Not sure about you? But I am not one to weed.

Well, this rose garden is in our front home. It was Jeanne's mom love to keep these gardens weeded. Back when I was kid, my dad had rose a garden too, in the front yard. My chores around the house were, weeding, cutting the grass and I know there was more. The job I hated the most of all of them,
WAS WEEDING. It just seems like I would get the weeds out and in another couple of weeds there are more.
So, Jeanne's sister is coming to town, May 11th. So, this was her mom's place too. so, we need to make it look as nice as possible. All the weeds are somewhat gone. For the last week or so, I have been trying to talk Jeanne in letting me buy some mulch. It is on sale at Home Depot 5 bags for $10.00.
My baby wants rock instead of the mulch.

On this last Saturday, Jeanne and I went to our favorite place. Florida Falls. They sell all kinds of yard art and fountains and pretty much everything kind of rock, you might want or need.
Okay so we bought yard of 1 1/2 rock. But the rules, at this supplier's is they will only load up 1/2 yard on trucks like ours. Which makes sense. Plus, it would be a lot harder to unload.

I started to unload it with a wheelbarrow. But thought WHY? Just back up into the area you want to unload. Then shovel it off.

I picked up the second half of the load and finished it up on Sunday. I really do like the way it looks and Jeanne is the one that loves it.
So now I have the back yard to do next.
I weeded the larger area yesterday and finished that up today. Tomorrow I will pick up another load for the back yard.
This week is a busy one for us. Yesterday morning was Westwood Administration Breakfast.  Had around 18 people, it went well. Friday morning having what they call the Top Ten Seniors. We are putting on a breakfast for about 30 folks, The seniors and their families. So now I need to get cleaned up and go pick up my little girl and go shopping for that this afternoon. Plus, on Saturday evening we are feeding the Seniors Prom, 275 folks that evening.  So, I know we have been shopping now for a couple of days. Prayerfully this will be our final run.
Plus, like I told you before, Jeanne is still studying to take her math test this next couple of weeks.
So, she has a lot on her plate. Pretty much whatever is on her plate it is on mine too.

Jeanne and I are trying to support our programs at Westwood High School.

This is our Flag Football Girls Team.
They are in the finals.

They did win this game. 20 to 13. But the next game that was on Thursday this last week. They lost 6 to 7. I was not there but, Jeanne sure was. She was telling me that they should have won. The refs were really not fair at all. She told that our team should have had two touchdowns but were taking away, for penalties.
Oh well they gave their best shot.
So, this year has ended, it was sad. But there is only a few Senors on this year's team.

Okay this Friday this last week. There is as Senor Fun Day today. Jeanne and her helpers set up tables and tent and three grills.

We were serving French Fries and pop.

This is Andrew, him and I were deep frying the fries. It started out slow at first. But as the games were coming to a end. We had many customers.

We were only there for about two hours. Then time to break down and put everything back into the truck and bring to home.
It really was nice to have the helping hands and I believe everyone had some fun and ate a lot of French Fries.
Afterwards we cleaned up everything and we got back into the kitchen and had some cleaning up to do. But at the end, we made a few bucks for Jeanne's program and enjoyed working alongside these kids.
Okay this next week is a busy one for Jeanne and crew. Which you know I am part of.
Tuesday we are servicing breakfast for 30 or more school administrators.
Thursday we are servicing breakfast for the top 10 Senors and family.
Then the BIG ONE. We are overseeing the Senor Prom food side). That is Saturday evening. It will be at the 500 Club. Which we went to check out about two weeks ago. Here are some pictures of the site.

While we were there, the gentleman that bought the old Post Office. I think his name was John. But this day they were setting up for a wedding that was happening that next, week-end.
He was telling us some of the history that had happen here many years ago.
It really is a beautiful facility.
So, we are excepting around 275 students and staff. When the time comes, I will be sharing more then.
Okay now I need to get my butt outside and finish my large project I started a week ago. That is weeding and putting down rock in the flower beds and around the trees. I will be sharing more next week.
I really hope this week-end, you have the time to listen to a message about Christ and just enjoying reading your Bible too.
I love you all and please say a Prayer or two for Jeanne she is going to be taking her Math test in a week or so. She had been studying every evening and this last three week-end with all her heart and soul. I was looking at some of the questions she will have on her test, and I told her I am SORRY to say. I don't know anything about Algebra.
I will keep you posted.

I am not sure what people, THINK OR NOT?

This article is about TIPS TO STAY SAFE AROUND ALLIGATORS.
WHAT???
Okay on Feb. 22nd, a older woman (85 years) was walking her dog along the shore of the lake at Fairways Spanish Lakes. While walking I guess alligator saw her small dog and decided to have a snack.

I am not sure what really happened. But I think she was walking along and the alligator saw the small dog and grabbed it and tried to pull it in the water and the older woman (85 old) tried to pull the dog out of the water. But the alligator won. The woman was pulled out in the lake and drowned.
I know it was a sad day, for the park. But now they are all up in arms about, what are you going to do with the alligators? They brought out a crew and started taking the alligators out of the lakes. I am not sure how many or what sizes they were taking.
T.V. station WPEC CBS 12 com was the ones that did a video on what happened.
I tried to download to show you, but would not download.
But I think about this and say, wow why would anyone walk their dog along the lakes? That to me is asking for trouble,
Folks I am sorry to hear that someone got killed because of this. Her family and friends are in our prayers.

