I love during Christmas people displaying Christmas stuff

As I was with Rosie having breakfast on Wednesday morning. We went to the small little mom and pop dinner. There were signs hanging up on the walls. I saw this one and just thought of how cute it is. 

Hey folks Christmas is around the corner and coming fast. TWO (2) WEEKS from today. 

Man what a job this turned out to be, God Is SO GOOD.

This was the one bed room that was full of bins and boxes of clothes and pictures. Pretty much everything they owned. It really was sad to throw away all of this stuff. But found out the guy that lived here, just got out of jail and is living down the road with his mom. So if they wanted any of this stuff, he could have come at any time to clean it out. The sad part is the little girl's life has been thrown away. You know what I mean. Her pass pictures and what ever she had when she was little is no longer hers. That is what broken my heart. The parents just didn't care. 

 

This was that room that they started working on. After cleaning it up. It really would be nice and easy to repair and make it a bedroom again. 

I guess this was the little's girl bedroom. We threw out so many stuff toys. Rosie thinks she can make some money on the Benny Babies stuff toys. There was ad least a whole garbage bag of them. 

The outside is going to need much work too. The steps going up are rotted out. There was a shed there at one time. 

Ryan told Rosie that he would clean the yard out, plus the old car frame too. 

You can see there is storeroom under the house too. 

Inside found Christmas stuff. You know a 8 foot Christmas tree. All the bins had all kinds of Christmas items in them. Rosie went thru them and took what she wanted out. I took the bins to the road and piles them up out there. Mean while a couple of cars stopped and went thru them. One family took everything that was left and piled it into their van. This family goes by the house all the time, because of the school bus stop is at the end of the road. The reason I know, when we were first got to the house. There was a heavy set guy, asking if he could have the fishing net that was on the wooden fence out front. I took is down and he was telling me about how he saw a bear last week walking between the two home here. Really seams like a nice guy. I did notice that, pretty much every where we went, like dinner and stores. Everyone would say hello or say Merry Christmas. The area was friendly. 

This is Dean, Ryan helper. He drove over with a riding lawn mower. The blade is shot. But he kept cutting over and over again. It looked pretty good just before we left to go back home. 

Now as we left, I am very happy that we did what we could and prayerfully Ryan will do what he said and Rosie will be in good shape. 

It was worth the trip to see afterwards. 

I know have not blogged for a couple of days, sorry about that. out of town making some money

You might say, hey I have seen these pictures before???? Yes you have. I came up here about month or so and checked this place out with the owner. Her name is Rosie. She lives in the same area as I do. I have done work around her home there. Well she has the property in Silver Springs, Fl. It is about a three (3) hours trip. She asked me if I could take a ride and check out her rented (not any more home?) Back then. We came and saw and I am thinking tear it down and start all over again??? 

Well she asked if we could go clean it out and see what happens. So on Tuesday morning we left early in the morning. Got there and mean while she called for a dumpster.The guy came and looked it over a couple of times. He said he would be afraid that his truck might get stuck in the sand. The main road main is a dirt one. So that didn't work out the way we planned. Mean a guy that lives down the road stopped by and was asking if he could help out. So we asked him about a trailer. He has one and would love to make a couple of bucks. Now he would not be able to get back until around three or so. That will work out great. This way we can pile the bags up and when he gets here. load them up.

The kitchen, you can see they even they took out the cabinets. What a mess. 

This is the back bedroom. It looks like they tried to do some repairs. But surly didn't finish them. 

This is the master bedroom. Stuff everywhere. 

There is another bedroom and bathroom, but I guess I didn't take pictures of them. 

Now this was really sickening. 

This is the first load they took out. Ryan, Dean and Rosie. Hey these guys rock. I would load up the bags and they pulled them out and loaded them up on the trailer. Now we had to spend the night here. The reason is, why drive back and come back to finish cleaning it up? So on Tuesday night we stayed. Rosie slept on on sofa and I was on the other. It really was a good night sleep. First of all we both worked our tails off. But the funny thing was , NO BUGS AT ALL. It was cool night. But we both had sleeping bags. It worked out very well. Tomorrow I will show you what and how it ended up with the house. 

Saturday morning, had a chance to help out Roy's brother Fred.

