I look at our list and we have gotten so much more done than I thought would happen. I just want to say thank you to all of you that took this time to help us out.
Okay the picture above was taken at the end of the day. So they were not playing all day. That was a last shot to paint each other.
Their names are Tanner,Kate,Branden,Chelsea and Liz. A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS AND GIRLS.
I will be taking them to the airport in about 30 minutes. I know we will see each other down the road. Maybe even see them be part of our staff one day. That sure would be nice too. They were good workers and always smiling. I was blessed to call them friends.

Good morning all, WOW it is EARLY!

Hey this morning we had a chance to get up earlier than normal.(I need to take more pictures of them, this was the only one I could find of them together) (They are the two on the left hand side of this picture)..The reason was, Mindy and Tim flew out this morning to get away for a couple of days. I know they have meeting with other staff at Calvary. But over all I really hope and pray they get some quit time too. I know by all that has been going on here, they have been very busy. You know, camp groups coming and going and even they have been bring their church over for a day or so. So over all this place has been jumping.
I had a chance to talk with them about all that has been going on at the Centre. Just looking at my blog, you to can see all the neat tings that have been happening. But over all I believe if I was still doing both jobs, Camp guy and maintenance guy. This list of things that have been getting done, would not be able. The main reason is because the Seeley's are here to over see the Camp. This way I can focus on the Centre, trying to get every thing ready for this 20th. Plus I know all the folks that have been here to help too, has been a big blessing too. So over all thank you for what you have been doing and let us look back in our older age and say THANK YOU JESUS. It really is His doing.

Mean while we had there things going on too.

On Monday the train needs another battery. Then on Tuesday, Eric and Branden worked on the climbing wall. There they needed to remove the one support that is in the back. The 6X6, it was fulling rotten. So those guys tried to pull it out. But it fell apart. So we drilled another hole and just moved it a little. Then Tim was here to get the Barn doors finished up. I have been very blessed to see all that has been going on with every thing. Today. we will see what happens today? Folks I really think this place is going to look great.

Okay another weeks starts.

On Sunday night my Patmos inters came in. These gals and guys are here to help get this place into shape. I was told that they are willing to work as long as I need them. So on Monday we started out with painting the Pavilion. That took most of the day. They did a wonderful job on it. You know painting all the gray poles and white trim. Right about the time they were winding down on it, guess what came along? That right, more rain. The really neat thing is they finished the whole thing just before the down pour. while they were painting , I had Branden cleaning up the walls in the Barn. So right after they finished that, they all went over to the Barn to pait there. Plus the guys, Branden and Tanner, they worked on taking the old wire off the fencing. Then we found out we need to replace a couple of boards too. It was raining but the guys kept on working. they told me the trees above were keeping them some what dry. We wound up around 6pm calling it a day. It was a great day.

This is Tuesday's task.

I really have been blessed with the students from Patmos. These guys and girls have really been working hard to try to get this place ready for our 20th. On Monday Tuesday my inter net has been down that is why you have not seen any thing for a couple of days.
You will see more pictures of all that has been happening.

Like I said Lazy week-end

Kevin spent a couple of nights with me. We had a time to laugh and just talk a little too. Then you can see how rough Scooby and Jingles days are?

The people you are looking at are Camp Bahamas Campers

This day was so nice, Kevin sent the night and we got up and ate some cereal. I went for a short bike ride. This time no dogs to deal with. Then Kevin, Scooby and I piled in the truck and drove to Goodmans Bay Beach. While there Scooby and went one way and Kevin went the other. I really didn't do that much swimming. You know when you have Scooby with you, he wants to hang on you. I did work on checking him out for fleas and ticks. I didn't see any more. That is a great thing. The reason is on Thursday morning I was doing my computer ting, I felt something biting me. yes it was fleas now.
Okay why the pictures of Richard and crew? Well while there I saw Richard walking down to the beach, getting ready to set up for the day. I asked him what was going on? He told me this is their last Summer Bash before school starts on Monday. I asked Kevin if he wanted to stay. you know what he said, YES. So I left to take his sister shopping.
Oh I was given a another job, putting out 8 signs.

I had four spots to stick these in the ground, most round abouts.
Yes we are having a FUN DAY FREE. The reason is during this time is for our Anniversary. So we are giving back to the people here. We usually charge $5.00 a person.
IT IS FREE FOR THIS DAY SEPTEMBER 21st 2013.
Please come on out and enjoy the day with us.

I had a customer call me and ask me if I could help her?

So, she was telling me that she doesn't have hot water. So, I told her I would stop by on Tuesday the 22nd. So, I drove out there and ch...