Have you seen the price for Coca Cola products? Most places are charging $7 to $10.00 a 12 pack.

This is only one of our receipts. Jeanne went shopping, for Coca Cola and Canda Dry products. They are on sale at Walgreens. These are for the school. Jeanne sells Coca Cola products. The money she gets goes back into the Culinary Program. This way she can provide food products, so her kids can make and cut and do all kinds of thing to show them what Culinary is all about.
So, meanwhile I went shopping too. I was out doing Door Dash and afterwards I went to a couple of different Walgreens and bought some too. For our home. I think this was the last day for these sales.

These went to the school, for sale.

All of these are for our personal use. You know cook outs and just having family over for some fun things to do.
I am not sure why pop is going up in price so much?
I was talking with the owner of Butter Feilds on Kings Highway, of Fort Pierce. he always has Coke Products on sale, most of the time $2.88 a 12 pack. But he is buying 12 packs himself, for the store at $5.99 each. Then selling them for $7.99. he really not sure why the price has jumped up so much?
But I know I use to buy the off brands before. We can go right back to that.
Well, I pray you had a wonderful Easter. I know we sure did. It was nice to go to the Sonrise Service, then made some food and went over to our niece's home for lunch.
This last week, Jeanne has been having some troubles with her legs. Getting cramps in her calves and legs. She has been trying different things to try to help. So, this morning she is feeling better.
Prayerfully tomorrow she will be still in good shape,
If you could please say a prayer of two for her this next week. We have a few things going on that she has signed up for. I will try to keep you in the loop.
Hey folks, we just want to tell you how much we love you all and that Jesus loves you even more.

This is one of Jeanne's MOST favorite places.

This is Bruno's Chocolate Creations. It is a local place, 2650 US 1 Fort Pierce. Florida 34946
Okay I know Easter is over with. But Jeanne and I stopped there last week and the place was already to those lastminute shoppers.
Just to warren you, this is HOME MADE AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?
A pound of chocolate is $38.00+ So you understand, make sure you bring enough money.

I can tell you this, when we walk away from here, my wife is VERY HAPPY.
So, folks if you are ever in the neighborhood, please stop by and check this place out.
You will not be disappointed at all.
I hope you have had a chance to read my last couple of Blog, posts?
OUR LORD, LOVES YOU VERY MUCH.
Please seek Him and you will not be disappointed. He is real and wants you to talk with Him.

This was our Easter Sunday

The poster I shared a couple of days ago, here is another one I saw driving up US 1 while I was doing Door Dash. I am so blessed to see posters like this along the main roads down here. It is poster that Calvary, down in Fort Lauderdale use to share, with another ministry. Back a few years ago. But I pray that folks see this and do start asking questions to Our Lord?
Friends and family, please, if you have any questions about your this, feel free to e mail me at
tombahamas7@gmail.com
This is why Jesus came to this earth, to die and His RESURRECTION, ON EASTER SUNDAY.

The Crossing each and every year use this cemetery to have Easter Sonrise Service here.

This is Joan (singer) and Pastor Craig. He is our pastor at The Crossing Community Church. His message was about the FEAR this world keeps pushing down our throats.
So, I the Bible, John 14:27-29 I am leaving you a GIFT-PEACE OF MIND AND HEART. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So DON'T BE TROUBLE OR AFRAID. (28) Remember what I told you: I am going away, BUT I will COME BACK to you again. If you really love me (Jesus) you will be very happy for Me, because now I can go to the Father, who is GREATER than I am. (29) I have told you these things before they happen so that you will BELIEVE when they happen.

Afterwards we had a chance to talk with a few folks to get caught up.
What a beautiful day.

Okay we need to get a few things done before we drive over to Jeanne's niece's home for lunch.
We made deviled eggs, broccoli salad and fruit salad too. My baby loves to share.

Pulling into their property is so nice. They have a beautiful lot and many things built to make their lives much easier to live. Maybe not, more work to take care of it?

Dave has a great busiest. He had this boat built for him this last year. He had another smaller boat to do his work before.
He goes out each morning and uses a net plus, to get bait.  Then he turns around and sells it. I know there is a lot of work to do this job. But just think, if you love doing this. What a way to make a living.
He has his son helping him too. So,
by looking on Facebook, I see they take some time to go fishing too. NICE.

He had this pound dug out a few years ago. Nice set up.

You can see many hands at work making this luncheon, happen. What a spread?

As always before we partake. We pray and thank Our Lord for all we have and to keep our families safe in all we do. Plus bless the food.

This is Remy. She has so much energy. I was throwing her the ball for about ten minutes or so.  I just got a tried. So, the kids around here, try to keep up with her and play fetch.
Overall, I am so blessed to be part of this family and just hang out and get caught up.
I know Jeanne really does enjoying seeing her family and friends.
Thank you, Lord for this time and look forward in seeing them in May. We are invited to David and Shaughnessy's daughter (Kaitlynne/Austin), wedding May 13th in New Samaritan, Florida. It is about 112 miles away. But we will be staying at the hotel that the family will be staying at.
So, all my friends and family out here, I wish you a fantastic day and prayerfully you are seeking, Our Lord.
Praise Him in all you are going thru. His peace is what we all need.