This is Ricky and Roy. 

As we were walking around looking at different things. Fred asked us to pull out his siding door frame. It was not that bad to do. Just pulled the screws out and got a prey bar and went to town. After a couple of pulls here and there. It all happen to come out. 

As we were looking at the corner tops for the different projects. 

Had to cut a couple of them. This is Fred the one that owns this place. Hey he just bought this a couple of weeks ago. Closed and now trying to fix it up. Over all this is a nice place. Plenty of room, two/two. Plus there are windows in every room except the master bathroom. 

After wards Richie, Roy and I stopped by this Chinese restaurant, for lunch. Not bad. They even had salmon. That was really good tasting. Over all we got a lot of stuff done at Fred's new place. As this next week starts up. Roy went over on Sunday to help out. Then yesterday Rickie and Roy were over there. I would have gone, but I had other plans. On Thursday I will go over and pick up all the things he wants to have dropped off at Restore, Habitat. 

Remember this is a junkie camera. Friday I get the new one. Prayerfully it is much better. The reviews as it is. 

On Friday night I was asked to hang out with some friends.

Drove up to Vero Beach there is this place called Riverside Theatre. So I guess they do this every once and while. It is a place to get a hamburger and drinks. Sit down outside and then there is a local band that plays. This night these guys were preforming. We know the drummer, Big Frank. He is the one that has a business in the park we live in. Pressure washes homes. Hey these guys rocked. 

This be my neighbors Pat and Roy. he was eating his pretzel during the time I took this shot.Plus remember this is my new phone. camera is not to good. I ordered another phone yesterday. 

Bobby and Michelle, Bobby is Roy's older brother. 

They even had a ice skating rink, for the children. It really was like a piece of plastic. Then the kids had to put on these special skates. They sure look like they were have some fun. 

The place filled up pretty good. We got there a little before 6 pm. For being free and good music. It was worth the trip up. 

I forgot there is a dance area too. Maybe next time? 

On Friday morning we had our Christmas get together.

As I have been part of a class on stretching. Well every Christmas time they have a little get together. 

We gather at the club house. Beautiful Christmas tree. 

As we were waiting around for the rest of the crew. We talked and just enjoy hearing the ladies talk about how long they have been part of the class and just nice stories. 

I was asked to go over to the ball room and pick up some bottles of juice. As I was walking through I saw line dancing going on. Hey there are always something going on here at this place. 

It really is a friendly and joyfully folks. 

Mean while that morning I hooked up my new phone. I found out while talking with one of the ladies there. She wanted to know if I could come over and look at something she would like to be build. So I gave her my number. I asked if she would call me and this way I have her number too. Well she tried and it would not go though. Okay my new phone is not working? I left early and got on line to get it corrected. After talking with a couple of folks on line from Tracfone. We got it all fixed. But I am not to keen on the pictures. So today I will be trading this phone in for another one. This as 2 MP for photos. I guess I need ad least 5 MP? 

I was given a challenge a couple of days ago.

You can see what parts I had to work with. Well as there was no paper work on this. I thinking, just look at the box and you can figure this out? 

Noticing that some of the hardware was missing. 

Then some damage.

I put together the bottom piece. Thinking I did pretty good, mickey mousing it. But I got it over to my friends' home. She asked let us try to put the rest together. I thinking wow this is going to look pretty bad. She told me that it was going into a closet. No one will ever see it. Okay you can see it is all together and she is happy. 

Having trouble with my Moose.

My neighbor Brenda's boy friend was outside a couple of days ago. I was watching him with this moose. Thinking, what is wrong with you big buddy there? Jon said,he keeps on falling over. Jon packed him up a in the box and said, I guess he garbage now? I asked him I could try. 

I hooked him up to the power. Thinking maybe a hair blower would help him stand better? That didn't work. So I had some water proofing spray. Thinking maybe the seams need a little help. Sorry to say, poor big guy, I can not help him. 

I saw Jon yesterday and told him sorry. He said just throw him in the garbage. So I got a couple of items out of him. The string of lights and a blower. Maybe I can use this on something else? Hey it works and doesn't take up much space. 

I am becoming my neighbor years ago. He saved everything. Keep a eye on me.
